Hello,
I have heard it’s a good book Let me know what you think.

James

You mean The Pursuit of God? I am in the middle of reading two books so it might take a while to comment on it. You might finish it before I do. :D

Question for you .... do our thoughts control our emotions or do our emotions co tell our thoughts?

I know this doesn’t have anything to do with the books we are reading am simply trying to figure out why we as people do the things we do

I’m pretty green at philosophy. Getting all the terminology memorized is even a task. Wait, are you making fun of me?? Is that what the green face is all about!!?? Lol. I would say that your thoughts control your emotions IMO

Yes I see your point. A lot of times I think that things are a combination of both, I think this is too, but I guess I was just answering the question like a poll of which one I think is the more powerful influence. And then negative thoughts can also be creating a routine of ‘Bad emotions’ so there’s that.

However if you were to add physical pain into the mix ugh, like someone who lives with constant headaches or even worse, than I think that just thoughts wouldn’t be the most powerful influence on your emotions anymore.
