Just curious what is your opinion on the churches today that refuse to preach anything on "prophecy or end times doctrines".
I have met a couple recently that refuses to teach anything at all related to prophecy because it is so debatable between people and not many agree?

They say that it is really irrelevant!!

I disagree personally for several reasons.
Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

It depends. In our church, we do expositional preaching, working our way through each book, verse by verse. If we get to it, it will be discussed.

Revelation is seen more like an epistle in our churches, than a book full of futurist prophecies, so we preach from it like we do from Galatians or Hebrews.

I voted yes in keeping with Luke 12:56. Although this verse specifically refers to the times at hand its referring to acting in urgency because of what lies ahead whether by death or the Lord's coming judgement upon the inhabitants of the earth in the end times.

This is the most common view of the book of Revelation in my church also: it was a book written to a persecuted church to give them hope, and to say that in the end, God would make all things right. Thus, yes, much like the epistles, but in more figurative language.

It should be discussed since we should try to seek the truth in everything but it is not as important or relevant as other teachings. In all likelihood, we will not be alive when the end times begin so we should prioritize other teachings that are actually applicable to our life today.

Well honestly, the oldest Churches do not read the Revelation liturgically. So your question opens up a whole nother can of worms.

Can you name one prophecy that had value before it was filled?
