1 Nephi 11:24 And after he had said these words, he said unto me: Look! And I looked, and I beheld the Son of God going forth among the children of men; and I saw many fall down at his feet and worship him.

2 Nephi 25: 29 And now behold, I say unto you that the right way is to believe in Christ, and deny him not; and Christ is the Holy One of Israel; wherefore ye must bow down before him, and worship him with all your might, mind, and strength, and your whole soul; and if ye do this ye shall in nowise be cast out.

3 Nephi 11:

13 And it came to pass that the Lord spake unto them saying:

14 Arise and come forth unto me, that ye may thrust your hands into my side, and also that ye may feel the prints of the nails in my hands and in my feet, that ye may know that I am the God of Israel, and the God of the whole earth, and have been slain for the sins of the world.

17 Hosanna! Blessed be the name of the Most High God! And they did fall down at the feet of Jesus, and did worship him.

Lots of Mormon confusion on God the Father and Jesus and who to worship
There is very little confusion, we know about the Godhead, and the nature of God, so it makes for perfect sense to us that we worship the same God as Jesus worships. God the Father, who BTW is the God of Jesus. (see John 20:17)

It is true that if Jesus came to me at this moment, I would fall to my knees and worship him, for he is like the Father in every detail, and They are one.

You can say all you wish, but in the end, Jesus told Mary he was ascending to HIS GOD AND HIS FATHER, and to go tell his brethren that this was taking place.

Remember when he said this, he had completed his mission and was a perfect resurrected man. and was ready to ascend to his God, to receive from his God, the same glory that he had been give by his God before the worlds were created.

That is why Jesus prayed to his God, God the Father, that is why Jesus acknowledged that his God was greater than he was, it is because from his God he received the power and authority to be a god before hi ministry on earth and after he ascended to his God.

His God then allowed him to sit down next to him in glory, in the heavens, to await Jesus's second coming, which is just around the corner.

Jesus taught us to worship his God, God the Father. So we do. If Jesus would appear to us, we would receive him and worship him too, because he is one with the Father.

Didn't I not say when Jesus laid aside his Equality, wealth,Joy and Glory he became subservient to God the Father

The Creeds do teach Jesus was subservient to God The Father

The Athanasian Creed, was created to crush Arianism. In the crushing process, and in his zeal to crush Arianism, Athanasius also crushed the true nature of God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

That is why you cannot agree with me about John 20:17, and about many, many other scriptures that teach us the true nature of God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. It all goes back to Athanasius.

Why did Isaiah write that the Lord said “Beside me there is no God” and “There is none beside me” (Isa. 44:6; Isa. 45:21) when there are three personages in the Godhead?
Keith L. Sellers, visiting professor of ancient scripture, Brigham Young University, and Victor G. Forsnes, professor of engineering, Ricks College. To better understand the Lord’s words in Isaiah 44 and 45, we must first identify who is speaking. The passage indicates that it is “the king of Israel,” the “Lord of Hosts” (Isa. 44:6)—“a just God and a Saviour” (Isa. 45:21). This is the God of the Old Testament, the Great I Am—Jehovah....

Keeping in mind, then, that though the Father and the Son are separate beings, the Son, by divine investiture of authority, can speak as though he were God the Father—and, in fact, in certain of his roles is a Father—let us look at Isaiah 44:6 [Isa. 44:6] and Isa. 45:21.

One way to examine these passages of scripture is to examine other scriptures on the same topic. One of the passages relevant to this topic is Exodus 20:3–5, part of the Ten Commandments, in which the Lord states that Israel should have no other gods before him and that he is “a jealous god.” In other words, Jehovah possesses deep and sensitive feelings for his covenant people and is greatly interested in their welfare. In return, he requires their faithful obedience; their hearts should be set on no other object of worship than on him. [Ex. 20:3–5]...

In 1916, the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve explained that “Jesus Christ is the Son of Elohim both as spiritual and bodily offspring; that is to say, Elohim is literally the Father of the spirit of Jesus Christ and also of the body in which Jesus Christ performed His mission in the flesh.”

They went on to declare that because of this unique relationship with God the Father, “Jesus the Son has represented and yet represents Elohim His Father in power and authority. This is true of Christ in His preexistent, antemortal, or unembodied state, in the which He was known as Jehovah,” as well as in mortality and today in his resurrected state. “The Father placed His name upon the Son,” the First Presidency and Quorum of Twelve continued, “and Jesus Christ spoke and ministered in and through the Father’s name; and so far as power, authority and Godship are concerned His words and acts were and are those of the Father.” (In James R. Clark, comp., Messages of the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6 vols. (Salt Lake City: Bookcraft, 1965–75), 5:27, 31–32.)

Isaiah 43:10
Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

We in the church of Jesus Christ believe there is 1 God that we worship. Though there are gods many and lords many, to us there is but 1 God whom we worship. It is as simple as that.

No, that is not why WE, as Christians, do not agree with the multiple false teachings of Mormonism.

Jesus's God was God the Father since he laid aside:View attachment 255527

I go by the KJV of the Bible

(New Testament | Philippians 2:5 - 6)

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Here is another good passage:

(New Testament | Philippians 3:12 - 15)

12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

Yes they seem to, but take all the words of JS on the subject and you will see the entire doctrine explained.

That is what happens in the bible, you take 4 or 5 scriptures that present your position on the nature of God, instead of taking all the scriptures that tell us of the true nature of God.

There is only one nature of the Godhead that is correct, and that one nature is found in all of the scriptures in the bible pertaining to the true nature of God. And there is only one doctrine that can reconcile all scriptures pertaining to the true nature of God.
