Amen! Man is saved through faith and not by works (Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 3:5; 2 Timothy 1:9); yet genuine faith is vindicated, substantiated, evidenced by works (James 2:14-24). It is through faith "in Christ alone" (and not by the merits of our works) that we are justified on account of Christ (Romans 3:24; 5:1; 5:9); yet the faith that justifies is never alone (solitary, unfruitful, barren) if it is genuine (James 2:14-24). *Perfect Harmony*

Because of those verses and the word “Gospel” means “Good News”,
then what was the “Good News”
from just after the Creation time (first what did God say to Adam and Eve) to the Israelites time,
from the time of King David until the time of the New Testament,
in the time of John the Baptist,
in the time of the ministry on Earth of Jesus Christ,
during the First Century Christian churches time,
and then how did the Roman Catholic Popes and denominational churches try to change the Salvation requirements.
Then how should be properly do the Great Commission Evangelism and Teaching?

Jesus is died for us, burried for us and rose for us Cor 15:4

The Gospel is that bc of Christ we then have an example to do our best to follow him too. The bible teaches about faith and deeds that are to align with each other but if we fail then the other Scripture takes over which is that one that talks about 'what i want to do, i don't do and what i don't want to do, i do'. Then there's grace and forgiveness if we confess our sins to God. "Not everyone who says to me Lord, lord will enter the kingdom of heaven but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven... Then i will say 'Away from me you evil-doers!' ", that's what i believe in.

The gospel is best summed up in John 3:16, for God so loves the world that He gave His one and only Son Jesus that whoever believes in Jesus shall not perish but have eternal life.

We had been talking about this in another thread, but at foundation, the Gospel is the assembling of stories to help make comprehensible to our minds, how and why the Son of God was brought to earth to provide salvation to man. It is those rich stories, and the ones that followed after, that speak to us and express Gold's love for the world by allowing his Son to come and dwell among us in our towns and cities.

The gospel is Jesus died was buried and rose 3days later. This is the good news you are saved by. 1 cor 15:1-4
