Or that the early church even taught it as well (the law I mean) (the letter of the OT Law covenant written in the way of a or in the form of a command or commandments)...? (Or the OT commandments)...

If they didn't even teach it I guarantee you they were not enforcing it or putting as a requirement for any NT, NC, believers... (Which they weren't) (and already talked about how those going back to it, after having received an knowledge of the the whole truth about the true message of God or the Bible (Grace, Mercy, Love, ect) (not all about judging or judgement, as far as any of us doing it anyway)... If they do that and still insist upon OT, OC, law, anyway, the Bible says it is "very, very bad" in God's eyes, and the "worst of all", as far as offending Him, or the Spirit that is Him...

God Bless!
Gal 5 says they make Jesus of no effect. IOW aren't saved (redeemed).

That's not part of the covenant Christians are governed by.

Of course it is. I suggest you read your bible. Only God's WORD is true and we should believe and follow it *ROMANS 3:4; ACTS 5:29.

According to God's WORD in the NEW COVENANT, God's 4th commandment is one of God's 10 commandments that in the NEW COVENANT give us the KNOWLEDGE of what SIN is when broken *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4.

According to God's WORD in the NEW COVENANT God's ETERNAL LAW (10 commandments) is the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL; SIN and RIGHTEOUSNES *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4; PSALMS 119:172.

God's 4th commandment is one of God's 10 commandments that give us the KNOWLEDGE of what sin is when broken *ROMANS 3:20. According to God's WORD if we break any one of God's 10 Commandments we stand guilty before God of SIN *JAMES 2:10-11.

According to God's WORD all those who CONTINUE in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN will not enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN *HEBREWS 10:26-27 because they reject the gift of God's dear son *ROMANS 6:23. OBEDIENCE to God's LAW is not how we are saved it is the FRUIT of God's work in us as we BELIEVE and FOLLOW his WORD through love. If our faith has no fruit it is dead *JAMES 2:18-20; 26 and our tree will be cast down and thrown into the fire *MATTHEW 3:10; 7:19-20; 13:49-50.

It is JESUS that says all those who KNOWINGLY follow the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God are not following God brother not me *MATTHEW 15:3-9. Who then do we BELIEVE and FOLLOW God or men *ROMANS 3:4. Yep I know who I believe. You provide your own words. My words are not my own but God's WORD. It is the Word of God that will be our judge come judgment day *JOHN 12:47-48.

Now where is the scripture that says God’s 4th Commandment has now been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day? There is no scripture is there? If there is no scriprture for this tradition why do you not believe God’s WORD?

Bottom line is that if you are not a part of God's ISRAEL you have no part in the NEW COVENANT *HEBREWS 8:10-11. Gentiles are now grafted it *ROMANS 11:13-27

Sorry brother God's WORD does not teach lawlessness.

Goodness gracious. I just noticed something guys, here we all still are after 90+ pages and seems no one is still able to supply a single scripture to answer a single question from the OP here.....

The challenge I am putting up here in the OP is for anyone to show even one scripture that says God's 4th Commandment of the 10 commandments (Exodus 20:8-11) which was spoken and written by God himself to his people, has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day.

Can anyone please show me where in all the bible does is say (SOLA SCRIPTURA; Scripture only please)...

1. That God's 4th commandments 7th day Sabbath has been abolished?

2. That Jesus is a Sabbath?

3. The Sabbath (seventh day) was ever changed from the seventh to the first day of the week?

4. Where we are told to keep the first day of the week holy?

5. Where the first day of the week (Sunday) is ever called a holy day?

6. That says that Jesus ever kept the first day (Sunday)?

7. That tells us to keep the first day in honour of the resurrection of Christ?

8. Where the first day is ever given any sacred name?

9. That affirms that any of the apostles ever kept the first day as the Sabbath?

10. From any apostolic writings that authorizes Sunday observance as the Sabbath of God?

11. Where we are told not to work on the first day of the week?

12. That says the seventh day is no longer God's Sabbath day?

13. That says the seventh day Sabbath is ABOLISHED?

14. Where the apostles ever taught any convert to keep the first day of the week as a Sabbath?

15. Where the first day was ever appointed to be kept as the Lord's Day?

16. Where the first day of the week is ever called the Lord's Day?

17. That says that the first day of the week was ever sanctified and hallowed as a day of rest?

18. That says that the Father or the Son (Jesus) rested on the first day of the week?

19. That says that Jesus, Paul or any other of the apostles taught anyone to observe the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

20. That calls the seventh day the “Jewish Sabbath” or one text that calls Sunday the “Christian Sabbath”?

21. Telling man to keep the first day of the week holy or to worship or rest on the first day of the week?

22. Authorizing anyone to set aside God's Sabbath and observe any other day?

23. Showing any of the apostles keeping the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

24. Authorizing someone to set aside the fourth Commandment and observe any other day of the week?

25. Where any apostle taught us to keep the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

26. Declaring that the seventh day is no longer the Eternal Sabbath day?

27. Where Sunday is now appointed to be kept as the New Testament Sabbath or holy day?

...................

Something to think about here because we are all accountable to God come judgment day where we will all be judged by the Word of God (John 12:47-48).

God's Word makes it very clear that if we follow the teachings of men over the Word of God we are not following God...

MATTHEW 15:3-9 [3],
[3], But he answered and said unto them, Why do you also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
[4], For God commanded, saying, Honor your father and mother: and, He that curses father or mother, let him die the death.
[5], But you say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift devoted to God, whatsoever you might have received from me;
[6], And honors not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have you made the commandment of God void by your tradition.
[7], You hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,
[8], These people draw near unto me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
[9], But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

If we are KNOWINGLY breaking ANY of God's commandments we are not worshipping God.

Look forward to your thoughts... :)

Goodness gracious, 90 plus pages and you still can’t identify for anyone what specifically constitutes sin cornering the Sabbath today, nor have you provided any scriptures from Jesus or His Apostles that instruct the Church what we can or can not do on the Sabbath so that we don’t sin.

Furthermore after 90 plus pages you can’t explain to us how a born again Christian is to go about observing the Sabbath today, under the New Covenant.

What is the point of this thread if you can’t explain to a person how to observe the Sabbath today, with the specific scriptures from Jesus and His Apostles?

Not at all brother. The scriptures and posts provided and only sent in love
...snip
Love is righteousness. Love is not unrighteousness. Your use of the word "love" needs to be examined according to God's Word; furthermore, the true meaning of love in accord with God's Word must be spoken.

The Apostle John wrote "God is love" (1 John 4:8).

The Apostle Paul wrote that love "does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth" (1 Corintians 13:6).

The Lord Jesus said "He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him" (John 7:18).

In the Greek Manuscripts of the New Testament, the Greek word "adikia" is translated to the English word "unrighteousness" in 1 Corintians 13:6 and John 7:18.

According to HELPS Word-studies, the definition of "adikia" is:

93 adikia (a feminine noun derived from 1 /A "not" and 1349 /dike, "justice") - properly, the opposite of justice; unrighteousness, as a violation of God's standards (justice) which brings divine disapproval; a count (violation) of God's justice, i.e. what is contrary to His righteous judgments (what He approves).

The Lord Jesus also said "Why do you not understand what I am saying? [It is] because you cannot hear My word. You are of [your] father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own [nature], for he is a liar and the father of lies. But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me." (John 8:43-45).

The Lord Jesus also said "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him." (John 14:6-7).

In summary:
- God is love.
- Love rejoices in Truth.
- Love does not rejoice in unrighteousness.
- There is no unrighteousness in Jesus nor His sheep see John 14:16-18 and 2 Corinthians 5:21.
- Unrighteousness: the opposite of righteousness, things contrary to God's righteousness.
- The devil is the father of lies.
- Jesus is Truth.

To tell the truth is righteousness; on the other hand, to tell a lie is unrighteousness; moreover, persisting in a lie is practicing unrighteousness, and unrighteousness is sin. This statement bears out of the above.

Adulerating scripture by way of adding or subtracting words or using some other device in a way that changes the meaning of the scripture is unrighteousness (Deuteronomy 4:2, Revelation 22:18-19).

1 John 3:3-15 - You admit to you adding words to 1 John 3:6 and that is not the only verse in the passage that you add words in such a way to your words modify the meaning of the Apostle John's writing in such a way that you blatantly add the 10 commandments which are not in the Greek Manuscripts of the Apostle John's writing yet your words claim that you only quote God's Word. link explaining

Exodus 20:2-6 - God's Word commands not to make a likeness, period. This is despite your words that try to change the meaning of the passage. The sentence in Verse 4 is complete. God's Word commands not to worship "them" which can be either "gods" from Verse 2 and/or "idol"s from Verse 4, yet neither Verse 2 nor Verse 4 grammatically depends on Verse 5; therefore, "Logical Conclusion to Keeping the Old Covenant Law Post" (in this thread) in which a drivers license or some such with a likeness of a person who keeps the Law of the Old Covenant remains logically and lexically correct. This is proven out further by the "Grammatical Explanation of Exodus 20:2-6 Post for the Logical Conclusion to Keeping the Old Covenant Law Post" (in this thread).

Revelation 12:17 - Your highlights of the verse show your attempt to impose the 4th commandment on others as you try to de-emphasize that which is not highlighted about Jesus, and hence you try to alter the meaning of the passage to suit your thoughts. link explaining

Leviticus 23 - Your words convey that the 7th day sabbath of Exodus 20:8 is not applicable to Hosea 2:11; on the other hand, God's Word says the 7th day sabbath is included (recorded in verse Leviticus 23:3). link explaining.

Acts 15:5 - Your words convey that the Law of Moses is not the Law which includes the 10 commandments link explaining

1 John 2:1-4 - Your words or your version of a bible switches the words and hence meaning of the passage to suit your thoughts. link explaining

Romans 13:8 - Your words or your version of a bible tries to add the word DOING into the Apostle Paul's writing, yet the word DOING is not in the Greek Manuscripts. link explaining

Matthew 5:17 - Your words conveny that Jesus does not satisfy the law - that is practicing sin not to keep the 7th day sabbath; however, your words are contrary to the teaching of Jesus. link explaining

Love is righteousness. Love is not unrighteousness. Love is not deception. Deception is adulterating scripture.

Love tells the truth. Love cares for others by telling the truth.

Here is more truth!

God's Word in the "Exclusively Scripture With Bible Citations Post" (in this thread) clearly shows God's Word explaining believers covered by the Blood of Jesus of the New Covenant are not bound to the Old Covenant which includes the 10 commandments for the Lord Jesus said that He satisfies the Law which includes the 10 commandments. The Lord Jesus satisfies the Law which includes the 10 commandments (Matthew 5:17); furthermore, the Lord Jesus established "the New Covenant" (Luke 22:20) and that when He said, "A new [covenant]," He has made the first obsolete (Hebrews 8:13).

The "The Ark in the Old Covenant and the New Covenant Post" (in this thread) clearly shows that the Ark of the Covenant with it's contents are part of the Old Covenant which is obsolete, and that Spirit-filled believers inherit the righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ for His Blood of the New Covenant covers us believers thus we believers love that which Jesus loves and we believers hate that which Jesus hates, and we believers are moved to action by the Holy Spirit and therein is Godly fruit.

God's Word in The Lord Jesus Commands and Defends Work by People on the Old Covenant Sabbath Post is quite clear that we believers in the New Covenant are not bound to keep the 7th day sabbath as recorded in the Old Covenant. We believers in the New Covenant have our rest in the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ!

That is truth. And here is more truth. Love tells the truth. Love cares for others by telling the truth.

LISTEN TO GOD'S WORD:

"Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to satisfy." (Matthew 5:17)

"For the Law, since it has [only] a shadow of the good things to come [and] not the very form of things" (Hebrews 10:1)

"And in the same way [He took] the cup after they had eaten, saying, 'This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.'" (Luke 22:20)

"When He said, 'A new [covenant],' He has made the first obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear." (Hebrews 8:13)

Don't say people have not provide scriptures because that is rude, ignoring people like that.

“How turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain” (Galatians 4:9-11).

Here, do all this, (in vain?)
It should be pointed out that few persons keep the Sabbath law today. In order to do so, a person could not perform any work or light a fire. Thus he could not use any type of stove, heater, internal combustion engine, or electricity. Moreover, he could not cause anyone else to violate the Sabbath, which he would do if he ate in a restaurant or used utilities, the telephone, or the radio.

Exactly, the Sabbath under the law of Moses, is no more.

Today, the Sabbath is made for man to rest.

The weekly Sabbath points us to the rest to come, when Jesus returns and removes all enemies and we enjoy 1000 years of peace and rest with immortal bodies that are sinless and no longer “war” against the Spirit within us.

That is truly rest and peace.

For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. Hebrews 4:8-9

Very nicely done even though a tad long. Thanks for your patience and hard work. Love it.

Your the one promoting Sabbath observance, you tell me.

Please post the scriptures where Jesus or His Apostles said it was a sin, to not gather on the Sabbath.

JLB
does the verse you quoted from exodus tell us to kill everybody who doesn’t keep the Sabbath? All it says is that they are to be put to death. Death penalties usually are accompanied by a trial, witnesses, sentencing etc.

Adulterers are worthy of death. So are murderers & homosexuals. Do you think it’s okay to murder, commit adultery & be a homosexual? If not, do you go around killing everyone since their actions are worthy of death, according to God? If not, why?

Again, the burden is on you to prove that it’s no longer a sin, not on me to prove that it’s still a sin, so post the Scriptures where they said it’s no longer a sin.

Btw, Messiah and Apostles don’t have to quote every single commandment for certain actions to still be a sin. For example, where did the Messiah or Apostles quote the commandment about inappropriate behavior with animals? We have no record of them speaking against child sacrifice, either.

No you got it backwards.

You are promoting Sabbath observance or it’s a sin.

There’s no scriptures from Jesus or His Apostles that instructs or commands the Church how to observe the Sabbath under the New Covenant.

How does the Church observe the Sabbath under the New Covenant so as to not sin.

Make sure to include scripture.

JLB

God defines sin, not me. Disobeying God & not keeping the Sabbath holy is a sin, according to God.

The instructions for the church are based on what God has already revealed to us through His law: cease from customary work & gather together. This is what Messiah & the Apostles did.

The burden is on you to prove that commandments are now null & void, and that disobedience to God is no longer a sin. You have to prove that the Messiah and Apostles created a new way of life in opposition to God’s commandments.

JLB

As posted more then once brother I will be happy to continue answering your questions when you start asnwering mine and responding to the posts I provided to you. I have answered your first questions here and asked oyu questions in return. You have not answered a single question in the OP or any questions in the return post asked of you. A discussion goes two ways. It seems you are not interested in having a discussion here. Let me know when you wish you have a discussion and share God's WORD until then ignoring God's Word does not make it dissappear. Only God's WORD is true and we should believe and follow it over the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God. It is JESUS that says all those who KNOWINGLY follow the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments ot God are not following God not me *MATTHEW 15:3-9. I know who I believe how about you *ROMANS 3:4; ACTS 5:29?

Don't say people have not provide scriptures because that is rude, ignoring people like that.

“How turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain” (Galatians 4:9-11).

GALATIANS 4:8 [8] Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.[9] But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? [10] YE OBSERVE DAYS, AND MONTHS, AND TIMES, AND YEARS.[11] I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

Let scripture interpret scripture. Galatians 4 says nothing about sabbaths or feast days. Its speaking of those who observe times.

DEUTERONOMY 18:9 [9] When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.[10] There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, OR AN OBSERVER OF TIMES, or an enchanter, or a witch,[11] Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

The same thing goes on to this very day. Its speaking of the occult. Those who observe certain days by use of horoscopes?

2 CHRONICLES 33:3 [3] For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.[4] Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.[5] And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.[6] And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: ALSO HE OBSERVED TIMES, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger

Enchantments, witchcraft, familiar spirits, and wizards. Its speaking of the occult. Not following sabbath days.

LEVITICUS 19:26 [26] Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, NOR OBSERVE TIMES.[27] Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.[28] Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.[29] Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a harlot; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.[30] YE SHALL KEEP MY SABBATHS, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

I guess this scripture says it all. You shall not observe times BUT you will keep my sabbaths.

Sadly my friend your only repeating yourself again without addressing any of the posts and scriptures sent only in love and as a help to you showing your errors of interpretation. Ignoring God's WORD does not make it disappear.

Post # 1588 shows the CONTEXT you leave out of the interpretation of the scriptures linked

This is proven out further by the "Grammatical Explanation of Exodus 20:2-6 Post for the Logical Conclusion to Keeping the Old Covenant Law Post" (in this thread).

Your repeating yourself again grammer does not over rule the scripture context that you left out of your interpretation of EXODUS 20:4. Seriously brother are you really trying to argue that CONTEXT does not matter in understanding scripture? Exodus 20 in verses 3, 4, 5 are talking about the same subject matter which is havinf no other gods v3; not making any graven images or any likeness in heaven and earth and the water under the earth v4; Continuing the same thought is expressed in the v5 "THEM" where the same thought is being continued; v5 You shall not bow down to "THEM" or "SERVE THEM" for I am the LORD your God am a JEALOUS God. Now what is the "THEM" and why would the LORD be "JEALOUS"? EXODUS 20:3-5 are all the same CONTEXT; CONTENT and TOPIC. The "THEM" used in v5 and what the LORD is "JEALOUS" of is answered in v3-4. The "THEM" is making other gods and bowing down and serving them v3-5. By leaving out the CONTEXT of EXODUS 20:4 as you quoted earlier has lead you to errors of interpretation of the scriptures. EXODUS 20:3-5 are the CONTEXT and SUBJECT MATTER. They are dependant one to another and v3-5 define the CONTEXT and SUBJECT MATTER of v4. These scriptures therefore are connected to each other as subject matter with v3 and v5 defining the CONTEXT of v4. Can you see your error here brother?

Ok as shown above everyone of your posts have been addressed section by section with a detailed scripture reply. All you have done is to simply repeat yourself without addressing any of the scriptures from God's WORD showing the context you leave out leading to errors of interpretation. Love is righteousness.
Indeed LOVE is EXPRESSED through God's ETERNAL LAW (10 Commandments) as JESUS says;

MATTHEW 22:36-40 [36] Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
[37], Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. [38], This is the first and great commandment. [39], And the second is like to it, You shall love your neighbour as yourself. [40], ON THESE TWO COMMANDMENTS HANG ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS.

ROMANS 13:8-10 [8], Owe no man anything, but to LOVE ONE ANOTHER: for HE THAT LOVES ANOTHER HAS FULFILLED THE LAW. [9], FOR THIS, THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, THOU SHALT NOT KILL, THOU SHALT NOT STEAL, THOU SHALT NOT LIE, THOU SHALT NOT COVET; and IF THERE SHALL BE ANY OTHER COMMANDMENT, it is briefly SUMMED UP in this saying, namely, THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF.
[10], Love works no ill to his neighbor: therefore LOVE IS THE FULFILLING OF THE LAW.

Indeed brother UNRIGHTEOUSNESS IS SIN (Breaking any one of God's 10 commandments).

1 JOHN 5:17-18 [17] ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS IS SIN: and there is a sin not to death.
[18], WE KNOW THAT WHOEVER IS BORN OF GOD SINS NOT; but he that is begotten of God keeps himself, and that wicked one touches him not.

1 JOHN 3:4 [4], Whoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW.

and again;

JAMES 2:10-11 [10], For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. [11] For he that said, DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, said also, DO NOT KILL. Now if thou commit NO ADULTERY, yet if thou KILL, YOU ARE BECOME A TRANSGRESSOR OF GOD'S LAW

OBEDIENCE to God's ETERNAL LAW (10 Commandments) through faith that works by LOVE is how RIGHTEOUSNESS is expressed.

PSALMS 119:172 [172] My tongue shall speak of your word: for ALL YOUR COMMANDMENTS ARE RIGHTOUESNESS.

ROMANS 3:31, Do we then make void the law through faith? GOD FORBID: YES, WE ESTABLISH THE LAW.

and is why JESUS says;

[40], ON THESE TWO COMMANDMENTS HANG ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS.

and why JOHN says;

2 JOHN 1:6 AND THIS IS LOVE THAT WE WALK AFTER HIS COMMANDMENTS. This is the commandment, That, as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.

and again here;

1 JOHN 5:2-3 [2], BY THIS WE KNOW THAT WE LOVE THE CHILDREN OF GOD, WHEN WE LOVE GOD AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS [3], FOR THE IS THE LOVE OF GOD, THAT WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: and his commandments are not grievous.

and is why it is written;

1 JOHN 2:3-4 [3], And HEREBY WE KNOW THAT WE KNOW HIM IF WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. [4], HE THAT SAYS I KNOW HIM AND DOES NOT KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS IS A LIAR AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM.

1 JOHN 3:6 WHOSOEVER ABIDES IN HIM SINS NOT: WHOSOEVER SINS HAS NOT SEEN HIM OR KNOWS HIM

1 JOHN 3:9 [9], WHOSOEVER IS BORN OF GOD DOES NOT COMMIT SIN; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1 JOHN 5:18 [18] We know that WHOSOEVER IS BORN OF GOD SINS NOT; but he that is begotten of God keeps himself, and that wicked one touches him not.

ROMANS 2:12-13 [12], For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; [13], FOR NOT THE HEARERS OF THE LAW ARE JUST BEFORE GOD BUT THE DOERS OF THE LAW SHALL BE JUSTIFIED.

and why JESUS says;

JOHN 14:15 [15] IF YOU LOVE ME KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS

.............

Now if LOVE is the very expression of OBEDIENCE to God's LAW *ROMANS 13:8-10 and God's ETERNAL LAW (10 commandments) are the very definition of what RIGHTOUESNESS is *PSALMS 119:172, and to break any one of God's 10 commandments is SIN *JAMES 2:10-11. How can you LOVE GOD and your NEIGHBOR as yourself, if we have no LOVE and break God's Commandments which ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS HANG *MATTHEW 22:36-40?

Unless we are BORN AGAIN to LOVE from the INSIDE OUT we are only like dead mans bones and all we can do without JESUS is SIN *1 JOHN 3:4.

Hope this helps :).

Red highlights emphasis added by me.
In the Greek Manuscripts of the New Testament, the Greek word "adikia" is translated to the English word "unrighteousness" in 1 Corintians 13:6 and John 7:18. According to HELPS Word-studies, the definition of "adikia" is: 93 adikia (a feminine noun derived from 1 /A "not" and 1349 /dike, "justice") - properly, the opposite of justice; unrighteousness, as a violation of God's standards (justice) which brings divine disapproval; a count (violation) of God's justice, i.e. what is contrary to His righteous judgments (what He approves).

What is UNRIGHTEOUNESS and what is GOD'S STANDARD of RIGHTEOUSNESS according to God's WORD?

1 JOHN 5:17-18 [17] ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS IS SIN: and there is a sin not to death.
[18], WE KNOW THAT WHOEVER IS BORN OF GOD SINS NOT; but he that is begotten of God keeps himself, and that wicked one touches him not.

UNRIGHTEOSNESS meaning in the HEBREW (H5766) עול עול עולה עולה עלה ;‛evel ‛âvel ‛avlâh ‛ôlâh ‛ôlâh From H5765; moral evil: - iniquity, perverseness, unjust (-ly), unrighteousness (-ly), wicked (-ness).

UNRIGHTEOSNESS meaning in the GREEK (G93) ἀδικία; adikia (legal) injustice (properly the quality, by implication the act); moral wrongfulness (of charater, life or act): - iniquity, unjust, unrighteousness, wrong.

ALL UNRIGHTOUESNESS IS SIN
which is breaking any one of God's 10 commandments. UNRIGHTEOUSNESS is the opposite of RIGHTOUESNESS and ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS is SIN *1 JOHN 5:17 and SIN is breaking any one of God's 10 commandments *JAMES 2:10-11; 1 JOHN 3:4 then RIGHTEOUSNESS is OBEDIENCE to God's ETERNAL LAW (10 commandments) as is why it is written;

PSALMS 119:172 [172] My tongue shall speak of your word: for ALL YOUR COMMANDMENTS ARE RIGHTOUESNESS.

According to God's WORD in the NEW COVENANT God's ETERNAL LAW (10 commandments) is the STANDARD of GOOD and EVIL; SIN (if broken) and RIGHTEOUSNES (if obeyed) *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4; PSALMS 119:172; ROMANS 2:13; ROMANS 13:8-10; ROMANS 3:31.

According to God's WORD in the NEW COVENANT God's ETERNAL LAW (10 commandments) is the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL; SIN and RIGHTEOUSNES *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4; PSALMS 119:172.

Sadly your post has no truth in it and you are just repeating yourself without addressing any of the posts and the scriptures provided to you that disagree with your interpretation of the scriptures. The post you are referring to can be found in post #1655 linked here for all to see. In this post Gods WORD defines SIN as the transgression or the breaking of any one of God's 10 commandments *1 JOHN 3:4; JAMES 2:10-11, SIN is the transgression of God's LAW.

Everytime the word SIN was used I added in brackets to show these were God's WORD that was added that DEFINE what SIN is according to the scriptures *1 JOHN 3:4; JAMES 2:10-11. These are God's WORD not my own words. You provide your own words which are not God's WORD. Only God's WORD is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW it over the teachings and traditions of men that seek to break the commandments of God. It is JESUS that says all those who KNOWINGLY follow the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God are not following God *MATTHEW 15:3-9. I know who I BELIEVE how about you *ROMANS 3:4; ACTS 5:29

...............

Original from Post #1655 linked here

Not at all. You have only been provided God's WORD. God's WORD is not my words and it is the WORD of God that says anyone claiming to be from God and having God's Spirit while breaking any one of God's 10 Commandments is a liar and the truth is not in them.

1 JOHN 2:3-4
[3], And HEREBY WE KNOW THAT WE KNOW HIM IF WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS .
[4], HE THAT SAYS I KNOW HIM AND DOES NOT KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS IS A LIAR AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM.

and again...

1 JOHN 3:3-15
[3], And every man that hath this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
[4], Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW

NOTE: JOHN is continuing his theme; that we sin not or do not break any of God's 10 Commandments

[5], And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
[6], Whosoever abides in him SINS NOT [does not break God's 10 Commandments]: whosoever SINS [breaks God's 10 Commandments] hath not seen him, neither known him

NOTE: v6 links to what JOHN says in 1 JOHN 2:3-4. v4 HE THAT SAYS I KNOW HIM AND DOES NOT KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS IS A LIAR AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM

[7], Little children, let no man deceive you: he that DOES RIGHTOUESNESS IS RIGHTOUES, even as he is righteous.

NOTE: Righteousness is defined as not breaking God's Commandments *PSALMS 119:172; ROMANS 2:13; 1 CORINTHIANS 7:19; ROMANS 3:31; ROMANS 13:8-10

[8], He that COMMITS SIN [breaks God's 10 Commandments] is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
[9], Whosoever is born of God DOES NOT COMMIT (pratice) SIN [does not knowingly break God's 10 Commandments]; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

NOTE: The born again believer does not practice known sin or does not knowingly break any one of God's 10 Commandments.

[10], In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the distinguishing point and shows who God's children are and the children of the devil. The children of God do not knowingly practice sin by breaking any one of God's 10 commandments. The Children of the devil practice sin or break any one of God's 10 Commandments. This also links back what JOHN says the the previous chapter in 1 JOHN 2:3-4

Now back to the OP, where is the scripture that says God’s 4th Commandment has now been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day? There is no scripture is there? If there is no scriprture for this tradition why pretend that there is?

Sorry brother God's WORD does not teach lawlessness.

Only sent in love as a help to you :)

I don't know where you got that, there it says to observe days, and keeping the sabbath is to observe a day, you are getting more far away from the plain interpretation than me, looking for alternate meanings.

That is the difference between what we are talking about brother. Scripture defines the scripture. You put your own interpretation on the scriptures. If you let the scriptures define and interpret themselves as shown in the example above it does not say what your teaching. Your trying to read into the scriptures something they are not saying.

I disagree, he is not talking about the occult there.

Everything that we have in the NEW TESTAMENT scriptures come from the OLD TESTAMENT sciptures. You were shown what PAUL was quoting from in the OLD TESTAMENT scriptures. If you disagree you are welcome to do so. Just saying you disagree however for the sake of a disagreement does not support antything you are saying. This alone should give you something to think about brother. Did you have any scriptures to share in relation to the OP?

God bless.
