No offense but that seems a little judgemental if you ask me.
That's possible... but it didn't stop me from saying it.

Calling 99% of the posts on CF a result of mental illness is messed up.
The only number I cited was the one story I ever saw that I thought was credible. I make no claims for certain about the others which have been posted, whether I've read them or not.

My first ever introduction was Pigs in a Parlor. I have never read Screwtape letters, but Im hunting it down to give it a proper perusal.

So is Perelandra - Wikipedia ;part of a series, but I've only read this one. It addresses when spiritual warfare manifests in the physical...and how sometimes, we gotta hit back...physically.

I never understood how people that serve a living God in the metaphysical, that became a physical being, can then somehow mock the spiritual.

That's a good book. I recommend it for those with the gift of discernment.

You said you’ve only read one credible post on CF, discounting all the others. I’m not sure if me stating you don’t find 99% of the posts you’ve read as credible is somehow a bad numeric representation of what you’ve stated, not sure how else I could have re-stated what you said.

Example of what? There are many individuals that will outright ridicule any notion of spiritual warfare. Demonic possession. Miracles. I always wonder how than do they justify a virgin birth, or the resurrection of Christ if spiritual topics are foolish to them.

Ask the Lord to show them the truth and leave it there. The methods He utilizes might change their mind on the subject. Arguments and debates are pointless though sometimes that is the purpose of their retorts.

The greatest trick the devil pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.

I agree with this. Ephesians 6:10-17 is reality people.

It´s important to not over-spiritualise EVERYTHING though, as if your dog barking would be a sign of a demonic presence or something. Keep It biblical, pray and be vigilant for the devil indeed roams around...

Do you mind explaining further?

Simple, what is foolish to God? Walking on water? Raising the dead? Resurrection? Killing a thousand men with the jawbone of an ass? Getting swallowed by a whale? The limit of ones faith or understanding is not a limit on God. While I do not posses the faith to walk on water, I do not doubt for a second Jesus can call me to do so, and even succeed where I will fail without him. I also would most likely fail, flailing around, getting into the flesh and looking at the waves. But again, that is a measure of me, not God.

Even so, just because I myself have never walked on water, how can I say it is impossible? Nothing is impossible with God. Not only can God do it. He can so condition me that I will be able to accomplish the task at the very moment he says "come". My measure of faith is not even needed. My obedience to take a step is all that is required. God's got it. He can do it on his own.

This is how I veiw the spiritual aspects of Christianity. How can I believe a man is a liar because he believes his wife was healed, when I believe Lazarus was raised from the dead? Where is the carnal logic when considering the spiritual aspects of God? I believe a women was impregnated by a Holy Ghost, and gave birth as a virgin, to the word of God manifest in the flesh in the personage of Jesus, the Christ. Is that crazy? Maybe a little wack a doddle in the carnal sense and to worldly logic? It makes no earthly sense at all. Yet am I to judge a man that believes in the demonic?

How do you reconcile Christianity if you cannot believe in spiritual matters? To me, I believe many people just simply do not have the faith, so they believe anyone who does must be delusional.

Oh my, does this mean that the string of words together can never be used again, and that it cannot be applied here? And how does the actor's personal life have anything whatsoever to the lines scripted in a role he acted? It seems like every thread I see you on you're posting more nonsense.

I’m saying that the string of words is something that sounds great and insightful, but is not actually Biblical, is not actually referring to the devil, and is highly ironic given the person who said them’s off-screen life as a serial molester. Even ignoring the fact that it is about as spiritually sound as saying “may the Force be with you,” the fact that the person who uttered them talking about hidden devils is rich.

And no need to dive into insults because I brought it to your attention. Most people like being told that they’re quoting movies instead of scripture or that they’re quoting a line made iconic by a sexual predator as if it is spiritual knowledge.

Hi Family,

Do you believe too much attention is given to Spiritual Warfare or too little?

~Natsumi Lam~

This might put some perspective on it?

Well, here's the GDP spending on Military Defence for various Nations for 2017

610 Billion 3.1% GDP USA
66.3 Billion 4.3% GDP Russia
47.2 Billion 1.8% GDP UK
228 Billion 1.9 % GDP China

Just as some people join the military is it necessary for us all to be moving in this particular field?

Yes I believe. Many are moved only by what they see feel and hear. That is not where the battle is. We seem to forget Jesus said. In my name.. whats the 1st thing after that? Cast out demons.. Ask here..how many see this..or ever seen this. And then talk about a believers authority.. the WORD of God even tells us..1st 2nd 3rd heaven... anyway..

What the enemy loves is when a believer does not believe. As if that has some kind of power. Hang round Africa places like that.. most if not all here would be shocked at what they would see. Anyway..

I'm sorry you lost sleep over the quote, try and forget about it tonight. Make a prayer request so you Jesus can heal you. God bless.

There's a bigger picture to Satan and his minions. Suffering is needed to bring us to God. Some of us (the body of Christ) "got it" already but we can still stumble, and when we do, we are susceptible. Many are plagued by illness, both mental and physical in which demons are often involved.
Unbelievers are liable too, some have reconciled with God after discovering demons in their homes. I should clarify a point made earlier in the thread: it is possible for unbelievers to be delivered, however it's stated that the demons will return and with 7 friends. So it's only temporary and therefore not much point in delivering non-believers, they usually manifest as mental illness such as schizophrenia or a physical disease which most believers and no-believers alike will pass off as just that.
The demons actually help us through suffering to wake up to our sin. It's our job to monitor what's happening in our lives in relation to this, and how it pertains to our walk with God.
