Zec 5:7 And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this [is] a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.
Zec 5:8 And he said, This [is] wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof. Zec 5:9 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind [was] in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.
Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?

Zec 5:11 And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.

In Zech 5, the Woman in the Measure being carried by two demon -sirens, specifically [female demons with wings like storks are called sirens]- carry her to set her on her base, and build a house for her in Shinar.

So we have believed that Shinar is only Iraq, and that the ancient city called Babylon is the site of the tower of Babel -but is it? I think there is at least enough circumstantial evidence to conclude that Shinar included what we call the Arabian Peninsula, today, and that there, the Tower of Babel was built, and that there, the house for the mother of harlots was built, already, in history.

Firstly; consider that the city named Babylon is not the city that the tower was built in and destroyed in, using the ancient written history and the Tenach.
Nimrod built four cities and named each of them after the happening at the city which is called Babel; but that Babel is not the one Nimrod built after they ceased building the city of the tower which was destroyed, and men began to be scattered.
Gen 11:2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
Gen 11:8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
Gen 11:9 Therefore is the name of it called Bab-el; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

Now a verse from Jasher 10 shows that men built cities and named them after their own names, or after their particular occurrences. Each city Nimrod built was named after the particular occurrence of the rebellion of the city and tower from which God judged men and so they were not the places that the fall and scattering happened, but just memorials of those things.
Jasher 10:5 And some of them built cities in places from which they were afterward extirpated, and they called these cities after their own names, or the names of their children, or after their particular occurrences.

Nimrod built four cities after the scattering, but in the "land of Shinar", and did not work anymore on the building of the city which they ceased to build after the scattering of man, caused by the disputes which arose when they could not understand one another anymore, or work on the project together, and abandoned it.:
Gen 10:10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
Jasher 11:
1

And Nimrod son of Cush was still in the land of Shinar, and he reigned over it and dwelt there, and he built cities in the land of Shinar.
2

And these are the names of the four cities which he built, and he called their names after the occurrences that happened to them in the building of the tower.
3

And he called the first Babel, saying, Because the Lord there confounded the language of the whole earth; and the name of the second he called Erech, because from there God dispersed them.
4

And the third he called Eched, saying there was a great battle at that place; and the fourth he called Calnah, because his princes and mighty men were consumed there, and they vexed the Lord, they rebelled and transgressed against him.
5

And when Nimrod had built these cities in the land of Shinar, he placed in them the remainder of his people, his princes and his mighty men that were left in his kingdom.
6

And Nimrod dwelt in Babel, and he there renewed his reign over the rest of his subjects, and he reigned securely, and the subjects and princes of Nimrod called his name Amraphel, saying that at the tower his princes and men fell through his means.
7

And notwithstanding this, Nimrod did not return to the Lord, and he continued in wickedness and teaching wickedness to the sons of men; and Mardon, his son, was worse than his father, and continued to add to the abominations of his father.

Nimrod arose over his brethren. Then seeking out a place to build the the tower and city:
Jasher 7, 8

32

And Nimrod strengthened himself, and he rose up from amongst his brethren, and he fought the battles of his brethren against all their enemies round about.
33

And the Lord delivered all the enemies of his brethren in his hands, and God prospered him from time to time in his battles, and he reigned upon earth.
34

Therefore it became current in those days, when a man ushered forth those that he had trained up for battle, he would say to them, Like God did to Nimrod, who was a mighty hunter in the earth, and who succeeded in the battles that prevailed against his brethren, that he delivered them from the hands of their enemies, so may God strengthen us and deliver us this day.
35

And when Nimrod was forty years old, at that time there was a war between his brethren and the children of Japheth, so that they were in the power of their enemies.
36

And Nimrod went forth at that time, and he assembled all the sons of Cush and their families, about four hundred and sixty men, and he hired also from some of his friends and acquaintances about eighty men, and be gave them their hire, and he went with them to battle, and when he was on the road, Nimrod strengthened the hearts of the people that went with him.
...

8 And all the princes of Nimrod and his great men took counsel together; Phut, Mitzraim, Cush and Canaan with their families, and they said to each other, Come let us build ourselves a city and in it a strong tower, and its top reaching heaven, and we will make ourselves famed, so that we may reign upon the whole world, in order that the evil of our enemies may cease from us, that we may reign mightily over them, and that we may not become scattered over the earth on account of their wars.
23

And they all went before the king, and they told the king these words, and the king agreed with them in this affair, and he did so.
24

And all the families assembled consisting of about six hundred thousand men, and they went to seek an extensive piece of ground to build the city and the tower, and they sought in the whole earth and they found none like one valley at the east of the land of Shinar, about two days' walk, and they journeyed there and they dwelt there.
25

And they began to make bricks and burn fires to build the city and the tower that they had imagined to complete.
26

And the building of the tower was unto them a transgression and a sin, and they began to build it, and whilst they were building against the Lord God of heaven, they imagined in their hearts to war against him and to ascend into heaven.
So a two days walk, east, got to the valley where the city was to be built, and the tower of rebellion.

At this point I want to point out the redaction of the account in Genesis, for it was written in Jasher as a historical record, and needed not to be re-written, but commented upon, only.

So where did the journey east begin at, which was a two days walk from where they were? It was not from Ararat, for they were removed from there already, and the present city of Babylon, Iraq, is not east of the mountains of Ararat, either, but is south of them, so they did not come from Ararat to build the city and tower.

So west of this valley in Shinar, a two day walk, is the site from where the counsel was taken to find a place and build the city of rebellion and the tower to climb up to heaven, by.

So where in the land of Shinar is the site of the tower of Babel? IT is not in present day Babylon.

I think that it is in Saudi Arabia, where the seducing spirits -demon female sirens- are seen taking the "mother of harlots" in Zech, to build a house and set her on her base.

The mother of harlots is Islam, say many Bible scholars, and a modern scholar of that is Walid Shoebat, who has given me much food for thought on this matter.

There is, in Saudi Arabia, a forbidden city, "ruins", and the history of that place is worth considering as the site of the rebellion, when men began building a city, and a tower, "to heaven", by which to ascend there and take it over.

Blue Letter Bible - Lexicon
Strong's Number H8152 matches the Hebrew שִׁנְעָר (Shin`ar), which occurs 8 times in 8 verses in the Hebrew concordance of the KJV

Rotherham) Isaiah 11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, That My Lord will again a second time set his hand, to possess himself of the remnant of his people,--who shall be left--from Assyria and from Egypt and from Pathros and from Ethiopia and from Elam and from Shinar and from Hamath and from the Coastlands of the sea;

Shinar - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Shinar (Hebrew שִׁנְעָר Šin`ar, Septuagint Σεννααρ Sennaar) was a geographical locale of uncertain boundaries in Mesopotamia.
The name may be a corruption of Shene nahar ("two rivers"), Shene or ("two cities"),[1] or Sumer ("land of the civilized lords" or "native land").

It has been suggested[by whom?] that Shinar must have been confined to the northern part of Mesopotamia (the plain of Sinjar, immediately south of Mount Judi, and west of Mount Nisir), based on Jubilees 9:3 which allots Shinar (or, in the Ethiopic text, Sadna Sena`or) to Ashur.
However, Jubilees 10:20 states that the Tower of Babel was built with bitumen from the sea of Shinar. David Rohl theorized that the Tower was actually located in Eridu, which was once located on the Persian Gulf, where there are ruins of a massive, ancient ziggurat worked from bitumen.[2]

Jubilees not only often contradicts the Torah and the prophets, but it contradicts the real book of Jasher. Jasher does not contradict the Tenach and does correlate with the law and the Prophets and the Writings.
In Jasher 9, it states brick and mortar.
And all the families assembled consisting of about six hundred thousand men, and they went to seek an extensive piece of ground to build the city and the tower, and they sought in the whole earth and they found none like one valley at the east of the land of Shinar, about two days' walk, and they journeyed there and they dwelt there.
25 And they began to make bricks and burn fires to build the city and the tower that they had imagined to complete.

And when they were building they built themselves a great city and a very high and strong tower; and on account of its height the mortar and bricks did not reach the builders in their ascent to it, until those who went up had completed a full year, and after that, they reached to the builders and gave them the mortar and the bricks; thus was it done daily.
29 And behold these ascended and others descended the whole day; and if a brick should fall from their hands and get broken, they would all weep over it, and if a man fell and died, none of them would look at him.
It also states that the destruction of the tower was like this:
36 And the Lord smote the three divisions that were there, and he punished them according to their works and designs; those who said, We will ascend to heaven and serve our gods, became like apes and elephants; and those who said, We will smite the heaven with arrows, the Lord killed them, one man through the hand of his neighbor; and the third division of those who said, We will ascend to heaven and fight against him, the Lord scattered them throughout the earth.
37 And those who were left amongst them, when they knew and understood the evil which was coming upon them, they forsook the building, and they also became scattered upon the face of the whole earth.
38

And they ceased building the city and the tower; therefore he called that place Babel, for there the Lord confounded the Language of the whole earth; behold it was at the east of the land of Shinar.
39 And as to the tower which the sons of men built, the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up one third part thereof, and a fire also descended from heaven and burned another third, and the other third is left to this day, and it is of that part which was aloft, and its circumference is three days' walk.
40 And many of the sons of men died in that tower, a people without number.
A very high mound of ruins somewhere [now buried with debri of the ages], rising out of a plain, which would take three days to walk around, should be searched for -and google earthed for- outside of and west of, the city of Babylon, Iraq..

Very informative. Jubilees said they left Ararat to build the Tower but that is not true. You are correct. I reported that in one of my videos but found Jubilees to be wrong on many occasions. Upon further research i discovered that the 1st mention of Shinar was not the land of Shinar but a city built for Nimrod that he named Shinar. Jasher 7:42-43 "And whilst he was reigning according to his heart's desire, after having conquered all his enemies around, he advised with his counselors to build a city for his palace, and they did so. And they found a large valley opposite to the east, and they built him a large and extensive city, and Nimrod called the name of the city that he built Shinar, for the Lord had vehemently shaken his enemies and destroyed them."
They left from this city because it say's they went before the king. Then they searched the whole earth and found none like this valley that was a two days walk east of the land of shinar, not the city of shinar. So the valley was a two days walk east of the land of shinar then once they found the location for the tower they journeyed there. Read it carefully.
Jasher 9:21-23 "And all the princes of Nimrod and his great men took counsel together; Phut, Mitzraim, Cush and Canaan with their families, and they said to each other, Come let us build ourselves a city and in it a strong tower, and its top reaching heaven, and we will make ourselves famed, so that we may reign upon the whole world, in order that the evil of our enemies may cease from us, that we may reign mightily over them, and that we may not become scattered over the earth on account of their wars. The 2 days walk east of shinar was the location and not the distance travelled.
This is also confirmed by Jasher 10:32 when they were scattered from the Tower, Ashur went to a distant land and built Nineveh. So Nineveh was a distant land from the Tower, not a two days walk.
After they ceased building the Tower Nimrod called that place Babel. Jasher 9:37. In Jasher 11:1-6 Nimrod would have returned to the city of shinar which he would rename Babel. He named the first city Babel which he would have rebuilt after being away for 43 years. They also called him Amraphel which Genesis 14 said was king of Shinar. This would be the city of Shinar.
In Joshua 7:21 the word Babylonish in the Hebrew is the word Shinar. This combined with Daniel 1:1-2 confirms that the city of Shinar, Babel and Babylon are one and the same. So they left what would later be known as Babylon and searched the whole earth for a proper location to build a tower into the heavens. So what were they looking for and why did they leave Babylon? The Hebrew word for Tower in Genesis 11 means pyramid shaped. So they need to find a large flat area as high as they can get to build a tower to heaven. They need to find the highest plateau on earth. The highest plateau in Iraq is 1500 feet.
The highest plateau on earth is the Tibetan plateau at an average elevation of 15000 feet. Which is where the remains of the Tower of Babel are. So the scientific evidence suggest that the east most border of the land of shinar is a two days walk west of the valley where Lake Manasarovar is. This would be the border of India and Tibet. Just east of the lake is Mount Kailash which is the Tower of Babel. And way back in 2011 you were on the right track. God Bless.

Very good...we all need to research to get to the truth of where...
one thing: in Genesis 14, "Dan" is not where a later tribe of Dan would be, but is the land of Dan (named for the judges/rulers/watchers set over earth), which land is at the Mount Zion in the north of the present land of Israel, and which mount is called "Hermon/accursed" from that day/time when the fallen watchers descended there (a place the holy watchers always descend from), took the oath to be cursed and remain in the flesh bodies that look human, in which they can appear [as Scripture shows in many places), to minister to the Adam creation on earth..

Abraham chased them up, to Dan, then on up North to east of Damsacus, to Hobar.
Nimrod was king dwelling in Syria, Damascus, when he plotted the tower to ascend to heaven by....and lost his power, and the city was in ruins and never rebuilt..
I think it would be a two days journey from Damascus.
Josephus wrote the tower was still to be visited and walked around in his day...
But there is that area of land in "Shinar" that is called "ruins", which is a likely place, methinks, to look for the tower ruins...
