Also interesting to me is that "Chernobyl" is the Russian word for "Wormwood", a black-stalked family of plants that are bitter (Chernobyl - Wikipedia). The most interesting fact came when I learned that 1/3 of the world's fresh water come from that region of Europe and I saw a pollution map that showed how all the ground sources of fresh water had been polluted by the Chernobyl meltdown.

BUT, that scripture describes a great star blazing that fell from the sky and poisons 1/3 of all rivers and springs causing death to those who drink it, not a nuclear power plant that the Russians chose to name Wormwood for lack of their understanding. So a blazing star could be an asteroid or nuclear bomb. And remember, this is the 3rd Trumpet which means we would be in the GT if your view was correct.
I do believe the GT starts with the trumpets and that both trumpet and bowl events fall within coincide with the Seals. The Seals are the written orders and the trumpets and bowls the actions.
So trumpets 1 and 2 would have been blown and we would be seeing evidence such as:
Trumpet 1: 1/3 of all the trees and grass on earth burned up!
Trumpet 2: A huge mountain (super volcanic eruption) on fire gets thrown into the sea and kills 1/3 of all fish and 1/3 of all ships in the sea!
Trumpet 3: (see above)
Only massive tsunami waves could do that.
Trumpet 4: brings darkness from the smoke that blocks out one third of the sunlight, moonlight and starlight.
Trumpet 5: Releases an angel with the key to the bottomless pit. This also supports a huge volcanic eruption, splitting a fissure in the earth with fire, brimstone, smoke and 200 million demon locusts being released.
Trumpet 6: Four angels are released (very possibly the four horsemen) to kill 1/3 of the people on earth.
Trumpet 7: (the Last Trumpet)
A. The Mystery of God is revealed.
B. Christ Appears
C. The resurrection of the Church occurs
D. The kingdoms of the world become the Lord's.
E. The dead are resurrected and judged also.
F. We receive rewards according to our deeds.
G. The Temple of God is open in heaven.
H. The Bowls of God's wrath in full are released.

The Next Prophesied Event:
Isaiah 61:1-2a The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me. He has sent me to announce good news to the humble, to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and to proclaim a year of the Lords favour……..

Isaiah 61:2b-3...and a Day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, to give then garlands instead of ashes, oil of gladness, instead of mourners tears and a garment of splendour for the distressed. They will be called trees of righteousness, planted by the Lord for His adornment.

Isaiah 61:4-11 Buildings long in ruin and desolate will be restored and rebuilt. Foreigners will serve you, caring for your flocks and vines, but you will be called priests of the Lord and the wealth of the nations will be yours. Because My people have received insults and shame in double measure, they will receive in their own Land, wealth in double measure.

For I, the Lord love justice and hate injustice, I shall give My people a sure reward and make an everlasting Covenant with them. Their posterity will be renowned among the nations, they will be seen as a people blessed by the Lord.

Let us rejoice in the Lord with all our hearts. From Him has come victory and deliverance. His people, robed in beauty are like a garden full of flowers. The Lord will make His victory and renown known to the nations. Reference: REB, NIV, KJV. Some verses abridged.

Isaiah 61:1-2a, was quoted by Jesus at the commencement of His ministry;.... a year of the Lord’s favour’. He stopped in mid sentence and then said: Today, in your hearing, this prophecy has come true.

Therefore, the rest of this chapter is unfulfilled prophecy. So, we look for the sequence of events to unfold as written, commencing with:

‘a Day of vengeance of our God’ - The next prophesied event. Not the Return of Jesus in His glory, but His punishment to the nations, triggered by an attack on Israel. This is prophesied and described comprehensively throughout the Bible as a terrible disaster by fire, that will affect the whole world. Isa. 63:1-6, Isa. 30:26

‘comfort all who mourn’ - All who love the Lord and follow in His Laws, those who mourn His death on the cross. Zechariah 12:9-10

‘trees of righteousness, planted in their own Land’ - His people: all faithful Christians, Jews and Gentiles are gathered and settled in His holy Land, into all of that area promised to the Patriarchs, to their descendants by faith, Galatians 3:26-29, in the new country of Beulah. Isaiah 62:1-5, Ezekiel 20:34-36, Isaiah 26:15

‘buildings rebuilt and the land restored’ - After the devastation caused by a CME sunstrike, The Lord will regenerate the Land, Ezekiel 36:8 but buildings must be rebuilt, including the new Temple. Isaiah 65:21, Zechariah 6:15

‘foreigners will serve you’ - Isaiah 60:10...foreigners will rebuild your walls...
‘wealth of the nations will be yours’ - Zechariah 14:14 The same as what happened at the first Exodus. Exodus 11:2

‘make a Covenant with them’ - Jeremiah 31:33, Ezekiel 34:25, Isaiah 54:10

‘from Him has come victory and deliverance’ - Psalms 91:14-16, Psalms 44:4-7
‘known to the nations’ - Ezekiel 39:21, Isaiah 40:5

Israel's Prime Minister believes Ezekiel 37 was fulfilled. [and so do I, but not the way he views it]

What about Ezekiel 37:10 "breath of life, they stand on feet" Reve 11:11

I picked out this verse as it appears to resemble the event of the 2 witnesses being "resurrected".

Ezekiel 37:10
And I prophecy as He commanded me,
and the breath/spirit<7307> is coming in them
and they are living
and they are standing<5975> upon their feet,
an exceedingly<3966> great army, exceedingly

2 verses I found where both "spirit/breath" and "stand" are used in NT.

Revelation 11:11
And after the three days and a half,
a spirit/breath of life<4151> out of the God entered in them
and they stand<2476> on their feet
and great fear falls upon the ones observing them.

None of that is a literal rendering of the text:

Revelation 8:10-11
10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell from heaven a great star, burning as a torch, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of the waters; 11 and the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

Unless, of course, you can demonstrate how the "star" Chernobyl (nevermind how non literal that is) Literally FELL FROM HEAVEN?
