You should see what some of the rabbis say about this in the OP article.

I looked at the OP. Now if we were talking about the wall in Israel, I could see that may be related to prophesy. When the attack comes on Israel, apparently the thought of the evil leader will be to hit the unwalled areas...but some wall in America or elsewhere?

Seems to me that we already have an "evil leader" attacking, but it's not from without but from within.

The choice is not between saints and devils in US politics, but of lesser evils. Personally when I see most Dems gung ho for child sacrifices and attacking all that is good or true or Christian, I consider them outright open enemies of God.

And when I see most Republicans express thought-provoking arguments against abortion but cheer on (or, at the very least, do nothing to stop) migrant children being caged at the border, and doing nothing to prevent abortion through sex education and dispersal of birth control aids (e.g: condoms), I consider them to be hypocrites and enemies of what should be considered decent.

Fair enough. However passing out birth control items to folks is not on the same level as mass murder. Not at all, any more than chewing gum is. As for the sudden caging of kids you speak of, I am not well informed on when this started, and who really is to blame. If the crocodile hunter held his baby over balcony above a 20 foot crocodile and accidentally dropped it, who is to blame? Do not parents have some responsibility in what they expose their kids too? How about your home? Do you have a door? Can anyone bring their families in there? How about where you work, can we send a thousand people in there for your company to house and feed and provide medical and etc etc? (regardless of whether they like it or not). Do you think that if people had the laws called on them stopping them from breaking down your door and taking what they wanted that they would then have the right to commit heinous crimes?

All that being said, I will say that I think the USA and other countries who supported the destruction of whole countries have a duty to help pay for the victims to some extent!

I find it very interesting that Trump is extremely pro Israel. God fights for Israel!
God would fight for them if they called out to Him. When they reject Jesus He has to let them go their own way and pay the price of rebellion. One day He will fight for them after they repent. Meanwhile, sorry, I don't think He does fight for that secular nation. That is why they need Trump:)

God brought Israel back to save them. They are His work in progress. Trump is an instrument in His hand. Be patient. God is at work.

Ezekiel 11:17-20
17 Therefore say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "I will gather you from the peoples, assemble you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel." '
18 And they will go there, and they will take away all its detestable things and all its abominations from there.
19 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh,
20 that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

From Breaking Israel News:

“And I sought a man among them to repair the wall or to stand in the breach before Me in behalf of this land, that I might not destroy it; but I found none.” Ezekiel 22:30 (The Israel Bible™)

Excerpt:

“The Bible is available to everyone, to teach them,” Rabbi Winston said. “The Prophet Ezekiel was clearly speaking to the Jews in Israel at that time. The U.S. is not Jewish in any way but the moment you have a large Jewish population in that country, it becomes similar to Israel on a level of hashgacha pratit.”

Rabbi Winston said that the verse in Ezekiel could be understood as referring to the current political conflict in the U.S.

“It is relevant to say that the message given by Ezekiel to the Jews of his time can be relevant to Donald Trump and America and what is happening right now,” Rabbi Winston said. “I’m not saying that Ezekiel was speaking directly about Donald Trump and his wall, but I think that it is a useful thing to wonder about. Apparently, the prophet was expressing God’s sentiment that the lack of a wall, any wall, in a place where walls are needed, could be a moral and spiritual disaster.”

Rabbi Hillel Weiss, the spokesman for the Sanhedrin, framed the current partisan political conflict in the U.S. in moral terms, indicating that the opposition to the president indicates a deep spiritual schism.

“The position of Trump and his supporters on the issue of the border wall is not only reasonable, but it is what people have universally agreed upon until today; that a country needs to protect its borders,” Rabbi Weiss told Breaking Israel News. “There has always been a dialogue about how to do so or to what extent. But the claim by the left that borders are immoral is unprecedented. It clearly goes much deeper than this one issue, this one border fence. They believe that nationalism is a murderous belief and that any border or boundary is unacceptable.”

Weiss explained that in the conflict between globalism versus nationalism, the Bible was explicitly on the side of nations.

“The concept of nations, of 70 nations in particular, originated in the Bible,” the rabbi explained. “It was a huge advance for mankind, giving a framework for men to connect to their neighbors in a positive manner. Of course, like any positive thing it can be taken to an extreme and become evil but living with a vague universal concept of brotherhood without boundaries has always led to human suffering. Some aspects of Catholicism which placed the Vatican above the state, and all aspects of communism, tried to wipe out nationalism.”

Rabbi Weiss examined the motives behind opposition to borders.

“People who want to remove the concept of a nation are always motivated by a desire to rule by themselves, he argued. They want to remove boundaries of the nation, boundaries of the family, of relations, and replace them with boundaries that they set.”

The rabbi explained that despite support from the left-wing, the unprecedented left-wing objection to the security wall went counter to traditionally liberal values and is, in fact, anti-Bible in its basis.

Full article: Does Trump’s Border Wall Fulfill Ezekiel 22?

Eze 22:30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

That passage is referring to any righteous, in all places and in all times, standing in the gap (interceding) for a lost world and individual nations. For example, Moses and Abraham interceding for Israel and Sodom/Gomorrah. God has chosen to work through the Saints in interceding for the nations. God has called all Saints to this ministry. We are priests, kings, and intercessors in Christ.

Before they say uncle some 2/3 of them will die according to prophesy.

I think some people interpret that as after He returns...not sure.
18 And they will go there, and they will take away all its detestable things and all its abominations from there.
That seems to prove it is later, that is not happening today there!
19 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh,
Bingo..THEN. Not now.
20 that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.
So WHEN they accept Jesus, THEN they shall be (again) His people.

Only God knows what's in their hearts right now. I have no doubt that many Jews have a heart for God. As the Scripture said, God changes hearts. Yes, they will suffer greatly but God will be with them right up to the end.

Isaiah 11:12
12 He will set up a banner for the nations, And will assemble the outcasts of Israel, And gather together the dispersed of Judah From the four corners of the earth.

And He did.

Romans 11:26-27
26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
27 For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins."
Yes Jesus will come and they (or many of them) will be saved.
