This thread is nothing to do with that.

The only issue is whether the bible says man and his wisdom is too small to know about the beginning and end.
No, the OP has a misinterpretation of what the Bible says. That is what it is about. The OP mistakenly claims that we cannot know when the universe as we know it began based upon a poor interpretation.

So no man told you something and it is now gospel to you, while the bible is hated and doubted. Ok
The Bible is not being "hated and doubted." Your interpretation of the Bible is being dismissed as inadequate. Learn to tell the difference.

You think I hate the Bible? Why would you believe such a lie?

It is a common claim from extremists. If one does not agree with their personal interpretation of the Bible then you must hate the Bible. A rather illogical belief.

Quite a few. Most Christians believe that Jesus' return will signal the final judgement and the end of days.
Great, but He does return and take over the world. The way He does that involves a bloody take over, His garments stained in blood of enemies. The poster I responded to was mocking this and insinuating that those who long for His coming were some sort of monsters lusting after blood. That is blasphemy.

Catholic encyclopedia "Blasphemy (Greek blaptein, "to injure", and pheme, "reputation") signifies etymologically gross irreverence towards any person or thing worthy of exalted esteem ."

Some quotes from you in this thread..
About battle of Joshua in post post 437

"Never is difficult to obey a "kill" command, is it?

post 439

I can only suspect that the thrill of watching Jesus kill will be marred by the frustration of not being allowed to join in.

Which plan was that? The one that went sideways in Genesis and required Jesus to come down the first time, or the one from when Jesus came down a first time... which has apparently also gone sideways and now requires him to return... killing left and right?"

= Blasphemy

Where's the hatred? All throughout the Bible, God has ordered His followers to kill... when have they ever faltered?

I can only suspect that the thrill of watching Jesus kill will be marred by the frustration of not being allowed to join in.

That one's your glee and frustration... which has nothing to do with the Bible.

Truth. Genesis got thrown out of whack by a talking reptile... necessitating Jesus' first arrival...

He preached a message of peace and love... which even the people who claim to follow him claim to listen to... but don't. Thus necessitating another return... minus the peace and love.

This is what the Bible says has happened and will happen. If truth is "blasphemy," you need another god.

Your accusation of some imagined glee.

Isa 63:3 - I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.

Are you in support of Jesus doing this?

The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world had a plan all along actually. If Satan were not part of it he would not be allowed to be here.

You wouldn't be happy to see Jesus?

Better still, to see Jesus performing exactly as He is Biblically prophecised to do?

Why not?

Of course not -- I'm not a Christian.

Are you against him doing this? Is it somehow wrong for him to do it?

Sounds like in the end, Satan is working for God... so much for him being "evil."

Is that why he tempted Jesus in the wilderness?

Wasn't much of a temptation, was it?

1. An offer of some nice, dry bread to someone who's been in the "desert" -- when a glass of water would've done the trick.

2. Jump off the temple, let the angels save him. How exactly is this a "temptation"? Seems more like a challenge to me.

3. All the kingdoms of the world... or at least the ones he could see from the Quarantania. Only problem is, if Jesus really did believe he was the Son of God, he'd know he had all this anyway... in time. If he didn't, Satan would've had him two temptations ago.

You call that temptation? I call it amateur hour. I could've made better offers than those.

God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. It has to be done. We will be glad it is done.

?? You kidding?

Like a prisoner on a chain gang works for the state. Satan has limits as to what he can do. Also, his employment, besides being very conditional is temporary. We know he is getting the boot when the term is up.

It has to be done. We will be glad it is done.

See? You will be happy.

?? You kidding?

Nope, I was right. God will do it, and you'll cheer Him on... or else you're next.

Like a prisoner on a chain gang works for the state. Satan has limits as to what he can do.

Satan is a chain gang prisoner who works for God. God sets Satan's limits so that everything he does serves His purpose.

Also, his employment, besides being very conditional is temporary.

But for the moment, he's a useful employee.

We know he is getting the boot when the term is up.

God always gets rid of things when they're no longer useful to Him.

You're next.
