Another Argument Against Flat Earth

Sure they could. They could stick to a single language, for a start. Then they could actually have called it "Operation Let's Get Out Of The Lord's Fishbowl"

But that would make the conspiracy theory redundant, so you wouldn't be able to proclaim your special knowledge that nobody else has, would you?

Not to mention that trying to break such a dome would be a really dumb idea in the first place. If, as the flat earthers suggest, gravity doesn't exist, then there is nothing else holding the atmosphere to earth. So if it broke, and whatever was on the other side was less dense than the atmosphere, it would all decompress and the entire world would suffocate.

Somehow I don't think that a super international millennia - old conspiracy smart enough to fool the entire world for 2500 years wouldn't have thought of that possibility.

Also, why would they choose to launch it from an island in the Pacific Ocean north of the equator? In the real (read: round) world, space launches are more efficient from sites closer to the equator (that's why Cape Canaveral is in Florida - the rotation of the earth helps give the rockets extra momentum and somewhat offsets the force of gravity, making it need slightly less thrust). On the flat earth model, however, it would make much more sense to launch it from somewhere near Antarctica, because then the distance to the walls of the 'dome' would be much less, and it would save a lot of expenses on fuel and such.

If your retort is 'well they did it that way to hide their true objective', then why are you suggesting that they gave it away in the public code names?

Really, this is one of those ideas that just makes less and less sense the more you think about it.

It's simple. Because walls of ice exist, that proves that there's a giant, permanent one surrounding Antarctica that the conspiracy is constantly guarding to prevent anyone from discovering that the earth is actually flat (but they still let them get close and take pictures and videos of it because this conspiracy is simultaneously omnicompetent and completely inept at doing what they do).

That's what I assumed it would be, but a 4 minute video of a couple of miles of ice shelf is hardly evidence of an ice wall surrounding Flat Earth. I was hoping for something a little more compelling.

Probably the reverse. You may have too many neurons in your brain with a significant number of connections between them. While such an arrangement can be beneficial when taking IQ tests it will also prevent a proper understanding and appreciation of Flat Earth Theory. Sadly, you will just have to learn to live with this impediment.

What does it take to get you to understand that videos are the hallmark of propagandists and manipulators who lack the intellect, or the substance to offer properly measured and substantiated arguments?
