No, we won't stop talking about the forthcoming Day that the Lord will take action to destroy His enemies.
It will happen and we Christians should not be in the dark about it.

I have noticed that a lot of Christians do not like talking about the return of Lord Jesus. We should be excited as we see the day approaching. Thank you elder brother :hug:

It brings no joy to hear of Jesus destroying the unsaved. The Trib is no time to be excited about, especially if Post Trib is correct. Lots of people have had Jesus come and get them already: it's called dying. So forgive us if we're not all joy and smiles about it.

That is why you should not distress yourself by continuing to read this thread. The tribulation is coming whether we are excited or not. So we who are Christians should do our best to preach the gospel to every creature so that many unsaved will be saved. No it will not be a festival time. It will be darkness and peril. But those in Christ will be safe. Even so come Lord Jesus!

You are mistaken. I DO like to talk about the return of Lord Jesus. But I am testifying against the false doctrine and erroneous interpretations regarding Psalm 83 based on world events regarding national Israel.

It seems that you have never read Psalms 83 for what it actually says.
It is you who has interpreted that prophecy to mean something else from the plain narrative as given.
We who read current news and who look in depth at events unfolding today, know that there must be coming soon; a dramatic change to the world.
Why be in the dark about it?

What is this "prophecy" stuff? The Psalms are songs. Written when Israel was a nation. Futurism has turned into hyperfuturism, where anything and everything someone doesn't understand is about some "future" time.

LOL. I read the same Psalms 83 that you read. It is our interpretation that differs. You prefer to allow current news as its interpreter while I allow God's Word to interpret itself. Someone is in dark and it's obviously not me.

OK. I interpret Psalms 83:13-18 as; The Lord will scatter His enemies

like chaff, those who attack Israel; with a fire that burns forests and with hurricane winds that will destroy them.
They will be as dung on the ground. Verse 10b

There are over 100 other prophesies that confirm this future event.

What is your 'interpretation'? That it is just a Sunday School song?

Unfortunately I have ad blocker on too and this is all I can see in the article below. Sorry Handmaid! But Israel and Iran are definitely headed for war from many other news sources and not just what the bible said. This coming war that will be fought just before the tribulation commences and will eliminate Israel's neighboring enemies that share a common border (Bill Salus calls them the inter ring countries) and is a prelude to Ezekiel 38 (The outer ring countries) which will happen in the tribulation during the mid point.

In her victory, she will expand and take the lands of her enemies as did the 6-Day War but this time, Israel will keep the new territories. Isaiah 26:15.

I'm not suggesting anyone on this forum is right or wrong but what if you can post the reason(s) why you think the interpretation on Psalm 83 is wrong and present some evidences to support your argument?
