I see so on the basis of a series of "ifs" "maybes" and" possiblys" a definitive conclusion is reached . Sheesh
I wouldn't be making too much out of my wording. As for his possible connections with Wagner, the connection does exist in that Currie is a proponent of the New Apostolic Renewal but as they are not willing to commit themselves then all I can do is to acknowledge that Currie and Wagner are on the same band wagon.

If nothing else, whenever someone proudly declares their Apostolic leanings in this day and age, it means one of two things, that they believe in the regional alignment of Apostles which is what their statement of faith implies or that they have absolutely no idea as to what they are doing.

In the end. . . does it affect his teachings on healing, probably not.

I'm sorry but you make no sense whatsoever
All I see that you have done is stick the knife in and you wiggling it about to see if you can find the jugular

I started listening to Curry Blake a few months ago and his DHT training was certainly an eye opener and a great blessing to me.

We've had a similar training done in our church (which is the reason why I eventually ended up reading about JGLM and DHT). Is there anybody here (for those who listened to his training) who actually started to pray for people? I have started praying for a few of my friends and I've seen some results (loss of pain, headaches, stomachache, arm growing). Most of them are not instant (except for the arm) and it usually takes a few minutes or sometimes even a few hours. Anyone?

yes TasManofGod I agree with you very much. Even if we just began praying for the sick, step out of our comfort zone, we would see much more healings then we do now. I have listened to him and have his material saved, I agree with most of it. There are a few things he says I dont go along with but those are not IMO serious problems, just differences in how people minister to others. We arent all called to be just like Curry Blake, we are called each of us to something...find what it is, and step out in faith!

I finally got around to listening to the first teaching video. Here is a few highlights.

His first major point is that his teaching focus is equipping believers to do the works , not in having one specially gifted minister healing people. He is there to train whosoever will to do the healing. He says it is all about Jesus doing the healing through believers and not about exalting one gifted person to do all the healing. The focus should be on Jesus , not a specific person.

He then has a short caution about staying balanced and not going off into an out of balance tangent.

His second major point is that he sees the scripture as giving two reasons for failure in this subject of healing. The first is unbelief which he says should not apply to any of those in audience since they are all believers. The second reason he sees is tradition. He says if we can get rid of man's traditions and get back to just the Bible , then we will succeed at healing.

He then gives another caution that absolute confidence in God's word can come across to some as arrogance and cause offend. He cautions to not mistake confidence that God will do exactly what he said he would do with arrogance. He says his confidence is in God's word , not in himself.

He mentions Lester Sumerall and Wigglesworth as men he looks up to.

He then tells several testimonies of miracles that happened in Africa where he ministered.

His third major point is that healing is in the atonement.
yes thanks for that summary :)

IMHO if there was more adherence to the methods expounded by John G Lake and Currie Blake there would be very little sickness in the Body of Christ.

sometimes the issues which lead to arguments in here are all in the delivery ;)
the first page or so praises the virtues of "a man" . the reality is "if there is more adherence to the leading of the Holy Spirit in Our hearts and lives then Christ will live in us in fullness and he, in us, will do miracles in greater number then he, as a single person on earth, ever did

The thing which troubles most about this kind of topic is folks get beated about healing sermons and ministries...

But to whom will they run first when they percieve them selves ill.. God... Or man. .. This is a telling thing .

Have you listened to what Currie Blake did when he had a serious foot injury? There is no better example than him to answer you concerns.
He goes to great lengths to stress that if you talk the talk you walk the walk.

I have been studying his material now for a couple of months. I am impressed. It is all Bible based and there is no problem with that. I have been praying for other for a long time now (I am now 68) and Curry's training has allowed me to take it to the next level. I am more conscious about those around me that outward signs reflect a need for prayer. I stop and give them prayer and move on. I hope to attend a DHT seminar in May with my wife.

I'm not referring to his background. And neither am I working with hearsay. Just use wisdom my brother.
What I have learned fomr Cutry is to believe the Bible. Have courage to believe. Do not shrink back into unbelief.
