"The Bible alone is the word of God and the only infallible rule of faith and practice" may possibly have sounded reasonable to some people 500 years ago, but 6,000 unauthorized conflicting manmade denominations later, each claiming to be taking truth from "the Bible alone", yet the teaching of each denomination contradicting the teaching of the others, should convince any rational person that the word "truth" in such a situation is totally meaningless. Truth cannot contradict truth. This is doctrinal chaos, and I didn't even mention the 20,000+ so-called "non-denominational" Protestant churches, which are just mini-denominations. In contrast, the one church Jesus Christ founded, which He said was to remain one, remains one in belief, one in teaching, one in worship, one in biblical understanding throughout the world after 2,000 years, with no conflicting denominations.
