ON a Christian forum ... I would have hoped that many people would offer prayers - about a topic like this one.

Please remember, there is Evil in the world and it is growing. Promoting arguments only fuels more conflicts, and that helps the Devil directly.

We need to spend more time on our knees. The Spiritual Battle in the world today is very strong.

Blessings!

There has been a report of mass shootings in two mosques in Christchurch in New Zealand.

What we know about how the Christchurch shootings unfolded

I think so far about 49 people have been died. Initial reports seem to indicate the shootings were due to an extremist right wing group -

Live: 49 killed in terror attacks at NZ mosques, man charged with murder

This won't do Australia or New Zealand any good in the eyes of Moslems. It's very unusual for New Zealand to have a massacre of any type.

There have been mass shootings in churches, houses of worship, but I can't remember one that spanned two locations. The shooter was able to shoot up one house of worship, then leave the scene and shoot up another one. I can only hope this doesn't happen again.

I'll tell you what I saw a few hours after the first fragmentary news reports on the Mosque shootings on US TV, which came to us Thursday evening, US time. The next morning, I went to a bank. As I stood in line to see a teller, the man behind me was wearing a black tee shirt. It had a picture of a scimitar eclipsed by a cross and the words "This Means War."

I was afraid to ask the man what that meant.

Agreed and I also pray that through the Muslim world that retaliation for this wicked crime will not be carried out.

Hi your progressive values and tolerance of sin is what departing form the faith is about . The love of all includes all sinners but Paul said to put those who are involved in immorality out the the church let it not even be named among you. The preacher must condemn, inappropriate content, lust, adultery, fornication and homosexuality. The gospel is repent and believe. Your gospel has no repentance. The book of Revelation speaks to the churches warnings to two churches about allowing sexual immorality. “But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. “Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow[fn] that woman[fn] Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce[fn] My servants to commit sexual immorality.
God still protests this and we therefor need define what is sexual immorality. The verse I quoted about departing from the faith would indicate that the ideas held would be changed out for something new. Your progressive values are new and have not been held for over 1900 years. The tolerance of homosexulaity is a new thing. Is it a doctrine of demon? You tell me. Here is a quote by Anton Levey author of the Satanic Bible. He said this about television in the 1960's .
"Television is the major mainstream infiltration for the new satanic religion."

"It should be brought out that we not only condone, but encourage all types of what would be called sexual perversity and deviations because we feel that in a few short years it will be established that everyone is a sexual deviant and pervert.

In the Satanic Bible, "LaVey explained that he was moved to establish the Church of Satan when he saw the need for a church that would "recapture man's body and carnal desires as objects of celebration."

"The Church of Satan preaches a religious system that endeavors to overcome the repressions and inhibitions of human instinctual behavior it believes has been fostered by the Judeo-Christian tradition."

Note the 2nd quote and then think about gay pride parades and see if they are not in line with this philosophy put out by Lavey and have they not cast of the repression of Christian tradition?

Everyone wants to be on the side of right and today we have substituted the definition of right to be accepting, tolerant, and for equality and the broadening definition of these terms includes many things that contradict the old virtues of holiness, piety, chastity, righteousness.
The movement you support now extends to transgender rights and these rights are being used to transform society. This is the caboose on the train of moral decline and as Romans one speaks of people are given over to a debased mind.
The preacher must condemn all sin among the believers.
To the world the believers must speak the Gospel.

Dreadful and evil though it is, this massacre is nowhere near the evils that previous centuries have seen, you only have to read a little history to know that.
Things like this are no sign of the second coming, otherwise he would have come during those much worse times.
My point was that things worldwide are getting worse as the Bible says. I don't think anyone can say that in general (excluding world wars) things have ever been in such a mess.

Every day is one day closer to Christ's return.
We need to watch and pray for people to turn to Jesus whilst there is still time.

Now the news is saying anyone who supports Trump supports what happened because this guy loved Trump. Really? This guy was a far right extremist. One who also loved the Axis and Hitler. The normal right doesn't support this sort of stuff....ever.

You know it took place in NZ right? By an Australian?

I'm curios as to how they figured this out so fast? Or was it the usual wishful thinking?

I heard that prior to that the shooter recorded him reading a manifesto called "The Great Replacement" that involves the idea of the great replacement, which is an ideology that the white christian/catholics are being pushed out and systematically replaced due to the increase population of non-whites,specifically middle easterns and north-Africans.So a white genocide.People call it a conspiracy, but in the wake of seeing a growth of no-go zones in certain countries, I feel there is some truth to it. I don't think its something systematic no geared towards whites. Not yet.

I feel like it good to note that right-wing, doesn't totally equate to political parties. Every culture has a left and right idealogy. But what makes it toxic is their proposed solution, in which violence is almost always involved. Both ideologies end goal that everyone must be a right or must be a left, there's no middle ground. In political parties although they usually hold key ideas, it's mostly due to policies they more favor, and not necessarily how one should think.

It's becoming very blurred though, as there's a lot more thought policing and the dangers that identity politics are manifesting.

I was alarmed yesterday when I read the comments on Fox News under the article about this incident. About 50% of them were either making excuses/supporting the shooter or making comments about Muslim lives being worthless/deserving to die. Fox News comment section is full of Trump supporters. So who is “ the normal right” these days?
I'm not so certain if people realize the miserable state of affairs Europe, Australia, New Zealand and now Canada are in. It all stems from Islamic emigration which is one of the reasons why you see Europe burning right now. The other reason is all the radical leftists who are deliberately--and I mean deliberately--supporting Islamic jihad over their own nations. There are Islamic jihad attacks happening every month in Eurostan and its only when the people of these nations retaliate by shooting up mosques that we see tears. I find that very disturbing on so many levels.

I neither condemn or condone the attacks on the mosques. I knew this would eventually happen back in 2015. We are at war and in war soldiers get killed. The sooner people see the reality that this is a real war, a very dangerous war, the sooner we can elect responsible leaders who will do the right thing and deport all muslims from western nations, or at least America.

What, don't agree with me? That would be sad and disturbing. As long as we allow these jihad fighters in our country the jihad attacks and retaliations are never going to end. Its going to go on and on until the muslims destroy us. They are known to wait centuries until they conquer a nation.

The big problem in America is that most Americas know little about Islamic teachings.

Been reading a lot of Breitbart and alt- right YouTube videos? You are misinformed. My friends in Europe say that, just as in the U.S., white nationalists grossly exaggerate the situation. The people of New Zealand are shocked by the attack on Muslims. Europe isn’t “burning.” And I HAVE studied Islamic teachings. There are fewer calls to violence in the Quran than their are in the Old Testament. If you won’t condemn the mass murder of 50 civilians, you are disturbed.

That is simply and measurably untrue. Violence, murder, war, rape, and hunger occurred at greater rates in the past. Any historian can tell you that.

This is not an issue about immigration. It is not an issue about politics, or nationalism. This was a terrible massacre of innocent people. Perhaps the murderer in New Zealand spoke about politics and nationalism in his 'manifesto'. But who do we follow ... a murderer or Jesus Christ?

Whose words should we be listening to?

Which sin is worse ... to walk into a place of worship and to murder 49 people. Or to download the live video of the event and to watch the same video for entertainment on a personal computer? By now, the video (produced by the murderer) has been downloaded and shared by millions of people around the world. They were asked to stop doing this on the Internet, but they won't. Do people understand that they are making their own lives a profanity when they do this?

For this reason, we need to pray without ceasing.

I'm not sure if I agree completely, it's fairly dangerous to live in some parts of New Zealand where crime rates are high. The more popular tourist places in NZ down in the South Island maybe safe but not so in the North Island.

There's plenty of hotheads and street racers too. Never seen a place where street racing is so common and so rampant. Auckland streets is like a real life GTA game with left side traffic. Make sure you don't wear black while taking a stroll at night. X_X

Anyway, my condolences to those who lost their loved ones.

Interesting how fast gun legislation was introduced, and swift threats of prosecution for having the video.

It also isn't surprising.

Video evidence is necessary to help formulate an opinion about the situation. The push to prosecute people for having the video is an attack on transparency veiled as concern for public mentality and protection for the victims.

Humans are very emotional - to a substantial fault. Everything is a possibility for exploitation, and I find it asinine to prosecute someone for a video of an alleged event when there are videos of humans being beheaded online.

Most people are sharing the video to analyze it - since we (the people) are always told 1) the correct story, 2) first [/sarcasm]

I find it ironic so many conservatives oppose Islam because of sharia when sharia is almost exactly what we conservatives would want. All we would have to do is pay a religious tax.

I'm a Hardline conservative and I support most Muslims over Jews because Muslims are more likely to be conservative. I find it ironic so many conservatives oppose Islam because of sharia when sharia is almost exactly what we conservatives would want. All we would have to do is pay a religious tax.
Um, you have read sharia law right? If your LGBT for example you are put to death. You are saying thats what conservatives want?

Some certainly do, some others would prefer imprisonment or even corporal punishment.

I believe in the killers manifesto he writes that he's doing this to specifically incite more division and violence between the left and the right. He's far right wing on things like race, but he said in his letter that he isn't conservative or Christian. I've heard that he's actually neo pagan.

It makes me sick that anyone would take human lives to further their evil agenda to sow chaos and suffering amongst different political parties. Prayers for all involved.

I find you post to be very sad. Unlike you, I condemn any attack in which innocent people are killed. I pray for the recovery of those injured on this attack and for the families of those killed.

You speak of jihadists. Exactly how many of those killed in this attack were jihadists? If you know so much about the topic, you should be able to easily supply a number.

And yes, I have studied Islamic teachings.

Despite the popular narrative of "extreme right wing", Adolf Hitler was never right wing, but always left wing, ie. a socialist through and through.
The clue is in the name, THE NATIONAL SOCIALIST GERMAN WORKERS PARTY. ie. The Nazis were all socialist workers!
Hitler constantly spoke about his socialist plans and achievements in Nazi Germany.

That's because its left wing not right.
This quote from Zerohedge, com reveals a little more -
"The terrorist gunman who killed 49 Muslims at a mosque in New Zealand said in his own manifesto that he wanted “no part of” conservatism, describing himself as an “eco-fascist” and expressing admiration for Communist China."

Answering the question “Were/are you a conservative?”, Brenton Tarrant wrote, “No, conservatism is corporatism in disguise, “I want no part of it.”

Sounds closer to Bernie that Trump, but of course, you'll never get this on the mainstream media, as they have an agenda which blames Trump for every evil.

I would have thought the biggest clue regarding Hitler and his Nazi party being extreme right wing would have been that it was a fascist regime. The use of the word socialist does not mean the regime was socialist.
