Priest stabbed during Mass at St. Joseph's Oratory in Montreal

Wow. Sad. I have a similar story. Well, sort of.

My parish has a hall attached to it that we occasionally rent out to the public for their social functions. Anyway, one evening like a couple years ago I was at church for a Vespers services as usual. Nothing out of the ordinary except that the hall was also rented out that night. So okay, I went to the service and about part-way through one of the people, presumingly from the hall, came storming in and started yelling at the priests. He was some atheist or something so was ranting about religion and God.

There was another time where some kids were standing outside peering through the windows mocking us for worshipping God.

Where things are happening like that in a church, it would be prudent to employ a couple of very large but very nice male ushers preferably with a professional wrestling background!

Is it normal practice in Canada that the name of the person arrested not released until they are formally charged?
