You repeating it doesn’t make it true. You have zero evidence to support this claim.

LOL! Your denial of the fact that I've already repeatedly posted the evidence doesn't make your assertion that I didn't present it true.

Again - this is all in the distant past. The racists switched allegiances from Dem to Republican over half a century ago.

Which explains why those who focus so much on a person's skin color whenever there's a disagreement between two people, a focus on race when exceptions are made on standards, and those who cry "racism" as their first resort are almost always democrats in general, and liberals in particular.

I wrote "It was Conservatives who did that, and in the 1920s upper MidWest GOP were big in the Klan", which is a correction, not a rewording, and is accurate.

Quit trying to pretend that American slavery was not done by Conservatives, and don't try to pretend that Democrats were the driving force of the 1964 and 1965 civil liberties acts.

Did you know that EVERY GOP member of Congress and the Senate voted against the CRA in 1964?

Did you know that the western and northern Dems in the Congress and the Senate in 1964 had a higher voting rate in the affirmative for the CRA than northern and western Republicans?

Stay within the bounds of historical fact, please.

LOL!

Again - this is all in the distant past. The racists switched allegiances from Dem to Republican over half a century ago.

I believe that's true based on my own experiences and on what I've witnessed firsthand during the last 28 years I've been involved in Native American related political and social justice activism.

The only hostile reactions toward my own political and social justice activist efforts that I have had to deal with over the years has come from conservatives and not liberals. But again, I am speaking from almost 30 years of personal experience as a political and social justice activist. The following examples I posted below are some personal incidences that I have shared before on similar topics.

(1) It has been conservatives, not liberals, who have cursed me and have been aggressive toward me for refusing to stand for the National Anthem or for refusing to recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

(2) It has been conservatives, not liberals, who have cursed me and have been physically aggressive toward me for holding the American flag upside down during a public protest and demonstration.

(3) It has been conservatives, not liberals, who have been consistently opposed over the years to my activism efforts concerning Native American and LGBT related political and social justice issues.

(4) It has been conservatives, not liberals, who have repeatedly cursed at me and told me that if I don't love America, then I can get the you know what out of the country and never come back.

(5) It has been conservatives, not liberals, who have consistently mocked, insulted, disrespected, demeaned and disparaged Native Americans and their heritage and culture over the years.

(6) It has been liberals, not conservatives, who have been consistently compassionate and supportive of me during the last 28 years I have been involved in political and social justice activism.

Really? Let's take a look at the facts:
Democrats are the ones always screaming about Republicans being racist. The Democrats are the ones that claim to be so concerned about black rights and freedom, while accusing Republicans of being the ones that oppress them.

Fact: Democrats were the ones in the South who didn't want slavery abolished. Politics of Race: Democrat-slavery vs Republican-abolition
Fact: Nazis and white supremacists are running as Republicans, not Democrats.

Self-described Nazis and white supremacists are running as Republicans across the country. The GOP is terrified.

You provided no evidence - only your opinions. The only “evidence” was the PragerU video which is garbage and arguments about the political parties’ stances that are 50-60 years out of date.

Facts:
1) People who are most adversely affected by racism run as Democrats support Democrats is huge numbers (up to 90% in the mid terms).

2) People who are overt racists run as or support Republicans.

These two facts mean your argument is ridiculous on its face.

I posted a similar statement and articles earlier in this thread and in other threads too. I think Trump has been normalizing the racist sentiments of white supremacists and that's why they support him.

Lincoln would be ashamed of the Republican party as it is today.

“[F]oreign immigration, which in the past has added so much to the wealth, development of resources and increase of power to the nation, the asylum of the oppressed of all nations, should be fostered and encouraged by a liberal and just policy.”

Anyone today worrying about Conservatives supporting slavery and segregation in our history must be mighty worried about their own hidden agendas.

Or worried that the democrats will regain too much power and carry out what they have in the past. History repeats itself. How many times do we have to allow them to do what they've already proven themselves to be intent on before we learn?

Yet democrats continue to demonize America and the Republicans about our history of slavery, even though it was the democrats who supported it and fought for it at the time when slavery was actually happening. That's called "projecting".

The Republican Party sure has strayed far from its roots.

Well, the democrat's party sure hasn't. They simply disguise their intentions with a veil of political correctness.

Martin Luther King would be ashamed of Black Lives Matter too. So what's your point?

Any Democrat who blames republicans for slavery is ignorant of history.

However, the Southern Democrats who supported Jim Crow did join the Republican Party in the wake of civil rights as part of the southern strategy. That is history you can’t ignore.

I didn’t realize MLK Jr had anything to do with Black Lives Matter.

Nor does BLM have anything to do with MLK. One says to recognize a man for his character rather than the color of his skin, and the other says and does the opposite.

How about the present? Democrats use black people based on their race to enslave them to victimhood, holding them back from being independent. A person can be enslaved to victimhood status and the resulting complacency as easily as they can be enslaved to sin. Democrats are taking advantage of that by classifying people according to skin color and giving them unequal treatment.

That’s the point. Lincoln was a Republican and would be ashamed of the current Republican Party. MLK has nothing to do with BLM.

Then why do the democrats latch onto the idea that whenever a black person suffers some misfortune that involves a white person, it's assumed to be racism, a hate crime, or some sort of bigotry at the root of it all, and how a democrat needs to come to the rescue with legislation that gives preferential treatment to certain people based on the color of their skin?
