I don’t read Latin. The KJV does not admit that the Deuterocanonical books are Scripture, so it is automatically inferior.

1 Corinthians 14: "18
I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all: 19Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue."

So how do you read the Bible?

I use my hands to lift a book up to my visual range, and then audibly or mentally pronounce the words that my eyes see, typically.

You just said you believe the Vulgate to be better, but you can't read Latin, so what version of the Bible do you read?

hmmm... I'm thinking that's not an original scan from your house!
Fine, but do you have menus 3.2 with some Harvard Graphics to go with it?

You might have to modify your EMM386.

The verse does not state or teach what you wrote.

Of course not, because you've been conditioned to think that only Mother Church knows what that verse means.

I grow old, I grow old,
I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled,
and here's no great matter,
I have seen the eternal footman hold my coat, and snicker,
and in short, I was afraid.

This discussion has gotten kind of weird.

So you don't believe the church (the body of Christ) are a group of believers in existence today?
Or do you not believe in the bodily resurrection? I can show you Scripture for both if you like.

And how blessed she was to follow the servant to his master...her husband.
  • "And they called Rebekah, and said unto her, Wilt thou go with this man? And she said, I will go.
    Genesis 24:58 Meaning
  • 59 And they sent away Rebekah their sister, and her nurse, and Abraham's servant, and his men.
    Genesis 24:59 Meaning
  • 60 And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Thou art our sister, be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them.
    Genesis 24:60 Meaning
  • 61 And Rebekah arose, and her damsels, and they rode upon the camels, and followed the man: and the servant took Rebekah, and went his way."
    81 Bible Verses About Eliezer
But, what if she would have thought little of the servant, and deemed him only a fallible man. She would not be fit to marry Isaac...and, as Abraham ordered, "And if the woman will not be willing to follow thee, then thou shalt be clear from this my oath: only bring not my son thither again."--Isaac would not return to that land.
