The Lord expects us to be Loyal to our friends and even our fathers friend. If people have helped you in the past - remember them in their time of need. If they need your support then support them even if they have wronged you at some point. Remember they helped you at your time of need. If you have fallen out with them - do not curse them or pray against them. Lift them up to the Lord in prayer.

Proverbs 3:3
Never let go of loyalty and faithfulness.

Proverbs 27:10
Don't forsake your friend and your father's friend.

I have actually fallen out with my uncle recently and although I have prayed for him I need to pray more. We argued because I brought up Christianity when he asked me not to. There's no grudges held now but we decided to keep our distance conversationally.

It can be tough witnessing to family and friends. If he's asked you not to bring it up then ask the Lord to send someone to him. I listen to Christian UCB radio in England which is pretty good ( mostly modern music with a few bible quotes thrown in and some testimonies. I have the radio on in the background & let it do the job for me. Call it passive evangelism;)

If you are not a good debater - then wait for an opportunity to pray for them - such as illness, major problem, etc. Ask them if they would like some prayer - they might refuse but you won't upset them as much as you would debating with them.

I asked the Lord to send someone to my mum who was spiritual. Within two weeks of saying that prayer she was attending church and she has never in her life attended church. She met an old lady in a village coffee morning and the old lady said she needed help getting to church and my mum volunteered to take her. Now she has been going to church every sunday for the last couple of months. Howzat !!!

All the best
