No one did (including you), I was just imagining. Not making fun of you.
Sorry 'bout that. It's hard to tell with all the weird stuff I hear on the net. Of course Adam's fall included God, man and nature.

It was gaining an intimate personal understanding of evil that led me to be a Christian. As far as I can tell, the whole ride the human race signed up for was named 'Knowledge of Good and Evil'. Evil seems to be separation from God, from perfection. Things get worse the further the separation, since God is the author of love, light, holiness, mercy, sanity, forgiveness, life, etc. On a personal level it's not pleasant. I don't really believe that one even *needs* to be damned to Hell. One can find oneself there simply by deliberately and insistently walking away from God, the same way you can find yourself in the cold and the dark if you walk away from a campfire, or in the warmth and the light if you walk towards it.
I had the same experience, many years ago.
I knew evil first--satan became real. Then I realized that if he's real then God must be real too.
And I like your analogy --- if we walk away from the campfire, we face cold and danger and death.

So, I don't the expect the weather to be perfect here. I don't expect people to be immortal and not to get sick and not to die. I do have faith that God is calling us back to himself and made a way back through his Son. Hard to find a campfire when you are wearing a blindfold. God took the blindfold off.
Amen.

I would, but, I'm 47 and I really don't plan to be here that long. Busy getting ready to leave - after all this was never my home.
You shoulda been a poet.
My prayers are with you brother.

I think you'd be hard-pressed finding a pre-tribber who doesn't realize there will be those who become believers afterwards.
Unfortunately, the Bible does not support this. Maybe a very few will realize they are following the wrong person, but Revelation 13:8 and Revelation 17:8 both say; All the world will worship the 'beast'.
Only those whose names are already Written in the Book of Life, will not. We see those faithful people; every Christian in the holy Land when Satan comes down to the earth. Revelation 12:13-17 Those Christians who stand firm in their faith will be taken to a place of safety on earth, but those who failed the test, must remain. Daniel 11:3-25, Zechariah 14:1-2

Revelation 12 had the child caught up to God prior to the woman fleeing into the wilderness. Isaiah 19 has people of God gathered together with Him prior to His wrath being poured out over the entire earth. These are two clear witnesses to the timing of the rapture. Any 'understanding' that provides a different conclusion is just foolishness from the minds of men.

Your conclusions are made to suit a preconceived belief.
Revelation 12; the 'child' is Jesus, the 'woman' represents Israel, who are now every faithful Christian person. They will be taken to a place of safety, on earth.
The theory of a 'rapture to heaven' of the Church, is what is foolishness from the minds of men. 2 Timothy 4:3-4

The child is the one who rules with the rod of iron, which is a characteristic given to both Jesus and the Church. Together, Paul explains we are the body of Christ and He is the head. This whole child is what is caught up.

And don't you dare accuse me of conclusions based of preconceived notions when you give such garbage that the woman is now the Church. That is the epitome of twisting to make it fit personal desires.

Where does the Bible say that?
Only Jesus wields the rod of iron.

Right, we; the faithful Christians are the spiritual body of Christ.
This whole child is what is caught up.
Wrong, Rev 12 is clear; only half of the Christians are taken to safety. Rev 12:17 says the other half must remain. Paralleled by Daniel 11:32-35, Zechariah 14:1-2

It is obvious that you, like everyone, incl myself, have preconceived notions. Some are correct, some are false teachings and with the 'rapture' theory, there being no plain scripture saying that God will take us to heaven; it is false.
In Rev 12; Jesus comes out from the 'woman', that is ethnic Israel. We Christians are believers in Jesus and Paul says that makes us the spiritual Israel of God. Galatians 6:14-16
