Jesus's discples dont have to flee. They dont have to go anywhere.

The coming of Christ is as it was in the days of Noah. While Noah was preparing for the flood, thr multitude did thier everyday deeds, untill the dsy Noah entetd the ark and closed the door.
The multitude was washed away and Noah remained on the earth to a ripe old age.
So,shall it be in the end .Two,will be in,the field. One will be taken away as the multitude and one will be left as Noah was left.

Those who belong to Christ dont flee. The mutitude does. They have a reason too.

This doesn't address Luke 21:36

Luke 21:36 So keep watch at all times, and pray that you may have the strength to escape all that is about to happen, and to stand before the Son of Man

So you believe an,old crippled woman cant stanf before Jesus becsusr she wouldmt be physically able to flee as fast as someone such as OJ Simpson?

You believe if you can run faster you will have a better chance of being saved?

Let me ask you this. What if the crippled woman doest worship thebeast or recieve his mark, wouldnt she have a better chance of being saved than someone who runs fast?

Why should those who are deliverd flee?If you are protected, why would you flee?

Daniel 12:1 At that time Michael, the great prince who stands watch over your people, will rise up. There will be a time of distress such as never has occurred from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people--everyone whose name is found written in the book--will be delivered.

You have escaped thosr things if you are saved.

The saved Jews were told to flee before the great wrath that would come upon them if they stayed in Jerusalem and Judea. But even if killed, they were still promised to be resurrected and given eternal life

Daniel 12:1
"And in that time/season Michael shall stand-up, the great chief prince, the one standing over sons of thy people. And a time of distress<06869>, which not occurred since to become of a nation until that time.
And in that time, thy people escape<4422>, every of the one being found written in scroll. [Luke 21:23-36]

Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke's Temple/Jerusalem Discourses harmonized
Matt 24:19 woe to those pregnant and nursing

Luke 21:23
23 “But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people.
36 “Yet be being vigilant/watching in every season, beseeching that ye should be being strong to be escaping<1628> all these, the being about to be becoming, and to stand before the Son of the Man.

1 Thessalonians 5:3
For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman.
And they shall not escape<1628>.

Show me the verse that says those who flee are saved
The ones the didn't flee to the mountains before Jerusalem was cut off during the siege were either killed or taken captive.

Daniel 11:33
And ones being intelligent of people they shall cause to understand to many-ones,
and they stumble<3782> in sword and in blaze<3852>, in captivity<7628> and in plunder days<3117>
[Sword and captive/captivity are mentioned together in only 2 verses of the NT:]

Captivity and sword Luke 21:24 Revelation 13:10

Luke 21:24
And they shall be falling to mouth of sword and they shall be being led captive into all the nations.
And Jerusalem shall be being trodden by nations until which may be being filled times of nations.
[Deuteronomy 28:68/Reve 11:2/13:10]

Revelation 13:10

If any to-captivity into captivity is going away.
If any in sword to be killed, is binding him in sword to be killed.

The Destruction of Jerusalem

The day on which Titus encompassed Jerusalem, was the feast of the Passover................

Of the Jews destroyed during the siege, Josephus reckons not less than ONE MILLION AND ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND, .................
Of the captives the whole was about NINETY-SEVEN THOUSAND.

........the tallest and most beautiful youths, together with several of the Jewish nobles were reserved by Titus to grace his triumphal entry into Rome.
After this selection, all above the age of seventeen were sent in chains into Egypt, to be employed there as slaves,
or distributed throughout the empire to be sacrificed as gladiators in the amphitheatres ;
whilst those who were under this age, were exposed to sale.[Deuteronomy 28:68]

Josephus said about 1 million jews died in 70 ad.Scholars say thats impossible because only about 1 million people lived iin Palestine during that time and half of them, were jewish many jews remained in the area even after the dispora.

80 million people died in WW2.
Which sounds worse to you?

This notion that the higher the body count = the greater the tribulation is easily shown to be nonsense.

Let's say 50 people die instantly in an explosion.
Let's also say 4 people are slowly tortured to death for 2 weeks.

Which group suffered GREATER tribulation?
The 50 or the 4?

Ugghh... this again?
Comparing scripture with scripture quickly demonstrates this usage of "ever was nor ever shall be":

Scripture tells us in 1 Kings 3:12 that there was "no king like Solomon before or after him." Such statements are then repeated in 2 Kings 18:5-6 of Hezekiah and in 2 Kings 23:25 of Josiah. Obviously, they can't all be the greatest King there ever was nor ever shall be. (And, of course, Jesus Christ surpasses even Solomon -- Matt. 12:42). Furthermore, this same Old Testament idea of "never will be again" is employed of various judgments that have already been fulfilled such as locusts in Egypt (Ex. 10:12-15; cf. Joel 1:1-4), a cry in Egypt (Ex. 11:6), and judgment upon O.T. Israel (Ez. 5:9; Joel 2:2). The Ezekiel 5:9 passage is especially instructive to us, for it states that the Babylonian conquest of Israel (sixth-century BC) would be the greatest judgment God had ever brought upon a nation, past or future. Therefore, we recognize that the expression "ever was/nor ever shall be" is a common Hyperbolic Hebraic idiom that the prophets of God used quite frequently.

St. Luke's account of this great tribulation reads as follows:
"These are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people." (Luke 21:22-23)

Without question, Jesus promised his apostles that they would live to see Israel's great tribulation ("great distress in the land and wrath upon this people") and all those things come to pass in their generation (Matthew 24:33-34; Luke 21:31-32).

Even so, AD 66-70 was the greatest Day-of-the-Lord event in Israel's history, and was, unquestionably, the one Christ's followers spoke of mere decades before it transpired. This was the same Day of the Lord concerning which the apostles stated they would remain alive unto its passing (1 Thess 5:2-4,23; Phil 1:6,10; Heb 10:25,36-39; 1 Cor 1:7-8; 1 Cor 5:5). Due to the covenantal significance of the event, that Day of the Lord's vengeance (cf. Luke 21:20-22; Isa 61:2; Jer 46:10) can never be repeated.

That bears repeating.

Due to the covenantal significance of the event, that Day of the Lord's vengeance (cf. Luke 21:20-22; Isa 61:2; Jer 46:10) can never be repeated.

There is no equal to the level of devastation millions of Messiah-rejecting Jews endured as they were violently excommunicated out of covenant with God (Matt 21:40-45; Acts 3:22-24).

Takes place at the same time.
Funny thing is the prophecy tells the exact date the abomination of desolation is placed three and a half years in advance giving anyone with ears that hear a lengthy warning.
Ofcourse anyone whocannot understand Danie's prophecy would be caught unaware when the time comes and will fleefor thier lives.

Let the Jews figure that out. It is afterall their Scriptures.

Where is the abomination of desolation of Daniel, Matt and Mark shown in Revelation

Where in Revelation is shown the AoD mentioned in Daniel, Matthew and Mark?
Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks

IN Daniel, we have this shown:

Daniel 12:11
And-from-time he-is-taken-away the-continually, and-to-give-of an-abomination, one-desolating, thousand, two hundreds, and ninety days

It is repeated twice in the Olivet Discourse:

Matthew 24:15
Whenever then ye may be seeing the abomination of the desolation, the being declared thru Daniel the prophet, having-stood in a place, holy
(the one-reading let him be minding/understanding)

Mark 13:14
`Whenever yet ye may be seeing the abomination of the desolation, the being declared thru Daniel the prophet, having-stood where not it is binding,
(the one-reading let him be minding/understanding),
then those in the Judea, let them be fleeing into the mountains

However, Luke does not mention it in his Gospel, but he does mention this:

Luke 21:20
Whenever yet ye may perceiving/seeing Jerusalem being encompassed by armies/stratopedwn <4760>,
then be knowing that is nigh/egguV <1451> the desolating of Her...[Revelation 18:19]

John also uses the phrase "....the one reading...." that is used in Matt 24:15 and Mark 13:14:

Revelation 1:3
Blessed/happy the one reading/anaginwskwn <314> (5723) and the ones hearing, the Logos/Words of the Prophecy, and keepings in it having been written,
for the season/time/kairoV <2540> is nigh/egguV <1451>.

And this is shown in Luke 21:20, also of the Olivet Discourse:

Revelation 18:19
And they cast dust upon their heads and cried-out, weeping and mourning, saying "Woe! Woe! the great City, wherein all were made rich, that had ships at sea, by reason of her prices.
That to one hour She was desolated/hrhmwqh <2049> (5681) .
