Those who continue in known intentional unrepentant sin, will not ever be saved or go to heaven...?

What...? "Sin will be done away with completely", not what you said...

Not following...?

God Bless!

According to Daniel.9.24 the Savior put and end to sin upon death. The verse is a split verse . The finish transgression..end to sin..make reconciliation ...to bring everlasting righteosness.

This is past tense...but you said will which is future tense.

So i was curious why you are speaking in future tense.

I wasn't quoting scripture... But sin on earth will not be done away with until Jesus returns and sets up "heaven on earth" basically, and that's when there will be no more sin...

Unless your saying sin is done away with now and today...? Your not saying that are you...?

God Bless!

Daniel 9:24 says otherwise. Christ's death put an end to sin in Gods eyes when it comes to born again christians. We are without blemish. There are already numerous threads about continual salvation opinions so i will stop here.

That's better, you will approach the throne in full assurance because you have the righteousness of Christ. You are chosen, elect, deeply loved by Jesus. This is God's will and fully exerted in Christ.

Your already reigning with Christ, seated with Christ in the heavenly realms, rejoice.

That seems like a Calvinistic approach. I’m curious if that is the case why did Jesus and the apostles tell everyone to believe if they are incapable of choosing whether to believe or not?

Hello, I'm rather new to the forums and so far folks have been polite here which I appreciate.

I would like to comment on the chapter in Hebrews that has been brought up. When we read the chapter in light of the whole book, verse 26 is re-iterating verses 10 and 18 which are declaring that the blood of Christ was the final sacrifice for Sin. The author is both celebrating the goodness of the sacrifice being complete and total, as well as warning that if anyone should knowingly reject Christ's sacrifice with full understanding, there will not be another sacrifice for them to come back to.
You correctly note that v.26 is a reiteration of v.10 and 18. The author mentions the "once for all" sacrifice of Jesus 9 times between ch 7, 9 and 10.

You can not be Born Again more than once. The sin that separated you from God is no longer a problem, it has been done away with 2000 years ago, regardless of what 'type' of sin it was or is or will be.
Amen!

If a Believer is even slightly worried that their sin is sending them to hell, then they are not in danger of going.
However, the believer who is "even slightly worried that their sin is sending them to hell" apparently doesn't believe the "once for all" sacrifice of Jesus for their sins, nor what Jesus promised in John 10:28; that those He gives eternal life shall never perish.

One further note: In Heb 10:12, the author speaks of Christ's sacrifice as "for all time". That even covers all future sins. Some believers confuse 2 Peter 1:9 as Christ's sacrifice only covering sins prior to their faith in Christ.

Who cares as long as Christ is preached, Christ takes precedence over opinions!

Na.. that's not written. Really? Think of all the people.. believers that die to soon. Or are murdered or what ever.. . You think they are all repented up.... confess all? No..

We will stand in the fire and whats left is where we then get our rewards. Its how we LOVE each other.. Read 1st,2nd 3rd John. He talks about it.

Paul talked to some about how they were living.. as the world.. then to only drinking milk.. not the meat of the word. People like that.. are saved.. will go to heaven.. just.. what gets burned.. away.. and whats left.. some will not get any rewards... blah blah blah.. as I read it..

I suppose it depends on what you mean. Is a person unrepentant or is a person weak, does the person sin, repent but then fall once more. It demonstrates a lack of maturity in Christ more than anything else in that case. God has revealed to all of us how to have victory over sin, and to those who teach if you have sin as a Christian you are going to hell would do good to read the book of 1st John chapter 1 especially. John was writing to believers here and says if you say you are without sin then the truth is not in you but if you sin ask God to forgive you. Maybe it would be better if they translated that when you sin. Sin is the state of fallen man and Christ through the Holy Spirit works within you to free you from sin daily. We need to daily, notice I say we, die to our self or our flesh and allow the Holy Spirit to be alive in us. That is walking in the light. Walking in the light does not mean walking sinless. If we say we have no sin the truth is not in us and we make God a liar. To those who teach and preach such condemnation should take a very close look at this truth. Mathew chapter 7 especially chapter 2. The standard you use to pass judgement will be the standard you receive. I think I prefer the standard set by Christ when asked how many times should a man forgive his brother and he replied 70 times 7, in other words every time. If we walk in submission, again not something we can do on our own, God will bless us. If we walk in constant judgement and are ready willing and desire to cast aside every person who sins then the truth is not in us. The divine truth of Gods compassion and forgiveness. Let God judge and let us forgive and love. Yes there is a judgement but we are not the judges. Yes we should exercise good judgment and if we see our brother or sister fall we are to help him or her rise again. We are to talk to them in love and by so doing restore them to the fullness of Gods grace.

When I was a very young Christian and new in my walk of righteousness, I would go to church and the pastor would preach a sermon on the very sin I was guilty of that week....whether by thought, by flesh or by disobedience or unforgiveness of others....and he would give an alter call for any person need to rededicate themselves to the Lord, get saved again, or get delivered of backsliding...I would go up every Sunday and cry my eyes out and confess my sin and beg for forgiveness. I guess you might say our church was the fire, hell, and brimstone type of teaching....needless to say I finally gave up and said this Christianity thing is too hard and no matter how hard I try I still mess up...…...

I hardly ever come on Christian Forums anymore, but this morning I was once again reading a post you wrote some time back. It was what you wrote above, but you had added some details. It had blessed me so much that I copied and pasted it to my computer. It still blesses me today. I just wanted to thank you.

I am happy you were blessed. God Bless!:)
I wish pastors would spend more time teaching us to see and know God as a loving Father instead of a harsh God who is quick to anger.
