This is probably not a question or a discussion, but something I have wondered most of my life and just something I would like to share. I've wondered most of my life what knowledge Adam and Eve received from the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil that would make them ashamed that they were naked. They were created and were together from the beginning and they were naked and not ashamed. What knowledge did they receive from that Tree that God said that they are now as one of us?
Imagination knowledge, the act or power of forming a mental image of something not present to the senses or never before wholly perceived in reality. Something that you think exist or is true, although in fact it is not real or true. The thing that man can use to create in his mind anything as God. The ability to generate in our mind to build mental scenes of objects or people or events that do not exist, that can be good or totally perverted.
Imagination knowledge makes it possible to experience a whole world inside the mind. Imagination knowledge is not limited only to seeing pictures in the mind. It includes all the five senses and the feelings. One can imagine a sound, taste, smell, a physical sensation or a feeling or emotion. Adam was given ingenuity knowledge, ability to solve difficult problems so they could subdue and have dominion, but that is different than imagination knowledge.
Genesis 6:5 (KJV) 5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Proverbs 6:18 (KJV) 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
Jeremiah 13:10 (KJV) 10 This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing.
Romans 1:21-22 (KJV) 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.
2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
So, all of a sudden, Adam and Eve have the knowledge of being naked and the imagination of evil that is possible. Sin corrupted their innocence and was joined with guilt and fear for they knew evil and their imaginations took over. The imagination knowledge makes us like gods because we can create our own gods and be as gods. The most destructive and deceptive element of the imagination knowledge is, it suckers us into the belief it is secret, only in our minds, it’s ok because only we know. What we don’t realize, it is also recorded by our conscience (spirit) and can be seen by the Spirit of LORD God.
1 Chronicles 28:9 (KJV) 9 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.
