CREFLO DOLLAR
(Part 1)

This is interesting! Lately, I have been sharing off/on about the "so-called" Word/Faith's PROSPERITY GOSPEL and (once again), I will reiterate (for clarity) that there is NO such thing in the Word/Faith movement... but yet, If one were to "look up" several Word/Faith "critics" websites (as I did recently)... you will find that in most cases, the (very first) thing these critics will bring up in their website is, "(WOF) teaches "a Prosperity Gospel" that's ALL about money." Yes, WOF absolutely teaches on abundant wealth to all believers along with many, many other promises in God's Word. The sole reason for any prosperity teaching is to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire world.

Isn't America by far, the leader in missions and ministering around the world? I would suspect that WOF shares a major part of GIVING to international missions, and other ministries in third world countries, and even other poor nations around the world on a global effort. Since this post is about Creflo Dollar... I'm sure that his ministry is heavily involved in international ministries and missions also.

Have there been abuses in Word/Faith by some of our teachers that went overboard from time to time in "singling" out financial prosperity? How about the rest of the Church? Absolutely! At times, however... prosperity teaching IS needed since the bulk of the Church has been (and still is)... being taught a poverty gospel for hundreds of years... of being poor and humble and barely getting along.

I made a (Google) search on "What is biblical prosperity?" (Keyword: Biblical). "Clicked enter" and got an amazing 821,000 results in (0.47 seconds). Here's the very interesting part. Take a guess whose ministry showed up at the top (very first) website that came up out of ALL those (821,000) hits? Would you believe... Creflo Dollar's Ministry? I didn't expect to see His ministry show up (at all)... let alone being "on top" of the Google search. Hmmm!
scratch1_zps92elczf1.gif
I wonder, did I accidently plug in "prosperity gospel" instead? If so, then he (Creflo) and ALL of the other WOF ministries would be there (in line) on almost every website [and] on several of the pages. So, I had to verify that I actually did plug in "Biblical Prosperity." Go figure!

Isn't Creflo Dollar (according to WOF critics)... one of the WORST on teaching the so-called prosperity gospel? Remember, some time ago... Creflo WANTED a $65 (Million) dollar yet. A lot of our eyebrows were raised... and as humans, there are times when we ALL misplace "needs" for "wants." Creflo Dollar, and the rest of us are no different. To be clear, it doesn't mean that God will NOT grant some wants (also) as He supplies our daily needs... and as far as I know, Creflo didn't get his jet... yet (at least not this one).

I'm guessing It would be up to his congregation and other supporters around the world to authorize it. If they do, it's between them and God. So, since Creflo's ministry was the very first webpage that came up on my Google search, let's say we check out his article and see how God is leading him...

BIBLICAL PROSPERITY

by CREFLO DOLLAR (November 9, 2015)

(Part 2)

The idea of prosperity is no doubt appealing to many of us, but few people realize its true biblical meaning. When we think of prosperity, we tend to think in terms of money and financial wealth, but God’s perspective is much broader. Financial advisors and wealth managers can offer us their advice on how to get rich according to the world’s standards, but these standards are limited and can change at any time. The guidelines we find in the Bible for achieving true prosperity are eternal.

Contrary to what worldly philosophies tell us, God wants His Christian followers to be wealthy and prosperous. When we read the Word, we learn that money is just a tool to help us do what’s really important, which is "serving" Him. When we acknowledge God and ask for His blessings on our finances, He will answer. But we need to keep those abundant blessings in perspective. “If you start thinking to yourselves, ‘I did all this. And all by myself. I’m rich. It’s all mine!’—well, think again. Remember that God, your God, gave you the strength to produce all this wealth so as to (confirm the covenant) that he promised to your ancestors—as it is today” (Deuteronomy 8:17, 18, MSG).

Another misconception I want to mention is that money itself is just plain wrong. It’s not, and there’s no reason to feel guilty when God causes it to come into our life. It’s okay to have money, as long as we don’t make acquiring it the top priority in life. “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows” (1 Timothy 6:10).

Being prosperous not only means having wealth, but health, happiness, long life, and success. God promises these to us in His Word. When we remember to apply His scriptural lessons to our life, we open up the door to those promises. “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” (Joshua 1:8).

When we look at people who are healthy, happy, and physically active, that’s prosperity. When we see joyful parents with well-adjusted, godly children, that’s success. When we observe peaceful, loving families who put God first and operate according to His principles, that’s blessing. True prosperity is rooted in God’s truths, and it affects our spirit and our soul. “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 1:2).

It’s no sin to be prosperous, as long as we have the right spirit about it. Jesus died and was resurrected for us so that we could not only have forgiveness of sins and eternal life, but also wealth, success, and prosperity. Remembering that will help us keep the correct mindset. “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper” (Psalm 1:1-3). May you be blessed!

MY COMMENTS: Well, I don't know about you but I definitely liked Creflo Dollar's article here... even though, and (just my opinion...) he may have went overboard and I'll leave it at that. It's between him and God, right?

Comments (welcomed)...

You are right sir ,what is so very strange is that critics have used a misnomer to describe us.
When you stop and think about the term ( prosperity gospel)
What would be the alternative?
No major Church I know of is void of prosperity.
Our critics sell their books about us!
As if they are the watchmen ,but truth be told they are hypocritical in their selling of their junk.
It seems if it's gossip today it sells, just look at our media and the onslaught of our president.
Seth Meyers spends all his time on bashing Trump.
I wake up to see this weird looking guy relentless in bashing Trump.
John MacArthur has made big bucks on Word of Faith ,of course He has done well with his Pagan fest every year ,where they have a hogs head as somthing to dance around with
scantly clad women and painted faces.

It is about the truth, and truth is no one enjoys poverty ,and no one but God can judge our hearts.

LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON

The Good Heavenly Father

When Father's Day comes around tomorrow.... Sunday, it's hard to talk about our fathers without talking about our Heavenly Father. He is an example to "earthly" fathers. We can be reflections of God's character to our children. Jesus used the story of the prodigal son to bring truth in three perspectives: the underserving younger son, the bitter older brother, and the good father (Luke15:11-32). Let's learn about the father....

THE FATHER provided an inheritance. Nothing pleases a father better than to be able to give to is children. I don't think anything can cause a father's heart to overflow more than when he can provide for his family! THE FATHER was fair. He divided his livelihood equally. Even though the son's request seemed a bit unreasonable, the father did not say anything. A child's behavior is no reason to stop being good to them. Show goodness toward them and guide them back to correctness.

THE FATHER believed in his son. When the son was still a long way off, his father saw him. This shows that he was looking for his son to come home. When WE stray, our Heavenly Father is watching and looking for us to return. THE FATHER showed his love unconditionally. He saw the son and had compassion on him! He didn't run and say, "You've done wrong." He didn't accuse him. Instead, he immediately welcomed him back. The son said he didn't deserve it, but the father didn't pay any attention to his words.

THE FATHER celebrated the return of his son. Affirmation and celebration are needed every step of the way, not just when a child has accomplished some goals. THE FATHER restored and defended His son. He received him back with open arms as if he had never been away! He even defended the son against his older brother. Fathers stand by their children even when they are not perfect.

(As for myself).... In The middle of "my" third grade, MY DAD.... started traveling in ministry. He was seldom home to see me compete in sports. But in between meetings, he often would drive ALL night just so he could eat breakfast with all of us. If I had a school holiday and he was close enough, he would pick me up and takeg me with him.

Our Heavenly Father does all these things (in us). One of the best ways YOU can be a good father is to let your children (see you) interact with our heavenly Father. As your life unfolds, your family will see more than God's plan. They will see His character (in you). The same things God does for His sons and daughters (you and I).... YOU can do for your children.

I missed my dad a lot. Many times I'd go behind the back porch and put my face in the fur of my collie so nobody could see my tears as Dad drove off. As far as I'm concerned, God gave me the greatest role model. I know my dad loved me. He was a mentor, teacher, and godly example to me. My dad was my hero. Now that my dad is in heaven, every day is Father's Day to him. Sunday is Father's Day and I Love my Dad... (Kenneth E. Hagin)

All Sin is... Sin
What does that mean? The following message was aired on TBN recently by Creflo Dollar on the subject of comparing sins. IOW, "my sins are not as bad as your sins." It's in his own words, so part of this will be humorous but there is a "message" being presented. (Enjoy!)

Creflo Dollar: All sin is sin. God looks at ALL sin as on the same level. He doesn't see one sin bigger than other sins. Actually, any sin (the big ones and the small ones) are an abomination to God. Examples... someone may say that, "lying isn't as bad as committing adultery." Who wants to be the best sinner in hell? The apostle Paul said, "Who has bewitched you?" Your sin is less than someone else's sin... is self-righteousness.

Or, one may say, "well, I didn't do what that guy did!" Doesn't matter, for both of you qualify for hell. Jesus said, "have you committed adultery?" No! I haven't been with another woman except my own spouse! Jesus said, "have you ever looked at another woman and admired her a little to much which led to lust?" Well, uh, uh... Jesus said, "you have committed adultery! Have you ever committed murder?" No Jesus, I have never killed nobody! Jesus said, "have you ever hated your brother?" Uh, well, I still have a little problem with hate for some people. Jesus said, "You've also committed murder!"

What was Jesus saying? All sin is on the same level. "Well, I am not like those others. I don't do any of those things! I tithe, I pray, I am holy! I never smoked. Never done drugs, or drank booze. I never even drank a cop of coffee! (congregation laughing) I pray in tongues an hour and a half a day. I have never viewed naked pictures. I don't even look at my self! (congregation laughs) Surely, the Lord will anoint me higher than those others.

And Jesus came to him and said, "Hey Bubba, there's one problem." What Lord is the problem? (congregation laughing) The Lord said, "now... your problem is the sin of self-righteousness".

Kind of neat the way Creflo put it.

If I could, I would like to share a sad incident (below) that I copied from our local town newspaper, of an American Bald Eagle, an (American Symbol of our great nation) that was hit by a car on the famous Lincoln Hwy just over two miles west of (my home) in Delphos, Ohio. Just before the Bald Eagle (25 minutes later) passed away, it done something amazing when he took it's last breath. You must check it out below in the highlighted area.

Bald Eagle dies along Lincoln Highway

Julia Keirns, DHI Media Correspondent: Saturday, (July 14, 2018) 12:45 AM

Evidence along Lincoln Highway west of Delphos indicates this bald eagle was struck by a vehicle Friday morning. The large bird of prey later died at the scene. (Photo courtesy of Toni Cheray Wisher)
VAN WERT COUNTY — Friday, July the 13th was not a good day for Toni Cheray Wisher or the bald eagle she found laying on the side of the road approximately three miles west of Delphos, Ohio. “I first passed him on Lincoln Highway around 7:15 a.m.,” she said. “I noticed something off the side of the road but did not realize it was an eagle until after I went past. I turned around and drove back to see if it was injured."

"When I pulled up near him he fluttered his wings and tried to fly. I immediately knew he had been hit. There were still feathers laying on the road so I knew it must have been recent. Just then, two Ohio state highway patrol officers approached my car. I asked if someone had already called to report it and they said they were just stopping to see if I had car trouble. I pointed to the eagle and I don’t think they were expecting that,” she continued. The officers approached the eagle and he fluttered closer to the road. They both immediately began directing traffic and protecting him from being hit again.

According to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, just a short 40 years ago, the bald eagle was in danger of extinction mainly due to the use of DDT, but also due to poachers and other poisonous pesticides. DDT was banned and the bald eagle has slowly been making a comeback, not only across the United States but right here in Tri-County area. Nests are popping up regularly. Photos of bald eagles fill the Facebook pages of all ages of users. The bald eagle has been the national symbol of the United States since 1782. It is found on the Great Seal, the Presidential Seal, on several coins and paper money, postage stamps and countless other places. The bald eagle conveys power and symbolizes freedom, courage, honesty and truthful principles.

Eagle[1].jpg

Van Wert and Putnam County currently have several bald eagle nests and most of these nests have eaglets that have hatched and are currently fledging. It takes about 35 days for an egg to hatch. The young remain in the nest up to 12 weeks before they fledge (fly from the nest). A young eagle will be all brown for the first years of its life and is sometimes mistaken for a hawk. The feathers of the head do not begin to turn white until the bird is near four or five years old. In 1967, the bald eagle ended up on the Endangered Species List. Federal laws, such as the Bald Eagle Protection Act, protect the bald eagle and have led to the increase of the population. Populations have improved so much that the bald eagle was removed from the Endangered Species List in 2007.

“Watching those two officers protect that beautiful creature in its last moments — the symbol of so many things good in this country — is something I will never forget,” Wisher said. She also said with sadness. “At 7:38 am, he raised his head up, spread his wings out completely opened up, took his last breath and died.

My Comment: Some years ago (on this forum) I put up a thread....

https://www.christianforums.com/threads/our-dog-passed-away-heaven.7637169/.

Someone asked Billy Graham, will our pets be in heaven when we get there? Graham said, “God will prepare everything for our perfect happiness in heaven, and if it takes my dog being there, I believe he’ll be there.” So, as far as the Bald Eagle, one has to ask the question! Was it really an accident, or was that beautiful bird hit on purpose. Here on earth, we will never know. Well, I actually believe that our pets ARE waiting for us in heaven. I asked and made this request to the Lord. "Lord, I want to make this beautiful Bald Eagle that you created, [and]... that the United States of America excepted as a symbolism of freedom to our nation. So Lord, As my family goes through heavens pearly gates... our families pets (over the years) will be running towards us, and as I slightly look up just above them, I request that I will (also) see this beautiful Bald Eagle flying toward me."

Now, as to the Bald Eagle lifting up his head with his wings stretched out, and took his last breath and died. Wow, what does that mean? Maybe nothing! Maybe a sign from God! Who knows? The lady (Toni Cheray Wisher) that stopped to help said she would never forget this, and I'm guessing the two state patrol officers won't forget it either. It reminds me of the final two things that Jesus said (on the cross) with His dying breath, and... (I can imagine Jesus lifting up His head with His arms stretched out (nailed to the cross) looking into the heavens (to the Father) saying in His last breath....

Easter_jesus_on_the_cross-3[1].jpg
•“It is finished.” (John 19:29-30)
•“Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” (Luke 23:46)

Hmm! Did you notice the similarities of the Bald Eagle's dying breath as he lifted his head and stretched out his wings and died. Very close to being comparable to Christ's last words on the cross. (Just my thoughts)....

I think you will like what I am presenting of special quotes that I have heard and wrote down of some of our favorite TV ministers in the last couple of years. Some may be a little funny, some may not make sense, some may be controversial, some may be debatable, and some you may have already heard. Some you may not agree with.

I usually keep a pad in my pocket or on my table, in the event I hear something from God I want to save, which is usually a quote or a thought
while I am watching TV ministries, taking a walk, or wherever I am at.
___________________________________________________________

Part one and two (combined)

Frank Summerfield - If you are right with God and speak the word, it's the
same as God speaking the word.

Joseph Prince - Repentance leads us to the goodness of God?....No!... The goodness of God leads us to repentance.

Frederick K C Price - If your from somewhere, then your not from where your from. If I am "in" Ohio, I'm not "from" Ohio. Being from Ohio means I am somewhere else.

Warren G. Hardy - Often God picks up a nobody from nowhere and uses them.

Fred Price's Son - Our Spirit is redeemed, our Soul is being redeemed and our Body will be redeemed. -

Andrew Wommack - Many Christians are busy talking to God about their mountain instead of talking to their mountain about God.

John Hagee - only in the storms your faith can grow, only when your faith is tested by fire that you really know how your faith is.

Dwight Thompson - The biggest lie from the pit of hell is "tomorrow," today is the day of salvation.

Bill Winston - God does not bless you beyond your mental capacity.

R W Shambach - If you are a chicken farmer, God will plug up your chickens, if you don't tithe and you won't have no eggs to sell.

Andrew Wommack - Faith is a positive response to what God has already provided through grace.

John Hagee - Asked his congregation of several thousand. "How many tithers do we have in the house today?" Almost everybody stood. "Sit down," Hagee said. "Now, how many need a financial miracle"? Again, almost everyone stood up.

Creflo Dollar - Mentioned to his congregation that in his church, even "consistent" tithers are having trouble financially.

Fred Price - Dr. Price also asked his congregation if the tithers would stand. Almost everyone stood. As with Hagee, he asked them to sit. Then he said how many need a financial miracle. Again, almost the full house stood. Then Dr. Price voiced that he was in "shock" when almost the entire congregation stood. He then said that most of you have sat under this ministry 10 years or more and heard teaching from this ministry on healing and prosperity.

Jimmy Swaggart - Don't seek me for what I can do for you, seek me for who I am.

Kenneth Copeland - God didn't bless Jesus because he was sinless, it was because by faith, he believed. We can believe and do the same works as Jesus, even though we sin.

Andrew Wommack - Speaking in tongues draws out the hidden wisdom of God through you.

Bill Winston - We are not to fight the devil, were to fight the good fight of faith.

Charles Capps - After Jesus rose from the dead, and walked on the earth those 40 days, he never once healed anyone or cast out devils or performed any miracles during that time, because he was not "man" anymore. He was all "God." He already gave all dominion and authority to the disciples to heal the sick and cast out devils.

Joseph Prince - When you walk into a room, the room lights up and demons move away and the power of darkness takes off.

James Robison - It is said that a mans spiritual life can be measured by his wife's countenance. If you see the glory of God on your wife and her countenance, you know you have a walk with God.

Andrew Wommack - God cannot be angry or mad nor rebuke you for anything. (Isa 54:9) " So I have sworn, I will not be mad at you, nor rebuke you."

Dr. James Merritt - If eternal life cannot be earned or by being good, then it can't be lost by being bad.

Donnie Swaggert - A broken clock still works twice a day.

David Demola - For as many as are of the works of the law, (Gal 3:10), fasting to move God is works.

Jimmy Swaggert - While the sin nature is not dead, we are dead to sin nature by the cross.

Andrew Wommack - Unbelief comes through your thought process.

Charles Capps - If you find yourself in a hole, quit digging.

Morris Cerello - 5:25 P.M. Friday 11/19/10...Called my wife and I about the Devil attacking our finances. He quoted, "no weapon formed against us shall prosper." (Isa 54:17)...It was an automated voice from him, the timing was unbelievably perfect.

T D Jakes - When you run out of strength and can't take no more, the Lord says, "That is what I have been waiting for, and when you run out of strength, that's when mine kicks in."

Creflo Dollar - Salvation is free, but the anointing will cost you everything you have.

Frank Summerfield - If you are right with God and speak the word, it's the same as God speaking the word.

Charles Capps - The angel's hearken to the voice of God's word. We are the voice of God in confessing the word. When confessing the word, it's the angel's job to see that it comes to pass. Some will say, "Well bless God, I gave and don't expect something in return, and that's like a farmer planting corn and not expecting a harvest, so they mise well just plow it under."

Andrew Wommack - All blessings of God once received by faith cannot be reversed.

Mike Murdock - Most Christians feel that God is controlling their lives. The bible does not teach that. 331 times, the bible says, "If you will do this, this is what will happen. God is not in control of everything that happens on the earth."

Charles Capps - Some of the faith folks think that God is a big slot machine in the sky pulling the handle. Slot machines are a gamble. There is no gamble in God's word, it works every time you work it.

Clarance McChellen - It is very difficult for a man to fall when he's on his face.

Morris Cerello - God does not intend you to face your financial problems in your own limited strength or understanding. So stop struggling!

Creflo Dollar - I can't tell you how much I don't care, I cast all my cares, all my worries, all my anxieties, over to God because he cares for me.

Charles Capps - When we give voice to God's word, that may be the only audible voice of God you may ever here. But it gives the angels the assignment, and they get involved in your everyday life, if you will keep God's word in your mouth. His words are spirit and they are life.

Bill Winston - I can tell whether faith or worry is on someone, because I can see it on his or her face.

Frank Summerfield - You can have what you say, so be careful what you do say.

Joseph Prince - If the blood of the bulls and goats cover their sins each year, how much more of the precious blood of Jesus cleanse our sins and our future sins.

Whew! Finally got done. Again, every quote here is what I have heard and none is made up. If this post blesses you in someway then I am asking for donations of "blessings" and "reps." :D

Point taken Si_monfaith.... (please review the initial heading (above) that's listed below for anyone to comment on).

If you have ever heard R. W. Schambach minister... he was another Jesse Duplantis type that (at times) adds humor to controversial, debatable issues, etc. On many occasions when Schambach would minister at our church, he would say, "Once again, here I am at Only Believe Ministries Church in Botkins, Ohio... right smack dab in the middle of a corn field."

As far as Schambach's quote highlighted (above), it was definitely a little of (all five). Several of our forum friends have posted positive comments following this Special Quotes page. I really don't see what you commented on here that (may) lead someone to trust in their tithing rather than in what Jesus did on the cross. However, your statement is welcomed and (may) just be necessary in the event that someone would... put their trust in their tithing/giving as suggested. If so, then they need to repent, and... "to be not conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of their minds" (Romans 12-2), with the Word of God in the area of giving.

We got to see him for the last time (here on earth) just two weeks before he went home to glory... (sure miss him).

The Most Important Thing On Earth
-----> "Your Words..." <-----
Part 1

On the very first page of (Genesis 1), the Bible tells us that WORDS are behind everything that happens on this planet. They are what created it. The reason the earth even exists is because in the beginning God said, "Let there be light" (Genesis 1:3). Before those WORDS were spoken, this place was a total mess.

Genesis 1:2
The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. The Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Yet, despite the presence of His mighty power, nothing was happening and... The situation didn't change at all until, God said...

"God said, Let there be a firmament... and it was so" (verse 6-7).

"God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together... and it was so" (verse 9).

"God said, Let the earth bring forth..." (verse 11).

"God said, Let there be lights in the firmament..." (verse 14).

"God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly..." (verse 20).

That's a lot of repetition. But it's there for a reason. It's there not only to reveal the who and the how behind Creation, but to make the point that this is a WORD-created, WORD-dominated universe. It's there so we can see very clearly that "the worlds were framed by the WORD of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear" (Hebrews 11:3). It was God's spoken WORDS of faith.

Sometimes we may hear people say God made this world out of nothing. But that's not true. He made it out of something that can't be seen. He made it with faith-filled words... and He's sustaining it by that same creative force. He is "upholding all things by the WORD of his power" (Hebrews 1:3).

God's WORD is what's holding the whole universe together! His WORD is and always has been the dominating force on this earth. Think about how the Words of God dominated events surrounding the birth of Jesus, for instance. Think about how the prophet Micah said, centuries before it happened, that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem.

So, what happened when they got there? Mary, a virgin, DID give birth to Jesus... which in the natural was totally impossible. But it happened anyway because of the dominating power of God's Word.

Stay tuned for Part 2.... (Kenneth Copeland)

How about a little music to start your day? Let's start out with a mix of the OLD and the NEW that will touch both age groups... The first one is not actually a song, nor is it just about dogs. I think your going to like how it ends up...

Part 2

This is the second series of (Kenneth Copeland's) article of... The Most Important Things on Earth. "Your Words." So, we know what the importance of how you use "Your Words" in life as a believer in Jesus Christ. In...

(Proverbs 18:21) "We know that death or life is in the power of the tongue, or... (your words), and they that Love it will eat it's fruit."

With that thought in mind, the question is "What are you saying now? As a believer, you are a living demonstration of the dominating power of God's Word. You're not just a forgiven sinner, you've been born again of the incorruptible seed of The WORD of God (1 Peter 1:23). Your spirit has been re-created by the same power and substance that caused Jesus to be conceived in Mary's womb.

Talk about proof that... "your words" are the most important things on earth! Words delivered you out of the kingdom of darkness and translated you into the kingdom of God's dear Son. "Your words" spoken of by faith in God enabled you to receive God's gift of eternal salvation.

(Romans 10:10) says, "With the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

That's how your life in God began, and it's how He intends for you to continue living. God wants you to receive everything from Him by speaking words of faith in and through God's Word.

The Holy Spirit is moving in you, over you, and around you, right now... desiring to release his mighty power and improve your life. He's there to heal your body. He's there to, yes... even prosper you financially. He's there to bring to pass for you everything God has promised and provided you... in His WORD. But now, as at Creation, He's waiting on "your words" of faith. Jesus said in...

(Mark 11:23) "Whosoever shall say.. and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things which he says will come to pass; he will have whatsoever he says."

In this verse you see the word say or, says three times... but the three sayings don't mean nothing without... believing in your heart without (any) doubt or unbelief. So, If your body is weak, and you just keep talking (your words)... about how weak you are, you'll continue to be weak. The Holy Spirit won't have anything to move on to change the situation, so it will stay the same. On the other hand, if you do what the Word says in (Joel 3:10), which says, "let the weak say, I am strong," something entirely different will happen. As you say, by words of faith, "I am strong in the Lord and the power of His might. He is my strength and my Redeemer" (Ephesians 6:10; Psalm 19:14), the power of the Holy Spirit will go to work in your body. God's Word spoken with "your words" will dominate the weakened condition, and you will become strong.

The Holy Spirit is waiting for you to give Him something to work with. He's not holding back God's BLESSING. Speak the Word only and make His Words to be ... "your words."

Look for Part 3...

Harry...
Wow! I found this first song so beautiful that I added the second one to be the same group. Enjoy...

Point taken Si_monfaith.... (please review the initial heading (above) that's listed below for anyone to comment on).

"I think you will like what I am presenting of special quotes that I have heard and wrote down of some of our favorite TV ministers in the last couple of years. (In the reader's view), some quotes may be a little, 1- funny, some may, 2- not make sense, some may be, 3- controversial, some may be, 4- debatable, and some you may have already heard. Some you may, 5- not agree with."

His Favorite Quote

"You don't have any problems, all you need is faith in God"

I would have throughly enjoyed a campmeeting with Shambach preaching.
I listen to His sermons often on YouTube, and you are spot on Jessie Duplantis I believe was influnced by Shambach.

Hi Scott... Thanks for quoting. Could you expound on your comment here for our sake and the sake of the viewers. Not sure what your saying or what your relating to, or who. One liner quotes can be a little confusing.

I wonder how many on this entire forum (in all areas) of CF have checked out your (below) Nature Devotions, and the Following His Path Bible lessons blog? I am amazed of the awesomeness of their content that you also continually keep up to date. I hope you don't mind my bringing this up. The forum world needs to know your work here. I hope my advertising this in my post here would help other posters to see these studies of yours (again, awesome). Just one suggestion that (may) help is to increase your font size and darken it one shade up. Just a thought. God bless...

Part 3

This is the third and final series of (Kenneth Copelands) article of... The Most Important Things on Earth. "Your Words." God is waiting for you to stop talking (your words) about how bad your circumstances are and how bad you feel and "start" by saying what God says in His Word. He's waiting for you to believe and consistently declare His Word.

Every one of us, as believers were given the same measure of faith (Romans 12:3). We received it as the gift of God when we were born-again (Ephesians 2:8). It's God's own faith and is faith of the highest quality. If you believe your faith isn't getting the job done in your life, you need to develop it by... feeding on the Word. "Faith comes by hearing, hearing by the Word of God," (Romans 12:7) so that what the Apostle Paul said about the church of Thessalonians can also be said about you: "Your faith grows exceedingly" ( 2 Thessalonians 1:3).

Also, depending on how much attention you give The WORD, your faith can become stronger or, it can become weaker. Your faith can shrivel up, or... it can grow. The choice is yours. He gave you faith and He gave The WORD. What happens now is up to You. Someone... may say, "I know faith is important, but my problem is my job. It doesn't pay enough to get by... much less prosper. It's keeping me broke and making me poor."

Did you notice this someone's words? (his words, your words, their words). It happens to ALL of us time and time again and it doesn't have to. This person's job wasn't his problem. His mouth was the problem. The Bible says...

(Proverbs 13:2) "A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth."

(Proverbs 18:20) "A mans belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.

Notice... These two verses (above) are dependent on the GOOD word coming from your mouth that produces good fruit of "life". But then... you have the following verse (below) that show there is (good or bad) fruit that produces either life or death in the power of the tongue. Either way... (good or bad)... it's "your words"

(Proverbs 18:21) "Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."

So... What should I do now to watch over my mouth?

(Psalms 141:3) "Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips."

Your words of faith filled words will open the door for the Holy Spirit to move; and He can get you a better job, or get you that raise, or that promotion. He can provide you with business opportunities that can bring wealth and riches into your house (Psalms 112:3).

But, if you want Him to do that, though, you can't just leave your Bible sitting on the nightstand. You have to read it and meditate on it to get it in your heart... in abundance! "For out of the abundance of your heart the mouth speaks" (Matthew 12:34).

Remember!... Your faith is NOT based on your feelings. It is totally based on what God's Word says. Also, don't ever quit speaking words of faith for... "Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." (John 4:4). That same power that created this universe is within you.

And finally, remember this also; God is watching over His Word. Why? One reason only. He's watching over it to... perform it. So... speak the WORD and make it "your words" and let Him work miracles for you! (with my emphasis added) thank you... (Kenneth Copeland)

Following His Path - Bible lessons blog

It is not what we know but what we can testify to.

Our learning is not as much book learning as On The Job Training.

If we don't do what we learn we won't really know it. In fact if we fail to do what we are learning after time, what we think we know, is only a deception. James 1:22 NASB “But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.”

Everyone has a foundation to their life. Some make fun the purpose of their life. Others make a career or job as their foundation. Some make their foundation a political philosophy. Matthew 7:24-25 NASB “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.”

The foundation we should make is the Bible. But it is not just knowing the Bible and how it flows from Genesis to Revelation. It is basing your life on the Bible and relying on it through the storms. Notice that the foundation is built before the storm comes. If you wait till the storm comes before attempting to build, it will be washed away as you are building. That is not to say we can't build our house in the storm. But it will take much longer with heart ache.

John 8:31-32 shows the key to freedom through what Jesus taught. “So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

I have heard it taught 100s of times that freedom comes from knowing the word. The Bible teaches that we know the word by remaining in it through life. Continuing in the word means we will stay with it through the storms of life. This is what brings us freedom. When we remain in something through the storms of life, this will testify to the goodness of God. When we give up on the word in a trial, we didn't believe it would work.

Other aspects to continuing in the word is to make Jesus Lord and carrying our cross daily. Luke 9:23; Romans 10:9-10; Romans 12:1-2 If we don't make Jesus Lord and carry our cross, the trials of life will cause the promise of the Scriptures to become bitter. Many reject the Bible because they don't make Jesus Lord and fail to carry the cross of Christ. It is the Lordship of Christ and willingness to suffer in service to Him, that brings the stability through all the world will throw at us through the years.

There are many disagreements in the Christian walk. Churches split over doctrinal differences. Jesus led me to not present Scripture without a testimony when it is a point of contention. These Christian forums have shown the problems we have of sharing spiritual truth. The teaching of James 3:13-18 shows the importance of letting our testimony be the teacher. Especially when there is a point of contention.

“ Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic. 16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing. 17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. 18 And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”

1 Corinthians 8:1-2 explains the problem of knowing something without living it with love. When we live out the Scriptures we are humbled by our weakness when we don't rely on the Holy Spirit to help us. To live out the Scriptures pushes us to love because there is no effective faith without love. Galatians 6:7 says faith works through love. Without love faith is ineffective. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 explains the problem of faith without love. When you talk to someone who knows Bible teaching but hasn't lived it, they come across arrogant and is not pleasant. It is refreshing and encouraging to learn from someone who lives out what he is teaching.

Kenneth Hagin was a preacher that knew what he was teaching. Every page of his books have examples of how he lived out what he had learned from the Bible. You can't argue with a testimony. A testimony will give glory to God, of how He provided the solution in the problem.

The Ministry Of Angels

A NUMBER OF YEARS AGO THE LORD DIRECTED ME TO START TEACHING THE BODY OF CHRIST ABOUT ANGELS. WHEN I TOLD GOD I DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THEM, HE SET ME STRAIGHT...

Neither does anyone else, He said. That's the reason I want you to teach it. It's time the Body of Christ woke up to the supernatural diliverance that I put in the earth for them.

So I began studying about these heavenly beings. I discovered the supernatural ministry of angels in the earth is very real. But how effective they can be depends heavily on you and me. We actually can hinder them from doing what they're created to do. That's why we must understand their ministry and learn how to cooperate with them according to the Word of God.

In Hebrews 1 and 2, we find out that angels are created beings. They aren't born as men are born, nor do they have the same authority as human beings. But they are created with purpose. (Hebrews 1:14) tells us about their ultimate role. "Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?"

The Bible gives us numerous accounts of angelic deliverance and protection. Jesus was always aware of their presence. When arrested, He said, "do you think that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than 12 legions of angels?" (Matthew 26:53).

The apostles Peter and Paul experienced the assistance of angels. On more than one occasion angels delivered Peter from Jail (Acts:18-20). Paul was facing shipwreck, a potentially fatal situation. After much prayer he said, "And now I exhort you to be a good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship. For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given you all that sail with you. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me" (Acts 27:22-25.)

Angels are "mighty" ones who do His commandments, hearkening to the voice of His Word" (Psalm 103:20). They are an important part of the spirit world. Their assignments are very real. God created them to be available at a moment's notice to minister for us, and their ministry includes providing divine protection.

When was the last time you've considered your angels that God gave to every believer... that (not only) surrounds you, but waiting for their asignments? And, if there's no asignments from us... they may step away from you a ways and play checkers all day.

Your Blessed to be... a BLESSING

Harry...

Honeytree: Pioneer
Born Nancy Henigbaum ("Honeytree" being a translation of her family's German name) was born into a family of professional classical musicians. As a teen Nancy Honeytree was drawn toward the hippie kids at her school, University of Iowa High School, eventually drifting into the drug culture. In 1970 she met some Jesus People at her sister's art school, and became one herself. After graduating, she worked at a youth ministry in Ft. Wayne, Indiana called "The Adam's Apple", a part of the Jesus movement, and it was during these years that she began to write songs about her new-found faith, recording her self-titled first album in 1973.[1]

God Accepted The Sin Offering
As seasoned believers, we should all know by now that the Old Covenant law wasn't to make anyone holy. Jesus, who was born under the law was the only one who could obey and keep the law. The reason for that is that the law was (only) given to show mankind that WE need a Savior. If this isn't true, then... Jesus wasted His blood on the cross and His death was in vain (Galatians 2:21).

Under the New Covenant... Jesus said "Ask, and it shall be given unto you" (Matthew 7:7, Mark 11:24, Luke 11:13, John 14:13-14). For the most part, we have been taking our doctrines and preaching to people (from the wrong agreement)... and, further... adding guilt, shame, and condemnation that actually creates the sin cycle that leads to "beating ourselves up." As said, "the law was only given to show that we need a Savior" (worth repeating).

(1 Timothy 1:9) "Know this, that the law was not made for a righteous man, but for the ungodly." Jesus said, "Don't misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish and fulfill their purpose" (Matthew 5:17).

The four gospels are the rendition of Jesus operating under "the law" in which He fulfilled while (under the law)... to establish a New Covenant which took affect after His death, burial, and resurrection when God accepted His sin offering... that opened the door for His provision of eternal life that is available for "whosoever comes" and receive His Amazing Grace...

________________________________________________________________

Be Reconciled With God

Contrary to popular opinion, people don't go to "hell" because of their sins. They go to hell because they (rejected the payment) for their sins. They go to hell because they refused to receive the Savior.

When Christians proclaim, "If you don't quit dipping, cussing, chewing, and doing this and that, God won't accept you." you're (actually) imputing people's sins unto them. You are also demeaning and decreasing the value of Jesus' blood offering sacrifice on the cross.

But God was in Jesus... NOT imputing man's sins unto them. Sin isn't the issue. It's (all a matter of) what people are doing with Jesus. Have they made a commitment of their life to Him, or are they rejecting Him? If someone doesn't receive Jesus as their Savior, they reject the only payment available for their sins. There's no other way to the Father except through His Son (John 14:6).

So if they don't accept the payment for their sins—the Lord Jesus Christ—they'll be rejected and cast into hell, (and again)... not because of their sins, but because of rejecting Jesus. In hell, they'll be held accountable and have to pay for those sins. But the truth is, ALL of those sins have already been paid for by Jesus on the cross. Therefore, sin isn't really the issue. The issue is ----> "What are you going to do with the Lord?"

If YOU have already received the Lord Jesus Christ, then you've been born again. God isn't angry with you over your sin. The Lord wants you to stop focusing on sin and start receiving His Love. God loves you (even though) you don't deserve it. It's called GRACE. He's pleased with you even though you're not pleased with yourself. If you could ever get a picture of the price Jesus paid for your sins, you'd fall head over heels in love with Him. And since faith works by Love, your faith would shoot through the roof!

This is the word that the church should be preaching. God's not angry. He's not even in a bad mood as (Wommack) would say. He loves you and has paid the price for you. Receive Him. Receive His Love. We shouldn't be proclaiming, "If our country doesn't repent, God's going to judge us. The wrath of God is coming!" That's simply not true. God didn't send the terrorists to kill all those people on 9/11. He didn't send all the hurricanes and tsunamis that have ruined cities and swept so many folks away. That wasn't God!

However, a time is coming when this current age of GRACE—(the church age)... WILL come to an end. The book of Revelation makes it very clear that there will come a time when the Lord says, "All right, that's it." At that time, those who have accepted Him will be received into joy and peace, but those who have rejected Him will suffer the wrath of God.

But right now, the Grace of God is extended toward ALL people (not just a selected few) as Calvinism teaches. We should be telling them ALL, "God loves you!" We ought to be saying the same thing the angels sang at the announcement of Christ's arrival on earth. "Glory to God in the highest! Peace on earth from God toward men. God's not angry with you!" Isn't that good news?

Some
Words of Faith

~Cast Your Cares Upon the Lord~

God cares about you affectionately 1 Peter 5:7, and He doesn't want you to carry one burden, one care, or... one worry. Instead, He has provided a way for you to live in peace every day of your life - not just a few days - but every day of your life! You can enjoy the peace of God as you simply act on the Words of Jesus in John 15:7. "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you."

You see, whether or not your prayers are heard and answered depends on you more than it does on God because Jesus told you in this verse how to receive answers to your prayers.

As you abide in Jesus and His Words abide in you, you know what the will of God is before you pray. If His Word promises you something, then it is God's will for you. God is not going to promise you something that's not His will. He would be lying then, and the Bible says that God cannot lie Numbers 23:19.

Many people are waiting for God... to do something. This is where they are missing it. If you wonder why God hasn't answered your prayer, it could be because His Word is not... abiding in you! As long as you're going to fret, worry, and hold on to those things that concern you, God can't do anything about your situation because you've still got it! You haven't given it to Him.

1 Peter 5:7 tells us what to do. "Casting all your care upon him (Jesus) for he (Jesus) careth for you." You can get 999 preachers and half of their wives to pray for you, but as long as you're going to fret and hold on to your cares, you're not going to get any answers... But, if you will learn to turn your cares over to the Lord, He will work on your situation while you're asleep! You can go to sleep without worrying.

It seems to me that Christians would be glad to know what God said in His Word... and that they would be glad to know they could get out from under the burden of worry and anxiety. The Bible tells them exactly how to do it. "Cast all our care" - that means, throw it out there "on Him"
1 Peter 5:7.

The Amplified Bible says,"Casting the whole of your care, all of your anxieties, all of your concerns, all of your worries once and for all." Don't do it every day - casting your cares on the Lord and then taking them back again. No, do it once and for all; then that's the end of it! Cast your cares upon the Lord because He cares about you... affectionately!
