What about deserved curses?
Proverbs 26:2. What if a curse is deserved?I have no idea what you mean by that, can you explain?
In regards to the things mentioned above. It doesn't matter what god, energy, or power they are worshiping or using. All these practices try to call upon or "manipulate" some power or energy to accomplish some goal or task. They are called various things and have various names. They are all demonic. The wiccan "god/goddess of the earth, wind, water, ect..."? A demon. Performing some voodoo hex? You are calling upon a demon to cause harm. Worshiping a pagan god? Worshiping a demon. Are you starting to understand the pattern? They are all demonic powers or entities that are being called or worshiped to achieve a goal. Even those who practice divination by using tarot cards, Ouija board, or other mediums to communicate with the dead or predict the future are demonic. After a person dies, their soul goes to either heaven or hell. There is no in-between. Demons are spiritual beings who can take any form they choose. They can appear benevolent and kind. Even Lucifer in his true form would be so beautiful that people could easily confuse him to be God. But he isn't. The point is that demons don't care what you believe as long as you don't believe in the one true God. Demons will even do rather nice things and perform healing miracles as long as God is not worshiped.Voodoo, witchcraft, Kabbalah, Wiccan, Paganism, it really doesn't matter. Their "power" is all through the same source. Demons. Demons have no power except what you and God allows.
In regard to rape and molestation, not all evil is demonic. There is deliberate evil that a person creates through their own volition, evil caused by demonic principalities and powers, systematic evil caused by organizations and governments, and even natural evil like tornadoes, famine, plagues, ect. So not all rape and molestation is caused by demons. I would argue that most are deliberate evil cause by fallen human beings who willfully chose to create it. But some may be caused by either someone under the direct control of a demon (possession) or by a demon influencing the actions of the human they are attached to. I believe these are found when rape and molestation are as part of some cultic ritual or practice. When someone is raped or molested because the perpetrator was trying to please some demonic power.Demonization due to rape and molestation and abuse. Thoughts?
See above. As in the demonic influences that ultimately bring their followers to rape and molest?
No, God does not influence it. He allows it. To say otherwise is to suggest that somehow God is powerless to stop or prevent it. That God is not omnipotent and sovereign. Because God is omnibenevolent, whatever evil God allows to a believer would be ultimately intended for a good purpose. Like allowing Jesus to be betrayed by Judas so that prophesy can be fulfilled and atonement for sin is achieved. Joseph is another example of God using evil for good purposes:You're saying God influences this to happen?
I agree. See above paragraph regarding the different types of evil. Some "powers" come from a human source with no demonic involvement.
Deliverance ministers regularly have to deal with demons associated with molestation and rape. This is also applicable .In regards to the things mentioned above. Genesis 50:19-21
"19 But Joseph said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? 20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. 21 So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children." And he reassured them and spoke kindly to them."
I agree. See above paragraph regarding the different types of evil.
I think the same source is called "fiction".
Apparently in Duet 18 God thinks its nonfiction.I think the same source is called "fiction".

Messing with the devil is not fiction at all, i don't know what kind of 'power' they can have to harm others, but sure they are harming themselves with this kind of thing, letting open door to evil spirits so they can make a mess of their spiritual health.
Satan doesnt have free reign. See Job. Also see Job for satans interviention. It says the an undeserved curse does not rest. What about a deserved curse??I don't think Duet 18 confirms any supernatural roots or summoning, but just the acts involved in it. Sorry, as i already pointed, there is no logical way for curses to be true because if it where then we'd be dead a long time ago.
The bible says spiritual warfare.the enemys other practices are an abomination. God takes them seriously.Sure, but voodoo, black magic, and all that is fiction. It's like with those egyptian and random primitive beliefs in extinct religions.. they believed non-existent gods like Ra has magic around some coin, that if you touch it you are cursed. There where ancient Egyptian rituals done to objects but at the end all it was all fiction in it;s source.
But why does this some up to black magic? Can't spiritual warfare being associated with something realistic, such as personal issues with sins such as lust, wrath, sloth, or whatever negative forms a lifestyles? The bible says spiritual warfare.the enemys other practices are an abomination. This has no connection to the point I made, and it actually clarifies more about these statements being more metaphorical than any confirmation of supernatural.Satan doesnt have free reign. See Job. We fight not against flesh and blood...but against principalities....But why does this some up to black magic? Can't spiritual warfare being associated with something realistic, such as personal issues with sins such as lust, wrath, sloth, or whatever negative forms a lifestyles?

You are waaayy off base
Hi Family,
Do you feel the enemy, through the use of Voodoo(i am being general), has any power?
Does God allow curses to rest on Christians?
As Spirit filled Christians, what can we do to protect ourselves?

Although there are exceptions (King Saul and Nebuchadnezzar for example) biblical "curses" are more consequential than supernatural. For example, "generational curses" are usually repercussions of the "sins of the father". For example, if I was an alcoholic who abused my children, it is likely that the emotional scars I left on my son would propel him to become an abusive alcoholic too. Generational blessings are the opposite. If I was a loving husband and father, the example that I set would likely be emulated by my children. In the Old Testament, curses were usually the byproducts of disobedience. Not necessarily a product of God's wrath. For example, if I were to say, "Thou shall not touch the hot stove with your bare hands." The "curse of burnt fingers" is a product of consequence, not wrath.I don't think Duet 18 confirms any supernatural roots or summoning, but just the acts involved in it. Sorry, as i already pointed, there is no logical way for curses to be true because if it where then we'd be dead a long time ago.

Just to clarify. I do believe in demonic activity. As a Catholic you are probably aware of the practice of exorcism. However, in regards to the crazy rituals like "hair in a pot" ext.. the rituals themselves have absolutely no power. The hair is just hair. The pot is just a pot. The words are just words. A "magic" crystal is just a shiny rock. The significance is not the items, it is the process of turning to a demon who will try to convince you that you have it under your control. If I were to use a gummy bear a part of some self imagined ritual to summon a demonic presence. I would almost guarantee you that somethin would manifest. Why? Not because the gummy bear, but because I asked and invited the demonic with a gummy bear. This i can agree with. Generational curses can also be explained scientifically (hereditary), your examples some that up. If we are talking about that, then yes i believe in that.
But stuff like opening up a book, putting someones hair in a pot, maybe a cat skull and then summoning some demon to do whatever.. that to me is a load of hogwash.
