Hello everyone. I am a former Seventh-day Adventist and now a Seventh-day Millerite. I would like to invite everyone to join me in celebrating my 30 years of forced exile from the Seventh-day Adventist church.
The prophet Isaiah wrote:
“Hear the word of the Lord, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the Lord be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.” Isaiah 66:5.
And Jesus said:
“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matthew 5:10-12.
Isn't that a really good reason to celebrate?
