“But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)

(1) -- the cowardly
This group represents at least 3 sub-groups:
(A) - People who are afraid of accepting and/or
confessing Jesus (for a variety of reasons)
(B) - BACs who fall away from the faith
(e.g. Galatians 5:4), including those who
fall away during Christian persecution
(Matthew 24:13, Matthew 10:22, Mark 13:13)
(C) - BACs who submit to taking the deadly mark of the beast during the time of the antichrist
(Revelation 13:7-17, Revelation 14:9-10,
Revelation 20:4, and also 2:10, 12:11)

(2) -- the unbelieving
This group obviously are those who
do NOT believe in Jesus Christ.
(However, God does say that those who are disobedient are proving their unbelief:
Hebrews 3:18-19, 4:3-6, 4:11).

(3) -- the abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars
This group represents a long list of sinners, especially habitual sinners.
And this group represents at least 2 sub-groups:
(A) - All non-believers who are habitual sinners.
(B) - All BACs who choose to be habitual sinners
----- (Many NT verses teach they are NOT
-- --- on the path to eternal life.)
Please note
Those in (A) can become BACs.
Those in (B) can repent (stop sinning) and
get back on that narrow path to eternal life.

Please note
Group (3) does NOT include BACs who commit the occasional sin (and then repent), for these
are co-operating with the precious Holy Spirit,
as per Romans 8 …
● walking according to the Spirit (8:1, 8:4)
● living according to the Spirit (8:5)
● spiritually minded (8:6)
● in the Spirit (8:9)
● putting to death the flesh >
in order to live spiritually (8:13)
● being led by the Spirit >
proving they are sons of God (8:14)
● suffering with Him >
to be joint heirs with Christ (8:17)
$$$ These BACs are slaves of obedience,
leading to righteousness (Romans 6:16)
... and are slaves of righteousness,
leading to holiness (Romans 6:19).
This is all part of being sanctified unto holiness!

I was looking up the word unbelievers (Strong's 571) and there are some interesting alternates. Incredible, incredulous, unpersuaded, 'not convinced', refusing to believe. It's pretty interesting to think of it that way in the modern era.

Yes, I checked several translations ...
and surprisingly, they all use "unbelieving".

Jesus preaches a diffrent tone,

There is only one unforgivable sin, just one.

So if we belive in Jesus and his death and Resurrection and he is the son of god then we are saved.

Belief is the key to salvation.

Interestingly I also noticed a difference in Jesus' teachings, such as the beatitudes and the various blessings people receive for doing good: Matthew 5:3

But there are the curses portion to the bible. Which is being pointed out here. I tend to focus on the positive and let go the negative. But I have been known to be judgmental at times. I'm still repenting of that :)

It seems that you have NOT paid attention to
the dozens of dire warnings in the NT ...
some in the 4 gospels, some in the epistles.

Some of these warnings are extremely clear!
Some refer to LOSS of eternal life, and
some refer to GAIN of eternal death, etc.
Some refer to having your name being
blotted OUT of the Book of Life, etc.

Please believe in what the NT says
... and NOT what your church says!
Most churches today are preaching a false gospel
for one reason or another (& there are several).

But, here is the best advice that can be given
RECONCILE all of the so-called OSAS verses
with all of those NT verses which are opposed.
IOW, they ALL have to fit together within
the framework of the whole entire NT.

So this lake of fire you're talking about... do you actually know what it is? Is it that they will be resurrected and killed in the lake of fire. The bible clearly spells out a volcanic like lake of fire. Or do you suppose that it is a spiritual death.

"But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

It speaks of sulfur in some translations and in others it's brimstone. That appears to be physical in nature.

What do you believe is the actual physical fate of those people, is it eternally dead and gone from existence after being burnt alive in physical form?

Here I go being confused again! ... Doesn't
being negative relate to being judgmental?

It definitely is a real place in the bowels
of the earth, as is hell. The NT says ...
Jesus talked more about hell than about heaven,
and later, Hell will be cast into the Lake of Fire.

It can. I grew up in a house where we were taught to be negative and judgmental. But being negative doesn't necessarily mean your judgmental.

It's like watching movies of doom and gloom, how do you feel afterwards? Or watching something uplifting and positive, and how does that make you feel.

Positive people I think are probably happier, where negative people may be more depressed?

Yeah I think it's a real place too. It talks about Jesus visiting spirit prison (1 Peter 3:19) and going into the heart of the earth for 3 days (Matthew 12:40).

I follow what Jesus said not what any church said, I follow Jesus only.

Now if your position is Jesus was a liar when he said there is only one unforgivable sin then tell me in plain English and do not twist scripture in any way.

Jesus came and finished all, So there is no reason to listen to one scripture here over Jesus own words.

If we are not believers then we will have our names blotted out, yes, but not sinners as Jesus forgave my sins as he promised.

According to Revelation, what is the destiny of anyone who receives the Mark of the Beast? (Revelation 14:9-10)?

According to 1 Corinthians 3:17, what will God do to anyone who destroys the Temple of God (our Bodies)? If a man commits suicide (destroys his own body), what will God do to him after he is dead?

There are 3 unpardonable sins..

1) Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit
2) Receiving the Mark of the Beast
3) Suicide

No one can repent of these. Once they are committed, it is too late for them.

He doesn't understand what 1) refers to:
attributing to Satan what the Holy Spirit did.
He still doesn't understand.
So, how about us committing suicide?

I would have to disagree with you on all but: 1) Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

Receiving the mark of the beast didn't say eternal torment. Or did it?

Also there are plenty of mentally ill people who committed suicide that are probably going to heaven. But then you might have to be mentally ill to fully understand that principle.

An unforgiveable sin is one which
no amount of repenting will overcome.
Do you understand this English?

that is blasphemy of the holy spirt.

All other sins will be forgiven, Are you calling Jesus a liar?

I'm really truly concerned.

And no, you are wrong,

Repenting is stopping from doing it.

Forgives is a free gift from Jesus.

So, If all sin is forgiven, with just my belief, then I am saved.

As I would never , ever once blasphemy of the holy spirt.

Now that is denying Jesus and I would never deny him or his words.

The soul of every man lasts forever. The Lake of Fire lasts forever and ever. The souls and resurrected bodies of everyone who's name is not in the Lambs book of life will be thrown in there, where their body/soul/spirit will be engulfed in flames forever. Their resurrected body will never burn up. Their soul will never burn up. Satan, the AntiChrist, the False Prophet, all the demons, and anyone whose name is not written in the Lambs Book of Life will be tormented FOREVER and EVER. They will always exists in torment for "ages of ages". The smoke of their torment goes up "forever and ever" (Revelation 14:11).

Both Heaven and the Lake of Fire last forever...eternity. The same Greek word is used for both Eternal Life and Eternal Punishment (Matthew 25:46) aiōnion . Jesus said Blasphemy of the Spirit cannot be forgiven in this age OR the next. This age is temporal. The next Age is Eternal. But the the smoke of their torment in the Lake of Fire goes up "Eternally eternal".
