Hello brother Asher! Congratulations on your marriage. Please be encouraged to “love your wife as Christ loved the church”. I have been married for twelve years and have four children. My youngest is on the spectrum, too. She is only six but has accepted Christ and was baptized on Easter Sunday! I have to say that there is nothing better than a wife of noble character. I know that it is easy to get wrapped up with serving in the church and seeking to make people outside your marriage happy, but please be encouraged that if you put God first and your wife second, pouring out the love that she needs and making sure that she knows that you put her second only to God, you will both be happy for a long time! May God bless you!
In Christ,
Kevin
Also, I just wanted to share a book that I am reading that is truly AMAZING! It is called “Anatomy of an Affair: How Affairs, Attractions, and Addictions develop and how to guard your marriage against them.” by Dave Carder (2017). You can pick this up in any bookstore or on Amazon.com or Audible. It is not what most people think. It is not for those folks who are having problems with affairs, but rather those who want to make sure that they NEVER have any major issues in their marriage in this area. My wife and I are reading it together (we have been doing this together for several years) and this is without a doubt THE BEST marriage book we have ever read! Extremely helpful.
