The "millennium" as held by physical kingdom buffs is a false doctrine without mention in the gospels or epistles.

This is not true. The 1000 years of Revelation 20 = the binding of Satan. They are not the kingdom. Satan attacks the kingdom when loosed.

The coming ‘day’ will be a day of great reversals. "Our God shall come and shall not keep silence." The great powers will be humbled and Israel, now despised, will be exalted. The mighty cities of the world will be levelled to the dust, and Jerusalem will become "the, joy of the whole earth." Jesus said the kingdom is spiritual. You must adjust the Old Testament to that, and not the other way around.

While it is true that Satan will be bound during the first thousand years after Christ returns to earth, look at the bolded words in the verse below to see what is also true of that time.

Re 20:4 - And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Re 5:10 - And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

That our Lord will be once more in this scene in person may seem strange, but it is certain. Men try and evade the plain meaning of words, or postpone indefinitely their fulfillment, but the words of the heavenly messengers could not be more precise. “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:” (Ephesians 2:6)

This is happening now. You cannot be the body of Christ and not be seated with him in heaven presently.

He (Jesus) went personally, visibly, suddenly. He will return personally, visibly, suddenly. His feet left the Mount of Olives when He ascended to heaven. His feet will stand on that self-same Mount when He returns. This will be not, as some teach, at the end of man's millennium, when the world will have become such a paradise without Him as to constrain Him to return, but before the millennium when all nations shall mourn because of His return. "Every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him" (Rev. 1: 7). His personal presence is needed and it is assured. "I will overturn, overturn, overturn it: and it shall be no more, until He come whose right it is; and I will give it Him." This is happening now. You cannot be the body of Christ and not be seated with him in heaven presently.

We shall rule with Him on earth, and we will be in heavenly places in New Jerusalem. One does not exclude the other.

So, you discount the plain teachings of the coming Kingdom on earth in the OT and in Revelation? It is, after all; what we pray for.....Thy Kingdom come on earth....

Only in the new heaven and earth. Jesus said his kingdom is not of this world.

This is what the dabate is all about

His glory will then be manifested, He will come to reign. Not that He will of necessity be continuously on the earth. He will reign over as well as on it.* But communication will once more be established between heaven and earth. The true Jacob's ladder will be set up and "the angels of God will be seen ascending and descending upon the Son of Man." He will be the centre. His glory, His mighty deeds, His divine wisdom will fill the earth. His dominion will stretch from sea to sea. To Him all kings shall bow and gifts. All nations shall serve Him and daily shall He be praised.

Here is a truth seldom heard today. All "accounted worthy" to be given authority to reign at that time will be "like the angels". That is, able to rule in both heavenly and earthly spheres of the coming Kingdom: Luke 20: 36 .... Link
