Get rid of Trump. Nickie and Pence might be a better idea. I have no respect for Trump.It is strange, but the idea is a good one. I could never warm up to Pence, but he did help bring in the religious right for Trump.

The key issue for the Religious Right is packing the courts for an end-run of the First Amendment, which Trump seems to be doing just fine. The question would be if Haley is seen by them as being able to keep to that course.We need to know if the religious right will still come along sans Pence. If so then Haley would certainly enhance the ticket. But if succession due to death or incapacity is the determining factor then Pence is the best person.
