Revelation: The Beast, False Prophet, Devil & LoF question

Why didn't God just throw the Devil into the LoF along with the Beast and False Prophet in Revelation 19:20?
Why make the Jews go thru another end time Armageddon like 70ad? Doesn't make sense, or am I missing something.

Rev 19:20
Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.
These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Rev 20:10
The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are.
And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Great question, I have no idea. If the Devil is the key problem why is it that the Antichrist and the False Prophet are unceremoniously cast into the lake of fire while the real perpetrator of the tribulation is allowed to be consigned to an abyss, only to be loosed on the world again briefly. Apparently God is patient, even with the Devil, not that he will ever repent of anything. I has to have something with God exposing sin at it's roots, which is all I can figure.

Very interesting Michael, and I suppose that is one way of looking at it.

According to Paul, the Jews get spanked first. Afterall, they got to hear the Gospel from Jesus first.
So maybe the Gentiles get spanked at the Gog Magog war after the 1000yrs........fascinating stuff nonetheless....

Paul attempted to reach out to them:

Act 18:6

“Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean.
From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”
Romans 2:23
Who in law are boasting through the transgression of the Law, the God thou are dishonoring
24 'For the name of the God is being blasphemed in the nations' because of ye 'according as it has been written'

Revelation 16
9 And the men are scorched greatly and they blaspheme the Name of the God the One having the authority upon these blows and not the repent <3340> to give glory to Him.
10 And the Fifth pours out His Bowl upon the throne of the Beast and became the Kingdom of it having been darkened and they gnawed<3145> their tongues out of the misery
11 And they blaspheme the God of the heaven out of their miseries and out of their sores and not they repent/reform out of their works.

The Jews are not going to go through another end time Armageddon like as Jesus's Second coming. Fire comes don't from heaven and destroys the Revelation 20:8 assembly before it ever gets to Israel.

The bottomless pit appears to be reserved for unclean spirits and fallen angels. So the false prophet and the beast as men would not be going there, as the reason why not, imo.

God had already judged both the false prophet and the beast because of the extensive evil of their works, and there was no reason to put their lifes up for examination like them at the Great White Throne judgement.

I found this interesting concerning Israel and the head and tail, both of which are mentioned in Revelation. A lot of OT Jewish/Hebrew symbology.

Deuteronomy 28:
13 ‘And Yahweh hath given thee for head, and not for tail; and thou hast been only above, and art not beneath,
for thou dost hearken unto the commands of Jehovah thy God, which I am commanding thee to-day, to keep and to do,
44 “He shall lend to you, but you shall not lend to him; he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail.

Palm branch and bulrush in one day.
15 The elder and honorable, he is the head;
The prophet who teaches lies, he is the tail.

Don't stars symbolize messengers/angels?

And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.

What I think reading through your post and the connections you are making, it is talking Satan and the fallen angels - the Dragon and a third of the stars.

And, imo, their kingdom is mystery Babylon the Great.

When Satan and his angels are kicked down to earth in Revelation 12:7-9, in the middle of the 7 years, that is the first step of God beginning dismantling Satan's mystical kingdom called Babylon the great, when the seventh trumpet sounds in Revelation 11:15.

Babylon the Great, responsible for all the sorrows of mankind.

In Revelation 18, Satan and his angels cast down to earth is Babylon is fallen, is fallen. Revelation 18 goes on to compare the fall of Satan's kingdom with a great trading city that suddenly meets it's demise, an allegory and real to Satan's kingdom, and the wealth of them who live by greed*.

It is basically talking about both the fall of Satan's kingdom, and the fall of all the wealth in world gained by greed, to happen in the second half of the 7 years.

In Revelation 19, them in heaven rejoice over the fall of Satan's mystical kingdom called Babylon the Great, as the kingdoms of this world are taken from Satan and his kingdom, and become the kingdoms of God and His Christ.

It's a bit of a strange one if we are interpreting the scriptures correctly.

Just think - there is a reign of a 1000 years. There is peace, harmony, etc for a 1000 years. God teaches the people himself for a 1000 years then the Devil is let loose again. Would he get a following at all or is the likely outcome that everyone reject him? Would Satan be cast into the fire knowing there is total rejection of him? Now that would be a fitting ending.

I think what I am saying - what is the purpose of the 1000 year period?
I'm not disagreeing with scripture here - just wondering what the point is.

Anyone born in the present age can try to justify his sins on the grounds that he was tempted by Satan or influenced by the circumstance in which he lived. Those born during the Millennium won't be tempted by Satan or experience any pressure from others to sin. The fact that many of them will follow Satan when he is released will show the inherent sinfulness of human nature. They will have no excuse for their actions. I believe the reason for Satan's release is to prove that our sinfulness is due to our natures and is not the result of some external pressure.

I think all those who are born during the millennium must be tested as we are.
