Who is Holy Spirit?

Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16

Holy Spirit is not a force or a thing; He is a Divine Person and the third Person in the Holy Trinity of God. He was present in the beginning and He will be present at the end.

29 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
30 I will show wonders in the heavens
and on the earth,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
31 The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.
32 And everyone who calls
on the name of the LORD will be saved;
for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
there will be deliverance,
as the LORD has said,
even among the survivors
whom the LORD calls

Zechariah 10:1 Ask the LORD for rain in the springtime;
it is the LORD who sends the thunderstorms.
He gives showers of rain to all people,
and plants of the field to everyone.

The Holy Spirit is my favorite subject. Did you join a Pentecostal church? Did you receive the Holy Spirit? I did the first, but not the latter.
I am looking at some churches in my area, praying about them and trying to see where I’m lead. Once is an Assembly of God, the other Foursquare Gospel.

I do not feel I’ve been baptized in the Spirit. I think there was too much habitual sin. I think I needed somethings in my heart worked on. And most of my years knowing the Lord, I didn’t even know that was possible. Was very closed off.

May I say here that no one whom has received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost can claim complete and uniform righteousness on their own. We must not let ourselves be filtered out and away from worthy candidacy of receive all of what God has for us based on our performance. It is not our righteousness that grants us access to His blessings, but the righteousness of Christ and the blood of Christ to help at the appropriate time.

And what is the appropriate time for any need that is needed? Now!

“Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter
the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way
which He inaugurated for us through the veil, ,”

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we
may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

(Hebrews 10:19, 4:16)

Being complete in Him goes to the very depths of our needs, our conscience as well as what our heart permits or does not permit, , God is fully aware of it all and the astounding thing is while He knows who we really are is still willing to give it all to us

Us, the ones who all have erred in one way or another!. Hallelujah to the Lamb, giver of all!

“, , God is greater than our heart, ,”

(1 John 3:20)

Oh I know. I do feel some of the sin I had kept me very far from the Lord at times. I really had to decide if I wanted to live for Him or my flesh.

The Holy Spirit is our helper. Jesus promised that he would not leave us alone but he would send us the Holy Spirit as our helper, comforter and teacher. He will lead us into all truth, he will help us speak out boldly for Jesus, and will give us the right words to say. He will help us grow in maturity, gives us the power to live out our lives as disciples and helps us to develop the fruits of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. He gives us gifts to edify the church - gifts of miracles, prophesy, healing, tongues, faith and discernment. He helps us in prayer and intercedes on our behalf. Wherever the Spirit is moving, we can expect great things to happen.

Amen!

The Spirit is God's agent to enlightenment us.

In the apostles' case the Spirit acted when they were preaching the Gospel. And since their days the revelation comes to us through the preaching based upon the apostles' Word.

This work of revealing salvation's way can be done by the Spirit. It's the Spirit's function, because she investigates all, even God's depths.

She has access to, she knows, God.

And what she has discovered she discloses to us.

Those depths of God's essence where God's will for humanity's salvation lay hidden, the Spirit has made known to us.

☆ Since the Spirit has access to God, hers must be the divine essence, she must be true God. ☆

No one's able to know another's desires unless that other reveals themself to them.

No one has found out God, had access to God's plans. Only God's Spirit has that knowledge, and so she can and does reveal him.

We tend to gravitate naturally, ‘God won’t bless me with all this baggage’, or, This thing within me blocks any way for being filled’.

Are we so quick to forget the person accredited for achieving fore-running status of being blessed of the Holy Spirit and his battle with shortcomings?

Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is led into sin, and I do not inwardly burn?

2 Corinthians 11:29

But now if you are talking about a control issue where something hasn’t yet been dealt with, there are steps within everyone’s reach to do that. Sometimes, this becomes far more complex than was ever intended to be.

Although we dig deeply to understand and grow, God is a God who doesn’t make our paths complex for ourselves but simple ways such as praying for help from that same Spirit He sent us aid us so long ago,

If by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

(Romans 8:13)

Who is she that you are referring to?

We do tend to make it all a lot more complex than it ever needs to be.

It’s a huge problem that we over complicated.
The remedy God supplies is not complicated. The flesh and the Spirit are as stated in the word ever at odds with each other. We choose either or the other, life or spiritual death.

There are scores of information the simplicity of confronting the deeds and appetites of the body using such texts as Romans 8:13.

If we conclude these things God has supplied are too high or some other reason, we open the door to the adversary to get an advantage.

No I don’t feel God complicates it at all. I was meaning that sometimes we over complicated it all.

Oh, sorry I thought that was all-inclusive. My fault.
