He testified before Congress!!!! I love that when he was asked where he got his information he said "not Facebook." It's a lol but it's also significant bc so many who've claimed they've "done their research" haven't done any actual research. They think reading posts misrepresenting research that are presented to them on anti-vaxxer Facebook groups, anti-vaxxer fraud groups like Vaccine Choice Canada - is doing research, when it's not. He actually read real research, for himself. He was really articulate & inspiring. I'm glad he's inspired other teens to not just blindly follow their parents' anti-vaxxer ignorance & to be responsible citizens.

I think so many teens & 20s think about what they can do to make a difference in the future. After finishing HS, after getting a college degree, after starting a career. It definitely makes me smile when young ppl do all they can to make a difference now. I think it's awesome that Ethan Lindenberger testified before Congress. He's inspired a lot of teens to understand why vaccination is so important. He understands how vaccination helps to protect him & other people in society. It makes a huge difference. My sister has Asperger's, the whole "vaccines cause autism" myth is super offensive to me. I'm really proud that instead of just accepting that myth teens are combatting it.
Ethan Lindenberger is a conservative Christian. I think that's great too bc there's this misconception that Christians are anti-science, that we're ignorant. I think he helps to challenge that stigma!

The Senate Bill in Cali that would make it way, way harder for crooked drs to write fake medical exemptions for mandatory school vaccine requirements has advanced! Most drs are honest but there are some who were charging huge payments to corrupt parents ignorant about vaccines who were cheating the system. That makes me 
. The measles outbreaks around the world has been so hurtful to so many ppl. It's also super expensive to control & a hassle. Congratulations to @Stanfordella Her family is friends with the state senator who co-wrote the 1st bill in Cali that eliminated all non-medical exemptions for vaccine requirements. It helped to raise the percentage of kids being vaccinated on time, which in turn helps public health bc it increases herd immunity that protects those too young to be vaccinated yet, the elderly, cancer patients & others. She worked on the re election campaigns for the authors of the bill last yr & then this yr has worked with the congressman who got Amazon to take down Vaxxed. Like I wrote b4 I think it's really great when teens decide that they can work to make a real difference right now. I'm glad she's done that. It makes me feel proud.

It's rare that Donald Trump makes me smile, but his urging everyone to be vaccinated does. Considering that he propagated thoroughly debunked myths, contributing to the contagion of misinformation that has lead to the surge in measles outbreaks, it's a bit like throwing buckets of water onto a wildfire after having tossed lit matches onto the parched land, but still.........

I did boys!!!! I finally convinced my mom to let me get vaccinated. She still doesn’t agree with it, but gave in after I gave her lots of evidence. : teenagers I think this will make @Stanfordella & @Zoii smile

The beauty of today makes me I was also delighted to see this floral wreath in the park beside our house with "this is a symbol of my gratitude" carved into the wood, and facing the ocean. Someone left it there, a sweet and lovely sentiment that makes us grateful for whoever that person is. To all Americans - Happy Thanksgiving. To Zoii, Lucillia, and all who live in other countries, happy Thursday. Wherever you may be, whatever you may be doing, I hope you have many reasons to feel grateful today!
