Iraq does not have nuke missiles, but Iran; who actually controls Eastern Iraq; does.
They intend to use them to clear the way for their ground troops, namely Hamas and Hezbollah. That will be their downfall; Jeremiah 49:35-36, Ezekiel 32:24-25
So where exactly is Biblical Shinar in today's terminology.I know Babel was in the land of Shinar. Is that Eastern Iraq?

It is as Wiki tells us: the Mesopotamia region, that includes Western Iran and Eastern Iraq. The exact boundaries of ancient Shinar are uncertain and Zechariah's prophecy just gives the general area.
Keras, read Zechariah 5:4 and ponder on this thought for a minute. If a nuclear bomb were to drop on a city, "everyone" within a 20 mile radius would be killed instantly. It does not discriminate nor distinguish who it'll kill. Everything and everyone in it's path will be destroy.
If you read my posts properly, you should know that I do not believe that any cities will be nuked. The Lord will not allow it in any part of the holy Land.
He will do as the prophesies plainly tell us: Destroy them at the moment of attack. Psalms 11:4-6 That is: the moment the red button is pressed to fire a nuke missile at Israel.
Read again, carefully this time; Psalms 83:13-18, Jeremiah 49:35-36

This was the photo I tried to upload in post 78.
HA! You know me too well.^_^ But you were not too far off topic.

Sometimes I see the same group of people constantly going of topic on your news thread debating one another. It disturbs me seeing people do that so I try to make an extra effort to respect your request.

Must you continue in this off topic discussion or do you not have anything to add in support of Bill Salus' theory on Psalm 83?

Keras, maybe YOU should read what you wrote. Tell me, did you not write these below about nuclear weapons?

Keras wrote:

Zechariah 5 is a prophecy about those nuke missiles from the land of Shinar.

Keras wrote:

are prepared for launching. At the moment the firing button is pressed, the EMP of a massive explosion on the sun will strike the area. The highly charged particles will cause the bombs and the missiles to explode on the ground. Psalms 11:4-6 says it clearly.

Now let's do this again. If a nuclear bomb were to explode in a city, "everyone" within a 20 mile radius would be killed instantly. It does not discriminate nor distinguish who it'll kill. Everything and everyone in it's path will be destroy.

In Zechariah 5:4, do you not see that only the thief and the liar will be destroy. How can this be an explosion from a nuclear bomb or any type of bomb? An explosion from a bomb will destroy everything and everyone in it's path. It doesn't go out seeking only liars and thieves to kill.

Zechariah 5:4 NKJV
4 "I will send out the curse," says the Lord of hosts; "It shall enter the house of the thief And the house of the one who swears falsely by My name. It shall remain in the midst of his house And consume it, with its timber and stones."

Zechariah 5 is NOT about bombs and nuclear weapons. When bombs explode, it does NOT kill only thieves and liars.

Let us know what it starts to sink in Keras. Please read everything carefully before replying.

What you and most don't understand is what the Lord will use on His Day of fiery wrath. It will be a Coronal Mass Ejection, an explosion of the suns surface, as is plainly told us in Isaiah 30:26a and supported by 100 other Bible prophesies.
The initial flash of light, seven times brighter than normal sunshine, will also be an Electro- Magnetic Pulse, that will destroy all electronic systems.
Whether this EMP will cause an armed nuke missile to explode or not, is immaterial, as it is clear from many other prophesies, incl Psalms 83, they will be wiped out, either from their own weapons, Psalms 11:4-6, Joel 3:4, Habakkuk 3:14, or by the main mass of superheated hydrogen plasma that will strike 24 hours later. 2 Peter 3:7

If this scenario doesn't suit your beliefs, then there is no use in any further discussion of what the Bible prophets have informed us about.
We will just wait, not too much longer now, for things to happen as God has decreed.

But there are those who like to disagree just for the sake of disagreeing.

Unfortunately this is true and correct and Paul warned about those in the church who frivolously quarrels in 1 Corinthians 3:1-4 and Hebrews 5:12-14.

1 Corinthians 3:1-4 New Living Translation (NLT)
3 Dear brothers and sisters, when I was with you I couldn’t talk to you as I would to spiritual people.I had to talk as though you belonged to this world or as though you were infants in Christ. 2 I had to feed you with milk, not with solid food, because you weren’t ready for anything stronger. And you still aren’t ready, 3 for you are still controlled by your sinful nature. You are jealous of one another and quarrel with each other. Doesn’t that prove you are controlled by your sinful nature? Aren’t you living like people of the world? 4 When one of you says, “I am a follower of Paul,” and another says, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you acting just like people of the world?

Hebrews 5:12-14 New Living Translation (NLT)
12 You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. 13 For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right. 14 Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong.

It's why it bothers be seeing people on this forum with a Christian tag below their avatar disrupting and derailing other people's threads. They're endangering themselves if they can figure out what Paul is telling us here. I'm happy you're not one still needing milk.

Well Keras, since you aren't able to stay on the topic of this thread: Psalm 83, let me help you. The way things are headed right now between Israel and the rest of the Arab world, the chances of Bill Salus' Psalm 83 theory finding it's fulfillment is less than slim to none. It is just not gonna happen anytime in the future.......at all.

Currently Israel is establishing ties with Arab countries in the Middle East one by one over the last two years. Eventually Israel and all the Arab Muslim countries throughout the Middle East minus Iran will be allies or have diplomatic ties by the first half of the tribulation. Only Turkey will break the peace treaty and align itself with Iran to invade Israel at the middle of the tribulation, Ezekiel 38.

Prophecies being fulfill below. The Arab world is befriending Israel and separating itself from Iran as Israel and Iran head closer to war. Quite the contrary from Bill Salus' theory about the Arab world attacking Israel in Psalm 83.

Heading into the Palestinian Peace treaty, Israel's first goal is to establish peace with the rest of the Arab nations (minus Iran) and then work on establishing peace with the Palestinians through the support from the rest of the Arab world. This is a strategy Netanyahu believes will work....and it will. It's in the bible.

Keras, did you know the "many" in Daniel 9:27 are in reference to the nations of the Arab world? They will be the ones pressuring the Palestinians and Turkey to agree upon the peace treaty with Israel.

Daniel 9:27 King James Version (KJV)
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Keras, did you also know when Turkey invades Israel in the middle of the tribulation in Ezekiel 38, Turkey will not only betray Israel but also the Arabs. Sheba and Dedan are Saudi Arabia in Israel conducting business alog with Lebanon (Tarshish). They too will be caught off guard by the invasion.

Ezekiel 38:12-13 King James Version (KJV)
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

All this peace with Israel minus Iran will make Bill Salus' theory pretty hard to materialize. It doesn't look like Israel is going to war with anyone soon except Iran, their sponsored terrorist puppets and Syria. So Keras, got anything to say about Bill Salus or his theory on Psalm 83 yet?

Why wasn't there an excitement going on here when Israel has attacked Iranian military base in Hama, Syria last night with the death of two Iranians? Not newsworthy enough? No immediate Iranian reaction? Interesting, you guys used to discuss this every time something happened militarily going on over there in the Middle East.

Well Keras, since you aren't able to stay on the topic of this thread: Psalm 83
Do you not realize that the great and terrible Day of the Lord's fiery wrath, IS the fulfilment of Psalms 83?
What else could that Day be? It doesn't relate to the Return in glory, when Jesus just destroys the armies at Armageddon.
Keras, did you know the "many" in Daniel 9:27 are in reference to the nations of the Arab world? They will be the ones pressuring the Palestinians and Turkey to agree upon the peace treaty with Israel.
What I do know is that the entire Middle East region, incl the Jewish State of Israel, will be no more after this forthcoming Day of the Lords fiery wrath. Ezekiel 30:1-5, and as Psalms 83:9-18 describes.
The peace treaty will be between the One World Govt and the new nation of Beulah. Isaiah 62:1-5, Daniel 11:32
Keras, did you also know when Turkey invades Israel in the middle of the tribulation in Ezekiel 38,
Gog, from Magog, from the furthest reaches of the North; Russia and its satellites, will be motivated to attack Beulah, a prosperous nation without defenses, before the 7 year treaty and the final 3 1/2 year Great Trib.
So Keras, got anything to say about Bill Salus or his theory on Psalm 83 yet?
Bill tries hard and does have some things right, but like every 'learned and wise' person today, the truth is hidden from them. Matthew 11:25, 1 Corinthians 1:19-20

Be aware that every good Muslim, is obligated to kill Jews wherever he sees one. So thinking that the Arabs have accepted Jews in what they consider their territory, is wishful thinking and only an example of Muslim 'Al Takkya', where they are allowed; no: told to lie to any non Muslim, to further the advance of the Caliphate.

What else could that Day be?

A impregatory prayer asking God to execute judgment against Israel's enemies. And there's many impregatory prayers in the bible that are not prophecies.

Imprecatory Psalms, contained within the Book of Psalms of the Hebrew Bible (תנ"ך), are those that invoke judgment, calamity, or curses, upon one's enemies or those perceived as the enemies of God. Major Imprecatory Psalms include Psalm 69 and Psalm 109, while Psalms 5, 6, 11, 12, 35, 37, 40, 52, 54, 56, 58, 79, 83, 137, 139, and 143 are also considered imprecatory (link to full text of Psalms). As a sample, Psalm 69:24 states toward God, "Pour out Your indignation on them, and let Your burning anger overtake them."

Imprecatory Psalms - Wikipedia

Psalm 83
"It is generally seen as a national lament provoked by the threat of an invasion of Israel by its neighbors."

"The psalm has been seen by some commentators as being purely cultic in nature. Others have indicated that the specific naming of particular nations indicates that it does refer to a specific historical period, even though the prayer itself would be offered in the Temple in Jerusalem.[3] The dating of the composition of the Psalm is debated, but the reference in verse 9 to Assyria is by many sources seen as an indication that the Psalm was written during the time of Assyrian ascendancy, the 9th to 7th centuries BC.[4] Others have placed the composition of the psalm between the time of Saul to the age of the Maccabees,[3] suggested by Theodore of Mopsuestia."

Psalm 83 - Wikipedia

What I do know is that the entire Middle East region, incl the Jewish State of Israel, will be no more after this forthcoming Day of the Lords fiery wrath. Ezekiel 30:1-5, and as Psalms 83:9-18 describes.

This is incorrect Keras. Israel and many Arab nations will continue to exist after the tribulation heading into the millennium. The only countries in the Middle East that will no longer exist are the ones Israel will annex from the Nile to the Euphrates, land that God had promised to Abraham and his descendants. Like many other scriptures, you're misreading Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 30.

Boy do you sound blatantly ignorant here, uninformed and uneducated. Times are changing and in the last two years, the "Arab" Muslim world is gradually embracing Israel one by one.

This Muslim has a lot of clout and influences over the entire Middle East region and the Muslim all over the world. When he speaks, Muslims listen.

Saudi Prince Says Israelis Have Right to ‘Their Own Land’
Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has adopted a distinctly warmer tone toward Israel, seeing it as an attractive regional economic and technological hub as well as a potential partner in the kingdom’s cold war with Iran.

Saudi Arabia’s powerful crown prince has said that Israelis “have the right to have their own land” and that formal relations between Israel and the kingdom could be mutually beneficial.

The comments by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in an interview published on Monday reflected the distinctly warmer tone toward Israel adopted recently by the de facto ruler of a powerful Arab country that once opposed Israel’s right to exist.

Saudi Arabia and Israel still have no formal relations, and Saudi leaders have historically criticized the Jewish state for its treatment of the Palestinians and for limiting access to Muslim holy sites in Jerusalem.

But the kingdom’s stance toward Israel has changed with the rise of Prince Mohammed, who is 32 and is seeking to overhaul Saudi Arabia’s economy and its place in the world. His words on Monday were actually less harsh toward the Palestinians than reports of his previous statements.

Instead of seeing Israel as an enemy, Prince Mohammed has come to view the Jewish state as an attractive regional economic and technological hub as well as a potential partner in the kingdom’s cold war with Iran. And part of that is recognizing Israel’s right to exist, preferably in the context of a peace deal with the Palestinians.

“I believe that each people, anywhere, has a right to live in their peaceful nation,” Prince Mohammed told Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic. “I believe the Palestinians and the Israelis have the right to have their own land. But we have to have a peace agreement to assure the stability for everyone and to have normal relations.”

The establishment of formal relations, he said, would benefit both nations, and their neighbors.

“Israel is a big economy compared to their size and it’s a growing economy, and of course there are a lot of interests we share with Israel — and if there is peace, there would be a lot of interest between Israel and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and countries like Egypt and Jordan,” he said.

Prince Mohammed has a close relationship with the Trump administration, and especially with the president’s son-in-law and adviser, Jared Kushner, whom the president has deputized to try to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The details of Mr. Kushner’s peace plan have yet to be released, but it is widely believed that they are being coordinated with Prince Mohammed to try to get buy-in from the wider Arab world.

Small signs of a thaw between Israel and the kingdom have emerged recently. Saudi Arabia allowed a commercial airline flight to Israel to pass through its airspace last month, and many in the region suspect that covert contacts between the two countries have grown, although the kingdom denies this.

Reflecting a divide in the Saudi leadership over how to approach Israel, Prince Mohammed’s father, King Salman, emphasized Palestinian rights in a phone call with Mr. Trump, the Saudi state news service said on Tuesday.

The king restated “the kingdom’s steadfast position towards the Palestinian issue and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital,” the king said. He made no mention of Israel.

In the interview, Prince Mohammed also played down the extent of anti-Semitism in Saudi society, which has historically been reinforced by government clerics and textbooks.

“Our country doesn’t have a problem with Jews,” Prince Mohammed said, adding that the Prophet Muhammad married a Jewish woman and that many Jews work in the kingdom.

But like Christians and followers of other non-Islamic faiths, they have not been allowed to build houses of worship or to practice their religion openly.

Keras, who do you see joining Turkey and Iran in the Ezekiel 38 coalition that invades Israel during the middle of the tribulation?

Ezekiel 38:5 King James Version (KJV)
Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

Ethiopia and Libya are not "Arab" Muslims. In Israel's next war, Iran will lose many of it's Arab allies and the rest of the Arab world will not align with Iran except Turkey who will break the covenant during the mid point.

The Arab world embracing Israel is unprecedented and prophecy in the making.

Gog, from Magog, from the furthest reaches of the North; Russia and its satellites, will be motivated to attack Beulah, a prosperous nation without defenses, before the 7 year treaty and the final 3 1/2 year Great Trib.

This is funny Keras. You're just so easily taken in by all these man-made theories. Written any bestselling bible prophecy study guide promoting these theories lately? That's a joke Keras, laugh a little.

But on a serious note, Russia will never invade Israel while Netanyahu and Putin are respected leaders of their countries. There's no evidence anywhere in the bible predicting a Russian invasion of Israel, it's just utter nonsense and a false teaching originating from the West to slander America's enemies.

Islamic 'Sultan' Rising: Why Turkey's Plan to Destroy Israel Could Line Up with End Times Prophecy

Throughout Israel's history, it's always been Muslims that has invaded Israel. Russian is a Christian nation. There is no evidence anywhere in the bible that speaks of Israel being invaded by Christians or Christian nation in the end times. All prophecies points to only Muslim nations.

Now Keras, put on your thinking cap for one minute and pay attention. Read Ezekiel 38:2, the word Rosh is not listed in the KJV.

Ezekiel 38:1-2 King James Version (KJV)
1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

Well now, if Rosh is not in Ezekiel 38 in the KJV - and many other translations - than Russia must not be in this prophecy because many who claim Russia will invade Israel in Ezekiel 38 say Rosh sounds like Russia.

They keep saying to themselves Rosh, Russia...Rosh, Russia...Rosh, Russia!

The fact is Rosh is not Russia. In the Hebrew it means the leader. The word Rosh is also used in Rosh Hashanah. Keras, I don't think Rosh Hashanah is a Russian holiday.

Bill tries hard and does have some things right, but like every 'learned and wise' person today, the truth is hidden from them. Matthew 11:25, 1 Corinthians 1:19-20

But Bill is more accurate than what you're teaching. Haha! It's a joke Keras.

We know from Ezekiel 38 that Israel will be at peace when that conflict begins. I am wondering if there will have been another prior conflict in which Israel won new territory.

Well now that I don't have people disagreeing with me just for the sake of disagreeing, I can now talk about something I do agree very much with Bill Salus on and answer your question above.

Bill Salus came out with a book back around 2008 titled Isralistine. In his book, he wrote about a war prior to Ezekiel 38 in which countries that share a common border immediately surrounding Israel will invade the Jewish state but will ultimately be defeated. It wasn't a popular theory and Bill received a lot of criticism. In his reply, Bill writes a new book: Psalm 83 in response to his critics as you can see in this video.

First off, I want to commend Bill on his book and theory in Isralistine. He is absolutely correct, biblically correct. Because his theory actually is in the bible as I will show below.

There is a coming war involving Israel with her neighbors, countries sharing an immediately common border. It's in the bible, but it's not in Psalm 83, that's the wrong scripture. It's evidence when you look at the coalition of countries listed in Psalm 83. It doesn't match who Israel is currently fighting and who are her allies. So basically Bill's got it right in his first book Isralistine, but unsuccessfully tied in his theory to the correct scripture in his second book Psalm 83.

The correct bible scripture prophesying a war between Israel and her surrounding neighbors just before the 7 year tribulation begins is found in Psalm 118 and Isaiah 26. And both are parallel scriptures as both speaks of a war involving Israel just before the start of the tribulation, being surrounded from all sides.

Psalm 118:5-28 NKJV
5 I called on the Lord in distress; The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place.
6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
7 The Lord is for me among those who help me; Therefore I shall see my desire on those who hate me.
8 It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man.
9 It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in princes.
10 All nations surrounded me, But in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
11 They surrounded me, Yes, they surrounded me; But in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
12 They surrounded me like bees; They were quenched like a fire of thorns; For in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
13 You pushed me violently, that I might fall, But the Lord helped me.
14 The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation Is in the tents of the righteous; The right hand of the Lord does valiantly.
16 The right hand of the Lord is exalted; The right hand of the Lord does valiantly.
17 I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the Lord.
18 The Lord has chastened me severely, But He has not given me over to death.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go through them, And I will praise the Lord.
20 This is the gate of the Lord, Through which the righteous shall enter.
21 I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my salvation.
22 The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone.
23 This was the Lord's doing; It is marvelous in our eyes.
24 This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Save now, I pray, O Lord; O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity.
26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! We have blessed you from the house of the Lord.
27 God is the Lord, And He has given us light; Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar.
28 You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, I will exalt You.

From verses 10-12, it speaks of a prophecy in which Israel is involve in a war against enemies from all sides. This prophecy about a coming war is consistent with the news we are seeing today. We are at that time right now when Israel is on the brink of war with it's immediate surrounding neighboring countries: Hezbollah from the northwest, Assad's regime from the northeast, Hamas from the west at the Gaza, the Palestinians from the east, and currently Israel and Egypt are in an alliance secretly fighting ISIS in the Sinai peninsula in the south. And you can see it happening in the news today.

This will be Israel's final war before the tribulation in which she will eliminate her enemies in the immediate surround countries that shares a common border with her. This war is a prelude to Ezekiel 38 that will occur in the tribulation when Gog and his army will invade at a time when Israel is living in peace dwelling securely.

From verses 19-22, Israel begins construction on the 3rd Temple. This will happen sometimes either during the war or immediately after the war and during the coming Israel-Palestinian Peace Treaty.

When the construction begins, nobody in the world will miss witnessing this major event. It will be like May 14, 1948 when the world saw a nation born in one day. It'll be all over the news, an event no one will miss.

This prophecy about a coming temple is consistent with the news we are seeing.

If the articles below are accurate and Israel retain sovereignty over the Temple Mount, nothing will stop them from building a 3rd temple, immediately.

Israel would retain sovereignty over the Old City and its immediate environs, the Temple Mount and the Western Wall, but it would be administered together with the Palestinians, Jordanians and perhaps other countries.

There's also the possibility the construction of the 3rd temple will precede the finalization of the peace plan between Israel and the Palestinians. I don't know the correct chronology, but these events will be happening in the near future.

In verse 26, Jesus returns coming for the church. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! The church gets rapture and the 7 year tribulation begins here.

The construction of the Temple precedes the return of Christ. When you see the temple under construction, then you know it's as imminent as it gets.
The Psalm 118 prophecy of Israel's next war with her bordering neighbors is also confirmed in Isaiah 26. It reveals Israel at war and will be victorious and will expand her borders in all directions - a war on all fronts (Isaiah 26:12-18). After the war, Jesus comes to rapture the church (Isaiah 26:19) follow by Daniel's 70th week (Isaiah 26:21).

Isaiah 26:12-21 NKJV
12 Lord, You will establish peace for us, For You have also done all our works in us.
13 O Lord our God, masters besides You Have had dominion over us; But by You only we make mention of Your name.
14 They are dead, they will not live; They are deceased, they will not rise. Therefore You have punished and destroyed them, And made all their memory to perish.
15 You have increased the nation, O Lord, You have increased the nation; You are glorified; You have expanded all the borders of the land.
16 Lord, in trouble they have visited You, They poured out a prayer when Your chastening was upon them.
17 As a woman with child Is in pain and cries out in her pangs, When she draws near the time of her delivery, So have we been in Your sight, O Lord.
18 We have been with child, we have been in pain; We have, as it were, brought forth wind; We have not accomplished any deliverance in the earth, Nor have the inhabitants of the world fallen.
19 Your dead shall live; Together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust; For your dew is like the dew of herbs, And the earth shall cast out the dead.
20 Come, my people, enter your chambers, And shut your doors behind you; Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, Until the indignation is past.
21 For behold, the Lord comes out of His place To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; The earth will also disclose her blood, And will no more cover her slain.

In summary, both Psalm 118 and Isaiah 26 are prophecies revealing Israel at war with her neighboring countries just before the start of the tribulation. Israel will then be at peace for 3.5 years during the first half. Israel's final war will be in the middle of the tribulation when Gog and her allies invades in Ezekiel 38.

Psalm 118 / Isaiah 26 is a prelude war between Israel and Iran setting the stage for Ezekiel 38, the second and final battle between Israel and Iran.
