Those who quote Mk2:27 use it to claim that the Sabbath is for everyone.
That and the reference in Gen.2 about the "day" itself being Holy. (for everyone) Not what it means when compared with the rest of the Bible. Interestingly, they never talk about the REAL POINT Jesus was making, which is that MAN was not MADE for the Sabbath. That's the punchline.

It is JESUS and God's WORD alone that says that the SABBATH was made for ALL manlind. The scripture says;

MARK 2:27 [27], And he said to them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.

The GREEK word used here for man is ἄνθρωπος; anthrōpos From G435 and ὤψ ōps (the countenance ; from G3700); manfaced, that is, a human being: - certain, man.

JESUS is saying that the SABBATH was made for mankind or human beings.

There was no JEWS or ISRAEL or SIN when the Sabbath was made for mankind GENESIS 2:1-3
