In addition, I've been seeing a lot of reports of U.S. reconnaissance aircraft near North Korea over the past two days, but can't find any official sources on that yet. The situation between Hamas and Israel is also one to watch closely. The organization is under enormous pressure right now, and is acting much more unhinged lately (i.e. terrorist attacks on IDF soldiers and launching missiles at Tel Aviv). With Purim, the Jewish new year (and end of the 70-year fig tree generation) and the Israeli elections coming up, things could get interesting.

Christchurch shootings leave 49 people dead after two mosque attacks. Here's what we know
ps://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-03-15/christchurch-shootings-what-we-know/10904982

Forty-nine people have been killed in shootings at two separate mosques in the New Zealand city of Christchurch.

One man has been charged with murder and three others are in custody. Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has confirmed one of them is Australian.
Looks like even Muslims aren't exempt from fanatic religious hatred, as also is the case with Jews and Christians.

Jesus warned about that in John 16:

John 16:
1 These I have spoken to ye that no ye may be being snared<4624>.
2 Putting out<656> of the Synagogues they shall be doing ye,
but is coming an hour that every the one killing<615> ye should be supposing a divine service<2999> to the GOD
3 They will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor Me.
4 But I have told you these things, so that when the time comes, you may be remembering that I told you about them. I didn't tell you these things from the beginning, because I was with you.

Matthew 23:34
Because of this behold!
I am commissioning toward ye Prophets and Wisemen and Scribes.
Out of Them ye shall be killing<615> and ye shall be crucifying

Luke 11:49
Thru this and the wisdom of the God said: "I shall be commissioning into them Prophets and Apostles,
and out of Them they shall be killing<615>and shall be pursuing<1559>

Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke's Temple/Jerusalem Discourses harmonized
Matt 24:9

Matthew 24:9
then they shall be delivering ye up into tribulation, and they shall be killing<615> Ye,
and ye shall be being hated by all of the nation thru/because-of the Name of Me

It's very interesting this occurred on Purim.

Also keeping an eye on a potential anti-Christ candidate, known as Raymond Elwood Lear, a.k.a. "Lord Rayel." He honestly believes he is the Jewish messiah and a son of David. He already has quite a following, and was anointed / proclaimed as the "messiah" on Purim, just as "predicted" in the Torah codes. There was no official recognition or announcement by the Sanhedrin however; this guy has basically been hiding under the radar in recent years. But, some of the rabbis may believe him. He could just be another false prophet to add to the mix, but I do believe this is worth paying attention to.

Things should really get interesting now that we are nearing the end of the 70 years of Israel's re-emergence as a nation, and the upcoming Israeli elections. Hmm Yes, I can agree.
It does certainly seem like things have escalated between the U.S. and Russia lately. Russia used to bully us by flying bombers near our coastline, and now we are doing the same thing to them. If Russia is allowed to maintain a base in Venezuela, that could be a major setback for us militarily.

Rocket hits home in the Sharon region
Rocket hits home in the Sharon region
A rocket fired from Gaza early Monday morning hit a house in a moshav in the Sharon region.

Magen David Adom reported that six of the residents of the home received medical treatment, including a 50-year-old woman in light to moderate condition, as well as a man and a woman and two babies who suffered light injuries.

In addition, several victims were treated for shock, as well as a number of individuals who were suffered light injuries while making their way to a protected area.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was briefed on the rocket fire at the Sharon region, his office said.

In the next few minutes, a security consultation will be held with the Chief of Staff, the head of the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), the head of the NSC and senior security officials.

This is a significant provocation of the Gaza factions towards Israel. Neither side wants war, but a ground operation into Gaza may be necessary at this point. We'll see how Israel responds, but a swift, fierce retaliation is certainly expected.

It does certainly seem like things have escalated between the U.S. and Russia lately. Russia used to bully us by flying bombers near our coastline, and now we are doing the same thing to them. If Russia is allowed to maintain a base in Venezuela, that could be a major setback for us militarily.
Yes, It reminds me of the Russian attempt to place missiles in Cuba under President Kennedy. That was a very intense and scary time.

This imho is inviting war. What do the Hamas expect? Yes Israel will retaliate swiftly and fiercely and they should.

I think Hamas and the other factions (Iran's proxies) are attempting to bait Israel into a war; it's what they want. I remember hearing they were already prepared for one, and Iran is looking for an excuse to attack. If Israel is occupied with Gaza, Hezbollah may also flank them through Lebanon, and Syria / Russia / Iran from the north at the same time - which Israel has prepared for in advance. This could very well lead to the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38 & 39, Psalm 83 (as you mentioned), Isaiah 17 and possibly more.

So far, it doesn't look like a ground operation will take place as of yet, but that may change. The terrorists have warned they will retaliate to any Israeli strikes, and Israel is threatening war if they do. Some ground assets are already standing by at the Gaza border. A war will also most certainly lead to the cancellation of the elections.

Dadi Perlmutter: In response to Hamas rockets, invest in Gaza's economy
"The solution to the situation in Gaza is not military,” Perlmutter charged. “The State of Israel should encourage Israeli entrepreneurs and others from the international community to establish businesses along the Gaza Strip and provide a source of income for its residents.”

Strikes between Israel and Gaza have been intense over the past few hours, and are still ongoing at this very moment. Netanyahu is hinting that a ground operation in the strip may be likely at this point (although, I'm sure he would want to avoid that at all costs if possible). This skirmish is one of the worst since the 2014 Israel / Gaza war from what I've heard, and may erupt into another full-blown war.

The situation between Gaza and Israel seems calm for the most part now; all strikes between the two have ceased. Although, numerous IED balloons are still being released into southern Israel, and there are more terrorist attacks ongoing near the border - including against IDF soldiers. This is definitely not over.

Things are expected to escalate again this weekend, due to the annual March of Return protests. Israel is remaining prepared, and the situation could flare up again at any moment. Netanyahu has threatened a ground operation if necessary. Israeli military assets continue to build up along the Gaza border, to help bolster their defenses and to prepare for a possible incursion I'm sure.

The Gaza border area slowly returned to normal on Tuesday, a day after a sharp spike in violence between Gaza and Israel that led local councils to close schools, roads and train routes throughout southern Israel.

Defense officials said Tuesday afternoon they believed the danger of an escalation in violence had passed for the time being, with Israel and Hamas reportedly reaching an informal ceasefire.

Denying ceasefire, Israeli official warns Gaza conflagration 'not over yet'

Schools remained closed on Tuesday morning and all non-essential outdoor work near the border was restricted as part of directives issued by the IDF home front command for residents of the Gaza border region, signalling possible preparations for a wider operation to come.

On Monday, the IDF deployed two infantry units and one artillery brigade to reinforce troops at the border, while calling up thousands of reservists to man air defenses.

Gazan militant factions have threatened to ramp up rocket fire so long as the Israeli strikes continue, but are also reportedly under pressure from Egypt to suspend activities related to the so-called "Great March of Return" protests, which are due to climax over the weekend as they mark one year since their launch on March 30, 2018.

Israel just struck Iranian target(s) in Aleppo, Syria minutes ago. The attack caused a city-wide blackout, and Syrian air defenses were activated. Casualties were reported.

Supposedly, this could be due to an imminent Gaza operation, as Israel is expecting reprisals from Hezbollah / Iran. Things are really picking up lately, and are expected to further escalate this weekend.
