And since we are discussing 30 AD here I would like to touch on the reign of Tiberius Caesar and Augustus Caesar as they they were the first two emperors of Rome succeeding Julius the first Caesar. According to Luke 3:1-23 Jesus was 30 Years Old in the 15th Year of the Reign of Tiberius Caesar. From here we may find the birth of Jesus and the reign of Augustus Caesar:
30 AD - 15 Years = 15 AD
Jesus 30 Years Old - 15 Years = Jesus 15 Years Old
Tiberius Caesar 15th Year of Reign - 15 Years = Tiberius Caesar 1st Year of Reign
15 AD - 15 Years = 1 AD
Jesus 15 Years Old - 15 Years = Jesus 1 Years Old
Tiberius Caesar 1st Year of Reign - 15 Years = Augustus Caesar 26th Year of Reign
We see that Jesus Christ was born in the 26th Year of the Reign of Augustus Caesar; 15 Years Old in the 1st Year of the Reign of Tiberius Caesar; and, 30 Years Old in the 15th Year of the Reign of Tiberius Caesar.
