A simple request from me, just a lowly priest: Please, Holy Father and good bishops of Brazil and the Amazon Synod, do not even allow this proposal to be considered. Radically toying the very matter of the Most Blessed Sacrament should not be a discussion at any local synod or, I would argue, even at an eucumenical synod. If it does show up as a topic of discussion at any official synod...

But will it be leavened yuca or unleavened yuca?

Wow no gluten free bread, that leaves me ( and those like me) sitting on the bench anyway.

There are low-gluten hosts. Those who are unable to consume even the low-gluten hosts are able to receive Holy Communion through consuming the Blood alone.

Well no not exactly, because I get whacked from cross contamination, someone dips their host in the cup, they just wiped that out too.
Intinction is not allowed in the U.S.

Nobody is allowed to dip the host in the cup. I have seen the priest do that only once at the nursing home for a very sick resident. And it was for her alone. It was not passed around. Nobody is allowed to dip the Host in the cup like chips and dip.

Lets just say I'm documented Catholic . On paper I am yes.
Well if you are not a practicing Catholic then I can understand some of the things you said that are simply not done.

If it's not bread, it's not the Eucharist.
I know but besides this tapioca type substance there are plenty of grains to make bread from besides wheat, some of which are ancient grains ( on another note pretty good too ). It is what it is, I'm not here complaining or whining, the church certainly isn't the only place where this is a concern to those with celiac or just low gluten tolerance for that matter.. But we do have to be careful what we take in is all.

Well I know a little girl in our parish that simply takes the blood in a seperate chalice. Body, Blood, Soul and Divinty are fully present in both forms. I also used to partake of Communion spiritually when I was converting. Monsignor Pope is absolutely correct in the article he wrote.

The low gluten hosts are processed in such a way that the amount of gluten is not dangerous even to someone with celiacs disease

“I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said, ‘O my lord, what shall be the issue of these things?’ He said, ‘Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end. Many shall purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand; but those who are wise shall understand. And from the time that the continual burnt offering is taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he who waits and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days. But go your way till the end; and you shall rest, and shall stand in your allotted place at the end of the days.’” - Dan. 12:8-13
