Why aren't people talking about the darker side of technological change?

I don't know, with today's population explosion it may be better that people interact less and are dumber. Keeps them distracted...of course, there wouldn't be so many people without the technological advances.

*Lot of folks would have to die...to go back.

According to Yahweh and Scripture, the source of something determines if it is righteous, good, or evil, bad. Since most technology is developed for and by greedy people, and the end result(s) is more oppression of the poor, it is bad, and continues to show itself bad with no remorse.

"Most"?

Exodus 30:1-5
The Lord said to Moses, “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every craft.

I'm pretty sure 100% of technology was invented by sinners. Even so, necessity breeds invention. And that is what inspired most technology: not so much greed, but necessity.

The evil ones say necessity as a cover for greed. Remember that is the world society supporting itself - and the world loves its own. The world loves money. The world does not love Jesus nor does the world love the followers of Jesus.

As wickedness increases daily, more and more people are oppressed, and fewer and fewer free to live as they would choose to live rightly in Christ Jesus without the poisons of modern (last 200 years) society and modern processed stuff in medicine and in food and in drinks and in makeup and in many many polluting and damaging, harmful, things.

A simple man, Pastor Josephson, published "God's Key to Health and Happiness" several decades ago, after being healed after the doctors told him he only had a few months to live (dying of terminal cancer they could do nothing for).
He was a Baptist pastor , I think, and went back to the Bible, and did as God instructed. within a year he was not only healed, but healthy, having used no drugs nor surgery (nor radiation). He published the book, exposing why the doctors did not help him, and lived about 60 more healthy years with his wonderful wife in mid-usa. (As of a few years ago, she was in her 90's and still well and alive and continuing to sell the book) ...

Population growth rates aren't exploding. The are declining.

Well yeah, because of the explosion right...like how pollution is declining because of climate change...or at least folks are trying for it. My point was that people are not dying as much and living longer because of technological advances, so, if we were to go back...people would have to die. I could be wrong though, I'm just going on hearsay.

There is an inverse correlation between (education, wealth) and birth rates

Yeah, but people also live longer and then there's the whole atomic bomb thing.

Oh so you're saying that when technology goes up, population goes down? So, you think that I was saying that having less technology would bring the population down? I think it would, if we were to reverse time, by way of less of the proliferation that got us here. But, I understand that, overall, the Earth's population increased with technological advances. Am I making any sense?
