I have to go and listen to what Bill Salus has to say. I will get back with you.

Take your time. I'll wait a few days before revealing it to give you some time to investigate. I think you'll find it interesting.

Funny. The evidence is there that you can use search for it under this thread. Happy hunting.

You're not understanding me. The only reason why I suggested you provide some type of evidence in the first place was because I had already read your posts. There's nothing there! Besides, I don't think anyone is buying your story. Telling someone else to go dig up evidence is a typical argument one would use to cover up for a lack of evidence.

Oh? You did read my posts? Well, I suppose you are right, there is no evidence because you have not quoted my post you claimed you have read and prove my position wrong. Either you quote it, or you are lying. Try again.

I already explained it earlier. Look it up.
I reject your 'explanation'.
I believe Psalms 83's clear narrative will happen as stated. You believe something different and have totally failed to support your case.
Demonstrated by your avoidance in answering Seville.
We do not have to prove your position wrong; the Bible does that and your accusation of lying, in #65, shows your true colors.

Re; Bill Salus. He is another who confuses the timing of Psalms 83 and the G/M attack. He fails to see how the Lord will win both attacks before a shot is fired.

I assume that you actually DID read my posts that Seville either has missed or refuse to read, have you? Regardless, you are not required to like my explanation that I quoted with Scripture. That is the Holy Spirit's job.

I believe Psalms 83's clear narrative will happen as stated.

That is your prerogative. All I can say about this is that you will be disappointed.

You believe something different and have totally failed to support your case.

Nah... not based on Scripture I quoted... therefore, the Lord Judges and I am comfortable with it.

We do not have to prove your position wrong; the Bible does that and your accusation of lying, in #65, shows your true colors.

I did not see that you have used the Bible to refute my position yet. Regardless, people like you who insist that Psalm 83 is to be understood as a specific war, whether distinct from the Battle of Gog of Magog, or other so-called wars of the Antichrist, base their view on a series of inferences and assumptions.

There's no need to quote your posts, there's nothing there. It's just a big emotional rant with some "I believe" theories tossed in. Not what I call evidence. No need to prove you wrong either till you're able to prove yourself right. A post filled with "I believe" bah bah this and that is not evidence.

Not trying to hijack the topic of Psalm 83 with the video titled Ezekiel 38. Bill is just giving his opinion on the differences between Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38 since many think are the same event.

That is ok. This is good showing plainly that these are separate events involving different motivations and different players.

Here's the current situation in the middle east involving Israel's military confrontations. Currently Israel is fighting against the government of Iran, the government of Syria (Bashar al-Assad), Hamas the palestinian terrorist group in the Gaza, Hezbollah the lebanese terrorist group in Lebanon, and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad a Palestinian terrorist group in the west bank. However, a separate topic, Israel is also currently fighting ISIS in the Sinai aiding Egypt to eliminate their terrorist threats. I think many people here already know Israel is currently fighting these enemies so I won't posts articles as evidence making this post longer than what it is.

However I'm not sure how many people knew all these terrorist groups are sponsored, aided, funded and armed by Iran. It is because of Iran, Israel has been at war with neighboring countries that share a common border with Israel for decades.

Iran and state-sponsored terrorism - Wikipedia

Iran and state-sponsored terrorism

Since the Iranian Revolution in 1979, the government of Iran has been accused by several countries, including the United States, of funding, providing equipment, weapons, training and giving sanctuary to terrorists.[1] Iran has been accused of training, financing, and providing weapons and safe havens for non-state militant actors, such as Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, and other Palestinian groups (Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC)). These groups are designated terrorist groups by a number of countries and international bodies; however, Iran considers such groups to be "national liberation movements" with a right to self-defense in the face of Israeli military occupation.[2] The United States State Department has also accused Iranian-backed Iraqi Shia militias of terrorism against US troops, and Iran of cyberterrorism, primarily through its Quds Force.[3]

Palestinian Islamic Jihad

Palestinian Islamic Jihad
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad is an Iranian-inspired Islamic militant group that aims to derail the Israeli-Palestinian peace process and eliminate Israel from the region.

Haley: Iran is the 'common thread' in Mideast violence

Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, lashed out at Iran on Tuesday, calling the country the "common thread" that connects violent incidents in the Middle East.

Before I continue any further, I just wanna say I'm not posting this to prove anyone wrong on this forum or wish to engage in a debate. This is just something I've been watching and noticed about Israel's situation. We are told to keep an eye on Israel and watch diligently for His return, and be watchmen on the wall to sound the alarm to others when necessary. You guys don't have to agree with me, but Ill share this with every reader and
let you decide for yourself what you agree upon concerning the theory of Psalm 83.

Here's a list of modern day people and nations based on Bill Salus' interpretation that describes the Psalm 83 confederacy taken from the link below.

Psalm 83, What IT IS, and What it IS NOT – Part One

ps.-83-chart.png

When you look at this list, does anyone notice Iran is not listed in the Psalm 83 coalition? It's not there. You don't see their ancient names Persia or Elam listed in Psalm 83, but we do see Persia invading Israel listed in Ezekiel 38. If Israel's next war involves fighting Iran, which is highly likely given the current situation, it makes it very hard for me to swallow Bill Salus' theory.

The next thing you'll probably notice is nearly half the people and nations listed in Psalm 83 are currently either allies, have a relationship established, have a dialogue established or is neutral with Israel. Meaning they're currently not at war against Israel so Psalm 83 cannot be imminent until everyone on that list becomes an enemy of Israel first.

Egypt and Jordan currently have a peace treaty with Israel and are diplomatic allies.

Egypt–Israel Peace Treaty - Wikipedia

The Egypt–Israel Peace Treaty (Arabic: معاهدة السلام المصرية الإسرائيلية‎, Mu`āhadat as-Salām al-Misrīyah al-'Isrā'īlīyah; Hebrew: הסכם השלום בין ישראל למצרים‎, Heskem HaShalom Bein Yisrael LeMitzrayim) was signed in Washington, D.C., United States on 26 March 1979, following the 1978 Camp David Accords. The Egypt–Israel treaty was signed by Egyptian president Anwar Sadatand Israeli prime minister Menachem Begin, and witnessed by United States presidentJimmy Carter.[1]

Israel–Saudi Arabia relations - Wikipedia

Israel and Saudi Arabia do not have any official diplomatic relations. However, news reports have surfaced indicating extensive behind-the-scenes diplomatic and intelligence cooperation between the countries, in pursuit of mutual goals against regional enemy Iran.[1][2][3] At the same time, the Saudi relationship with the Palestinian National Authority and Mahmoud Abbas is deteriorating.[4]

Saudi remarks on Israel signal key shift

Israel and Saudi Arabia: The relationship emerging into the open

Whatever may be happening behind the scenes, a complex system of public signalling is under way between Saudi Arabia and Israel. And Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's recent comments to US magazine The Atlantic should be seen very much in this light.

Asked if he believes that the Jewish people have a right to a nation-state in at least part of their ancestral homeland, the crown prince - in effect the day-to-day ruler of Saudi Arabia - said: "I believe that each people, anywhere, has a right to live in their peaceful nation. I believe the Palestinians and the Israelis have the right to have their own land.

"But," he went on, "we have to have a peace agreement to assure the stability for everyone and to have normal relations."

Israel and Saudi Arabia – A secret Middle East alliance

Israel and Saudi Arabia – A secret Middle East alliance

A Swiss newspaper, Basler Zeitung, reported recently that a secret alliance between Israel and Saudi Arabia aimed at restraining Iran’s imperial desire for a land mass between Tehran and the Mediterranean was moving into a new phase. While there aren’t formal diplomatic ties between the two countries, military cooperation does exist. In fact, the Saudi government sent a military delegation to Jerusalem several months ago to discuss Iran’s role as a destabilizing force in the region.

What is behind the covert Israeli-Saudi relations?

What is behind the covert Israeli-Saudi relations?

Israel and Saudi Arabia may seem unlikely allies in regional politics but recent developments have pushed Riyadh and Tel Aviv closer together, setting the stage for the Middle East's strangest bedfellows.

The covert ties between Israel and Saudi Arabia, based on an alliance against the "common threat" of Iran, are part of a new regional paradigm, analysts say.

Iraq currently does not have a peace treaty with Israel but has very recently established covert dialogue pursuing diplomatic ties.

In summary, Iran is not in the coalition of Psalm 83. While half of the people and countries in Psalm 83 are currently friendly towards Israel with relationships getting better, not worst. Does this seem unusual to anyone else? However, Bill Salus does has a good point elsewhere concerning his theory. Considering how long this post has been, I just don't know if anyone wants to go into a deeper examination.

In summary, Iran is not in the coalition of Psalm 83.
But they are, thru their proxies.
Iran is powerfully motivated by Satan to destroy the Jews. They have nuke missiles for only that reason.
Things are heating up, with the RCGG army being declared a terrorist organization. They are as mad as cut cats over Israel bombing their assets in Syria.
Zechariah 5 is a prophecy about those nuke missiles from the land of Shinar. [South western Iran] They WILL try to launch them, when the time is right and the result will be as Psalms 83:13-18, Psalms 11:4-6, Jeremiah 49:35-37

But they are
Iran is not in the list of nations or people in the Psalm 83 confederates. Read it for yourself. It's not listed under Bill Salus' list nor God's list.

ps.-83-chart.png

Psalm 83:6-8 King James Version (KJV)
6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.

Any hostile confrontation by Iran towards Israel either directly through military intervention or indirectly via proxy would discredit and invalidate Bill Salus' theory on Psalm 83 since Iran is clearly not listed in the Psalm 83 confederacy.

In other words, Israel's next war cannot be Psalm 83 if Israel is also fighting Iran!

It's highly unlikely Bill Salus' theory will ever materialize when you look at the near future prophecies concerning Israel, Egypt and the a/c. The a/c will confirm the covenant with Israel and many for one week in Egypt. Daniel 9:27 cannot be fulfilled if Egypt is at war against Israel because Israel and the a/c will finalize the Daniel 9:27 covenant down in Egypt. Isaiah 30:2, Isaiah 28:15-18. Isaiah 19:21-25. Therefore, Psalm 83 and Daniel 9:27 cannot both be imminent at the same time. Only one is imminent, the other is just someone's theory.

We are currently on the threshold of the final 7 years. Without Egypt in the confederacy, Bill Salus' theory on Psalm 83 is not possible. Once the covenant is set in place, the tribulation soon begins and Israel is at peace the entire first half (not possible Psalm 83 can happen here). While at the same time, Egypt gets invaded and destroy by Iran during the first half (not possible Psalm 83 can happen here either). Without Egypt in the picture and while Israel dwells in peace until the AoD, it's just not possible Psalm 83 can ever materialize. At the middle of the tribulation, Iran invades and destroys Jerusalem during the AoD and the rest of Israel soon after. It's just not possible Bill Salus' theory on Psalm 83 can be a future prophecy when taking other prophecies into consideration.

Zechariah 5 is a prophecy about those nuke missiles from the land of Shinar. [South western Iran] They WILL try to launch them, when the time is right and the result will be as Psalms 83:13-18, Psalms 11:4-6, Jeremiah 49:35-37

You have the wrong scripture Keras, or you're misreading it. Zechariah 5 has nothing to do with nuke missles from Shinar.

I would also say shame on Handmaid for marking "agree" to an error before investigating.

Zechariah 5 New Living Translation (NLT)
1 I looked up again and saw a scroll flying through the air.
2 “What do you see?” the angel asked.
“I see a flying scroll,” I replied. “It appears to be about 30 feet long and 15 feet wide.”
3 Then he said to me, “This scroll contains the curse that is going out over the entire land. One side of the scroll says that those who steal will be banished from the land; the other side says that those who swear falsely will be banished from the land. 4 And this is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: I am sending this curse into the house of every thief and into the house of everyone who swears falsely using my name. And my curse will remain in that house and completely destroy it—even its timbers and stones.”
5 Then the angel who was talking with me came forward and said, “Look up and see what’s coming.”
6 “What is it?” I asked. He replied, “It is a basket for measuring grain, and it’s filled with the sins of everyone throughout the land.”
7 Then the heavy lead cover was lifted off the basket, and there was a woman sitting inside it. 8 The angel said, “The woman’s name is Wickedness,” and he pushed her back into the basket and closed the heavy lid again.

9 Then I looked up and saw two women flying toward us, gliding on the wind. They had wings like a stork, and they picked up the basket and flew into the sky.
10 “Where are they taking the basket?” I asked the angel.
11 He replied, “To the land of Babylonia, where they will build a temple for the basket. And when the temple is ready, they will set the basket there on its pedestal.”

You have the wrong scripture Keras, or you're misreading it. Zechariah 5 has nothing to do with nuke missles from Shinar.
Zechariah’s barrel:
In Zechariah 5:1-11, the prophet tells us about a large barrel shaped object that flies in our atmosphere and is situated on the place prepared for it, in the land of Shinar.
It is referred to as a curse, that will sweep away every criminal and false religion worshipper as well as demolish their houses.

This mysterious object, or objects, has a lead cover and from their size and effects, we can discern they are nuclear missiles. Shinar is the ancient name for the fertile area of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, which includes Elam; now part of Iran.
So, right now, in our day, we have this prophecy coming true. Iran has the technology to build these weapons and the motivation to use them against Israel.
But we who study the Prophetic Word, know the Lord will not allow this to happen and He will destroy the chief weapon of their strength. Jeremiah 49:35

Deuteronomy 32:34-35 & 43 I have sealed up in My storehouse, punishment against My enemies, till the Day of vengeance and wrath, at the moment their foot slips. [make a mistake] For the Day of their downfall is near, their doom is fast approaching. the Lord will punish those who hate Him and cleanse His peoples Land.

Isaiah 2:21 On that Day, the Lord will arise and strike the world with terror.

Jeremiah 4:20 Crash follow crash, for the whole land goes down in ruin.

Isaiah 66:6 The noise and distress that you hear, is the Lord dealing retribution to His foes. Revelation 6:12-17

Psalms 110:1-6 In glorious majesty He judges the nations, shattering heads throughout the wide earth. Luke 21:35

Judgement of fire A coronal mass ejection sunstrike; Isaiah 30:26a

Malachi 4:1 The Day comes, burning like a furnace, all arrogant evildoers will be as stubble, they will be destroyed in a fiery blaze. 2 Peter 3:7

Isaiah 29:5-6 Suddenly, in an instant, punishment will come, storms, earthquakes and a flame of devouring fire. Zephaniah 3:8

Isaiah 66:16 The Lord will judge with fire and sword, many will be slain by Him.

Ezekiel 21:28 A sword of slaughter will flash like lightening. Matthew 24:29

Isaiah 10:17-19 Sudden destruction. As sudden as someone falling in a fit.

Psalms 21:8-9 Your hand will reach all Your enemies, all who hate You. In Your anger, You will engulf them as in a fiery furnace and fire will consume them.

Destroyed at the moment of attack:
Amos 5:9 He makes destruction flash forth against the mighty.

Habakkuk 3:14 You pierce their leaders with Your arrows, they are swept away by a whirlwind as they open their jaws to secretly devour their victims.

Psalms 37:12-15 The wicked have drawn their swords and strung their bows, to slaughter the righteous. Their weapons will cut their own hearts and their bows will be shattered.

Psalms 7:12-16 The enemy prepares to attack, he has conceived mischief and given birth to lies. He has dug a deep pit, but he himself will fall into it.

Psalms 9:15-17 The wicked are trapped in their own devices. The wicked depart to Sheol, all the nations who are heedless of the Lord.

The scenario:
Nuclear tipped missiles are prepared for launching. At the moment the firing button is pressed, the EMP of a massive explosion on the sun will strike the area. The highly charged particles will cause the bombs and the missiles to explode on the ground. Psalms 11:4-6 says it clearly.

That was actually a joke. I take it you weren't laughing when reading what I wrote. However it's still wrong though. It's not a proxy war. Both Israel and Iran are "directly" fighting each other in Syria making it a conventional war under the code name "Operation Chess". That's why I linked the video as evidence.

Iran is listed in Operation Chess, not in Psalm 83.

The bible when naming people and places is very precise and specific in detail. The land of Shinar is in the area of Iraq. This prophecy has nothing to do with Iran. If so, God would use Persia instead of Shinar.

Daily Bible Study - The Land of Shinar

The Land of Shinar
by Wayne Blank

The Land of Shinar was a general geographic term for what is today Iraq, known in ancient times as Mesopotamia (see also Bible Places). There, two of the greatest of ancient empires, Assyria and Babylon, were centered (see Ancient Empires - Assyria and Ancient Empires - Babylon). Shinar is mentioned very early in Bible History, it being the location of the famous "tower of Babel" that was constructed after the Flood.

Shinar - Encyclopedia of The Bible - Bible Gateway

II. Identification. The reference to known Babylonian cities within Shinar (Gen 10:10; 11:2) and the equation with Babylon of the Exile (Dan 1:2) makes the identification with Babylonia almost certain. In this way the LXX read “Babylonia” in Isaiah 11:11 and “land of Babylon” in Zechariah 5:11. No undisputed equivalent of the Heb. shīn’ar has, however, yet been found in early texts from Babylonia itself, since a spelling šim/nğar has not been attested. Sumer, which is the name for the area of ancient Iraq S of Baghdad in the eme.-ku dialect (written ki.en.gi[r] ideographically or keñir in fine Sumer. speech [eme.sal dialect]). The northern part of ancient Babylonia was called Akkad. The term Sumer, used since 2350 b.c.for the land, is today used to describe the whole of ancient Babylonia before the Sem. dynasty at Babylon took control and for its inhabitants.

nimrod-kingdom.gif

This mysterious object, or objects, has a lead cover and from their size and effects, we can discern they are nuclear missiles.

Zechariah 5:4 NKJV
4 "I will send out the curse," says the Lord of hosts; "It shall enter the house of the thief And the house of the one who swears falsely by My name. It shall remain in the midst of his house And consume it, with its timber and stones."

Keras, read Zechariah 5:4 and ponder on this thought for a minute. If a nuclear bomb were to drop on a city, "everyone" within a 20 mile radius would be killed instantly. It does not discriminate nor distinguish who it'll kill. Everything and everyone in it's path will be destroy.

Zechariah 5:5-11 New Living Translation (NLT)

Now read this in a easier to understand translation and ponder this for another minute. In the book of Revelation, did John not conversed with an angel? Was John not able to see things in the spiritual realm also?

Did it not dawn on you an angel (Zech 5:5) came to Zechariah and showed him things we can't see in this realm but only in the spiritual realm?

Look at Zechariah 5:9. When was the last time you saw women with wings like a stork flying through the air in this world? In other words, Zechariah was able to see into the spiritual realm much like John did.

This prophecy is about a basket used to measure the sins in the land of Shinar. This is maybe how God measures the sins of cities and nations all over the world and if the sins were to overflow from the basket, God's judgment follows.

Now can we get back to the topic of this thread, Psalm 83? I don't think it'll make Handmaid happy if we stray off topic.

The bible when naming people and places is very precise and specific in detail. The land of Shinar is in the area of Iraq. This prophecy has nothing to do with Iran. If so, God would use Persia instead of Shinar.
Iraq does not have nuke missiles, but Iran; who actually controls Eastern Iraq; does.
They intend to use them to clear the way for their ground troops, namely Hamas and Hezbollah. That will be their downfall; Jeremiah 49:35-36, Ezekiel 32:24-25
