Hey Lynn... I remember I was like 10-14.. longer what ever.. my room was down stairs and ...oh man I HATED.. HATED Sunday mornings. My mom would pound on the floor to wake me up for Church. She made me go. My dad.. step dad since I was 3. At some point would not let her take me. So.. my mom and her friends were praying.. one day he just said yes.
Lynn.. you cant look at the world nor the people in it and then try to figure out how God works. What I mean is.. we need to KNOW that we know that we know JESUS IS REAL! That He is for you.. not against you. That God your FATHER HELLO! There is NOTHING He cant do. Did not HE say what ever WHAT EVER you desire when you pray believe you receive it and you shall have it? Did not He say.. what ever you ask the Father in my name He will do it? Did not He say...JESUS..ask me anything I will do it.. He said.. if you know the Father hears you then you know you have the petitions you asked for. .GODS WILL is HIS WORD!
So be it friends or family..even though we have free will.. your Father knows how to whisper. Well when my boy was about 4? In preschool there was this girl Adana lol... man he like her so much but she would not have ANYTHING what so ever to do with him. So I told him.. were going to pray I said..children are easy.. the listen and God knows how to whisper (adults.. pfft you know). Well not long after that as he got up to go.. Adana gets up..comes over HUGS HIM! WOW made his world...
My wife needed wanted I should say.. friends at work.. she had none.. friend after friend now. KNOW your Father hears you. How? He said.. He hears the prayers of the righteous..hello YOU! He answers before you finish.. And remember...if you DONT see it right away.. YOU STAND IN FAITH! Dont doubt.. When Daniel prayed.. Gab (angel) told him.. the moment you prayed.. God answered. but the enemy with stood Gabriel for 21 days.. so Gab had to call on Mikael to come help. Remember where the fight is "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
To many times we think that desire came from us.. ALL good things ALL come from GOD! So.. dont be moved (after you prayed) by what you see hear FEEL. Walk by faith. Find in that bible.. something that fits what you desire. Easy.. JOY? when sad.. NO.. the JOY of the lord is my strength! See?
