"[Jesus] said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. It is written: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors’ and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment.”This is the firearms thread after all.
The first rule of tyrrany is to take away the weapons from their subjects...
There's a difference between "owning a sword" (for self defense) and "living by the sword" (using a sword to force your agenda unto others). Jesus even encouraged His disciples to buy short swords. That should clear things up!
Heres a ridiculously large looking Glock with aftermarket parts on it. I mean for me it looks impractical. Especially if you have a CWC. lol. On a side note I've seen a pistol that essentially looked like a large HMG, even had a bipod and a massive scope.
One thing I have direct experience with is HBRE. Human Body Real Estate, and it is just that. How many can you carry at one time and if you were in a position to need them, what do you have that is the most accurate and efficient. Personally, I have tried to carry 13 firearms at one time and while it is not impossible, it is certainly impractical. So, what advantage is this in converting the Glock pistol into just a different horse of another color? It still takes up room on your body but now, it takes up rifle space. Would that same rifle space be better utilized as a .223 or .308?One practical thing it does is give it a shoulder stock and a forward holding point which would make it easier to hold steady, just as a rifle is easier to hold steady than a pistol. Mech Tech sells uppers for some handguns that fit onto the pistol's frame with the slide removed, making into a rifle-like firearm. I thought of getting one for my XD9, but the cost of the attachment is the same price as buying a complete Ruger PC9 which is overpriced itself.

Just as a matter of thinking the grass was greener, I sold my HiPoint 9mm Carbine and bought the Ruger PC9. I paid twice as much for the PC9,
I paid $425.00 plus the tax and fees like below but through Davidsons Gun Genie - but that was on a sale. Now it is back up now that everybody wants one. Is it worth it? I had to work on mine to get consistent ejection due to a shallow dip on the ejector latch. As I said, knowing what I know now if I didn't already have the Ruger SR9 and 4 magazines (now 5 with the one the came with the PC9) I would have gone with the HiPoint if my only issue was wanting to shoot 9mm pistol caliber. If you don't mind my asking, how much did you pay for your PC9? I've been wanting a good 9mm carbine for awhile, and the PC9 looks great and has great online reviews. The prices I've seen seem a bit high though. In the comments in the reviews I've seen, people commented on that and even thought $450 was rather high. At my local Fleet Farm, they're $500, and at Scheels they're $550. On top of that, SR9 magazines are priced at $45. Ruger SR9 P-19/17 9mm 17rd SS Magazine
I don't have a Glock or an SR9, but I do have a Springfield XD9 with several mags. Too bad an aftermarket adaptor hasn't been made for the PC9 to use those. That would be perfect for me!

Oh, yea, I guess your local store might be better. My store is Believers Pawn in Tomball. Good Christian who runs a fair deal all the time. When I go in and want to look at a knife he just throws me the keys and says, Lock it up when you are finished. It all depends on the where you are and what deals they want to cut. Believers Pawn always has the best price of all, usually 20-30.00 less than the highest.Looks like you got a good deal! When I go to their site, the best quote I get is $552.98.

Yes, very good people. I have paid more than something was marked because it was worth it and in turn he has given me good prices under the marked price without even asking.Sounds like a great business to have in your area! ABOUT | believerspawn
