Their objective remains unchanged. When it comes to needing any grounds for impeachment, they have simply switched from "Russian Collusion" to "Just Because," that's all.It probably will. But I wonder also what it will do to all those who pinned their hopes on Mueller finding evidence of collusion.

Didn't the top Democrat in the country just say like a week ago they will not be going after an impeachment?Their objective remains unchanged. When it comes to needing any grounds for impeachment, they have simply switched from "Russian Collusion" to "Just Because," that's all.

I was skeptical about Pelosi as the Speaker but since then, I've come to really appreciate the counterbalance of logic and restraint that she brings to the House. She said she wanted to wait for the results of the Mueller investigation to see if there was anything to try to impeach the president for. Many dems didn't like that, but it's looking to have been the right decision.
Well yeah, what could he even be impeached for? "Just because" and "don't like him" aren't grounds for it, and that's all they've got.I don’t see Trump being impeached, especially now. Having Trump impeached and Pence taking his place isn’t optimal for Democrats... Pence is harder to beat in an election and it would leave him open to having 10 years in office.
I see this as a “wait out the clock” scenario and him being charged with a ton of things after he leaves office. I think/hope jail is his eventual destination.
Finances and the emolument clause of the constitution. Trumps failure to divest himself of his financial interests leaves him wide open to impeachment.Well yeah, what could he even be impeached for? "Just because" and "don't like him" aren't grounds for it, and that's all they've got.
I really wouldn't be surprised if he's waiting until right before the elections. Nothing out of order, perfectly legit, letting the media and Democrats run with "what's he hiding, he's so corrupt" so he can release them and say, see, they lied about collusion, they lied about my taxes, they are the enemy of the people and I'm your guy.Finances and the emolument clause of the constitution. Anybody seen his tax returns? When ‘crooked’ Hillary can release hers, and your candidate refuses to and deliberately lies about it....
When your candidate describes his opponents as ‘enemies of the people’ you are on the wrong side.I really wouldn't be surprised if he's waiting until right before the elections. It's a gender-flipped Benghazi; why would it be anything else?
