I’m in the middle of reading quite a few books... but I will probably finish a book by Eoin Colfer next called the Reluctant Assassin. I forgot how much I usually like this author.

Grave Peril by Jim Butcher - It's book 3 of the Dresden Files, it's sci-fi/fantasy-ish type book. It was recommended to me by someone and I admit the series isn't -great- but it's good enough that it's kept my attention and I keep wanting to read a bit more to see where it goes, lol. Anyone else read this series?
I’ve read the first book, it was interesting enough that I will read the second one sometime. I just have a few other books and series that I want to read first.

Hmm I'll have to check that one out. Even if I am 14 books into an addiction. :p

Yup! That's how I feel about the series, lol. The one book is kind of on my back burner but it is interesting so I'll end up reading all of it I'm sure.

I finished reading The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah. I gave it high marks on Good reads. It was a really awesome read. I had been going back and forth on reading it, I kept seeing it being recommended on GR and at my local digital library's website so finally I gave it a whirl. In a way I'd love to see it as a movie but they tend to mess so many things up when they try to put things on the big screen (The Snowman by Jo Nesbo, for example, one of my all time favorite books) that I'm on the fence about it.

For anyone who likes adventure, living out off the grid romance type book, historical fiction, I'd recommend it. It has a bit of everything. Although for anyone who has been in an abusive relationship or had a parent who was abusive then I'd say it might be a trigger. Just fyi.

I also finished reading the first book in the Elite's trilogy called "The Young Elites" by Marie Lu. It like I said before was just kind of on a whim read... I'm not usually into fantasy but you know what? After this book I may give other books a whirl. It was actually really good. I wouldn't say 5 out of 5 good but it was pretty intense and kept a good speed. I was really surprised at the end who turned out to be rather bad people in the book, that's all I'll say. :satisfied:

Has anyone else read the Elites trilogy?

I just ordered a book called Lottery by Patricia Wood.

It's about a legally mentally disabled man named Perry who was raised by his streetwise grandmother. After his grandmother dies, Perry wins $12 million in the lottery and suddenly everyone wants to be his friend. Having learned what his grandmother taught him, Perry outsmarts every attempt from people trying to take advantage of him.
That sounds like a good book, please tell us how it is.

The Space Trilogy by C.S. Lewis (Audiobook)

Just finished the first book whilst at work. Looking forward to book two when I go back Friday.

I really liked his Space Trilogy. The second one is quite interesting. The third is quite different but ties everything together. Have fun reading/listening to them
