Could it be that the Holy Spirit was operating in the Philadelphia church.... and era... at a much higher level than in the Smyrna church and era?

In the time of the Prophet Elijah Queen Jezebel and her followers were allowed to martyr virtually all of the Schools of the Prophets but.......
by the time of Elijah in II Kings chapter 1..... . two of those captains of fifty and their fifty died young.......
and it seems that this greater outpouring of power set in motion a period of time in which Schools of the Prophets could again be set up and Elisha could go to some of those Schools.

2 Kings 1

Then [the king] sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he was sitting on the top of the hill. And he spake unto him, O man of God, the king hath said, Come down.

10 And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
Most definitely, those who attain, are given more to attain unto.

How do you reconcile this with what Messiah said?
And having called His twelve apostles near, He gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every bodily weakness. Mt 10:1

See, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions
(σκορπίων/skorpions/pointed stinger), and over all the power of the enemy, and none at all shall hurt you. Lk 10:19

I personally am wide open to the idea of fallen angels, demons, hungry ghosts, fallen Watchers/ sons of G-d and the children and grandchildren that they had through the daughters of men in the time of Noah ...... being restored to G-d..... in a manner very similar to how we Christians repent and are restored.

When we Christians view ourselves and our sins...... as very serious....as comparable to the sins of Bar Abbas / Barabbas..... .who was a notable prisoner who committed insurrection and murder, (and who can guess what all else along with that).........then....... the stage will be set for the denominations of Christianity to come together........ and then... .we will also be able to find common ground with the other religions.... and the Bride of Messiah the church..... will even be able to heal fallen angels and invade hell itself........... as is predicted in the Book of Enoch..... (as I understand it anyway). I take the idea of the Restoration of All Things..... as an absolute....... I believe that G-d wishes to restore even Azazel........ and Lucifer...... and LLT of Hebrew thought!

If this is true, then you know it is not of God.

Or..... when the Holy Spirit begins to be poured our more and more and more on all flesh.........
does everybody begin to catch on to what is really happening here?

Jeremiah 31:34

And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Reverend Howard Storm's Near-Death Experience

The future that they showed me was almost no technology at all. What everybody, absolutely everybody, in this euphoric future spent most of their time doing was raising children. The chief concern of people was children, and everybody considered children to be the most precious commodity in the world.

And when a person became an adult, there was no sense of anxiety, nor hatred, nor competition.

There was this enormous sense of trust and mutual respect. If a person, in this view of the future, became disturbed, then the community of people all cared about the disturbed person falling away from the harmony of the group. Spiritually, through prayer and love, the others would elevate the afflicted person.

What people did with the rest of their time was that they gardened, with almost no physical effort. They showed me that plants, with prayer, would produce huge fruits and vegetables.

People, in unison, could control the climate of the planet through prayer. Everybody would work with mutual trust and the people would call the rain, when needed, and the sun to shine.

Animals lived with people, in harmony.

Not so! Sis, yet it is not a matter of reconciling all of the inconsistent or erroneous concepts of the many faiths, but of the Truth that rests therein, with all (not just some) of it's pertinent parts viewed in their proper perspective.

For we all see in part, but when that which is Whole comes, then that which is in part will be done away, incinerated even.

The scriptures conclude, Salvation is of the Jews, but only He that is Whole knows and understands it all, and He is whom we expect to come set the record straight.

Several years ago I read about the near death experience of a then fifteen year old Israeli named Natan who had a near death experience in 2015. He claims to have spoken to a famous previously deceased Rabbi. Back in 1988 I would immediately have been offended and thought that the Rabbi.... must have been a demon..... posing as the Rabbi......... but within a couple of years of studying NDE accounts I began to look at both the Jewish and the Messianic Jewish scriptures in a truly new light!

My point is that near death experiences are not the key to reconciliation with God.

For nearly thirty years of researching NDE accounts I have concluded that there is a difference between a near death experience account that INCLUDES THE LIFE REVIEW...... from one that does not have a Life Review with a being of light........ .who I believe is none other than Messiah Yeshua - Jesus.

Messiah Yeshua - Jesus made certain promises that i do not believe he would allow Satan to attempt to replicate......... but I do have to admit that there does seem to be exceptions to virtually every general rule....... because Matthew chapter 4 is a caution for any of us that we might meet a deceiving being of light in the out of the body or near death state?????

Jhn 5:22

While this is a fascinating study, I have found nothing that suggests that it is nothing more than part of the body's shut down process and firing back up... so yes, it does include the life review.

I think what concerns me the most about this fascination is its direct interest in what the Lord said is not for us to be intrigued about. Do not seek answers from the dead.

Good point...... but in virtually every case that I know of the person having the near death experience was not attempting any sort of seance or communication with discarnate entities.

Colton Burpo..... for example... his grandfather came to him..... I believe because Colton temporarily was actually dead but Messiah Yeshua - Jesus resurrected him due to the extreme chutzpah prayers of his dad on behalf of his son........

By evidence of your support of NDE, you are expecting answers to come from it. That is hoping to get answers from the dead. I don't care how close to the truth they are, it is suspect.

Actually.... Messiah Yeshua - Jesus is not dead..... plus.....

John 11:25 "Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.

John 11:26 “And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

I used to think the same thing.......
but Messiah Yeshua - Jesus did meet with both Moses and Elijah.

I also believe that something changed on the third day when Messiah was resurrected.

What the disciples saw, Messiah talking to Moses & Elijah, was a vision. Otherwise, the Messiah was in clear violation of the Torah for consulting the dead.

If Messiah is Lord of the Sabbath.......
is Moshiach unable to make judgments regarding much smaller matters than how to observe the Shabbat????????

Sabbath observance under extreme conditions....

I just want to say that I am truly sorry for all those years that I was close to believing in near total pacifism! Rabbi Jesus/Yehoshua once asked a question of the Scribes and Pharisees that should have made it obvious to me that an extreme situation can call for drastic action by a Christian or Jew who feels called into a life in the military or police!

Mark 3:4 "And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace."

I am almost certain that Rabbi Jesus/Yehoshua was referring to the situation faced by the Machabees when Greco - Syrian armies were attacking Jewish communities on the Sabbath.

One community had refused to fight back....but the Machabees....in my opinion correctly judged that this is a violation of an admonition by King Solomon:

Ecclesiastes 7:16 "Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself?"

Douay-Rheims Catholic Bible, 1 Machabees Chapter 2
...
"So they gave them battle on the sabbath: and they were slain with their wives, and their children, and their cattle, to the number of a thousand persons. [39] And Mathathias and his friends heard of it, and they mourned for them exceedingly. [40] And every man said to his neighbour: If we shall all do as our brethren have done, and not fight against the heathens for our lives, and our justifications: they will now quickly root us out of the earth.

[41] And they determined in that day, saying: Whosoever shall come up against us to fight on the sabbath day, we will fight against him: and we will not all die, as our brethren that were slain in the secret places."

The truth belongs to him, and the facts as well.
No point arguing though.

We will see in the next few years, as we enter
or discover we're already in the tribulation and
getting ready to enter the seventh millennium
and the Sabbath reign of Yahushua.

Have you hear the near death experience of young Israeli Natan who was only fifteen back in 2015 when he had his brush with death?

His testimony is in Hebrew... but the video has subtitles.

There is a special call to be there within the feasts.. and only three, which Yom Kippur is not one of them. Strange to my way of thinking since it is so significant in the process of separating us from sin. The first feast to be there for is Passover, which I understand because everyone needs to be there for the Lamb of God. The second time is Pentecost, which makes sense because that is when we receive the Holy Spirit in larger measure. The final time is Sukkot, which makes sense only because it is the second coming, and we need to be there for that.
