How do I begin?

I've been out of a job since last march due to company downsizing. I was one of the few to be laid off. I figured I'd find a job soon since I had 6 months of unemployment. Therefore, I started applying every day with no results. I did a few freelance projects on the side and mind you, this was before I returned to the lord. During that time, I did feel a tug deep within my heart and I knew it was God wanting me to return to him.

I kept resisting and trying to ignore it. Whenever I had interviews, it would result in no response or they chose someone else regardless of how impressed they were of my background. I got hired in October during my birthday week and thought I finally did it, only to be fired within a month later because they expected me to know everything within a week and that I asked too many questions.

I was back to the drawing board once again as I applied but no one responded since it was during the holidays. Once January came, I surrendered to the lord. However, I noticed the moment I did I started getting spiritually attacked...arguments at home, and many job rejections before they even gave me a chance to even see them in an interview...

In addition, out of over a 1000 applications, I got mostly no responses and 10 interviews. I had another interview this Friday but it was horrifically short as the guy didn't see too thrilled to see me. It was like he expected to meet someone else due to my French name. (I'm hispanic.)

He barely gave any questions at all and didn't even shake my hand so I knew I didn't get the job even though he wants to send me a design test even though he saw my portfolio.

I became upset and cried out to God about why he created me in the first place. All I ever had in life was disappointment and pain. I was born in a low income family that was also dysfunctional and wanted to make something of myself but instead I continued to run into roadblocks every step of the way....

I only ask that you pray for me and help me become more faithful, less doubtful, trust God more and to finally get a job as I am running out of emergency funds..

Thank you. Have a great night.

I have been in your shoes. The uncertainty can create stress; that’s normal. I am praying, asking God to intervene in your job situation, provide for all your needs and give you guidance as you trust in Him. Take a deep breath. Before your next job interview, take a few minutes to meditate on your past successes and reliable skills. Be persistent. Be friendly. Keep applying if necessary and expect the tides to turn.

Being laid-off from your job or unemployed does not mean you are without hope. God provides for us each day. We may not know how His provision will come, but if our lives are submitted to Him, we can be sure we will receive His blessings. Don’t lose hope; keep praying and I will be praying for you, too. Peace and grace!

I've been thinking about it since I do run a blog called cosmic funnies where I teach kids about space in a cute way and have a sticker shop for it. I also sold a few books of my series. My problem is marketing. I need to know how to do that to get more customers.
Skillshare and other such places may be able to help you out. I pray you will be given guidance, healing for your health, and sufficient income in due time.
