[12] Therefore prophesy, and say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I will open your graves, and raise you from your graves, O my people; and I will bring you home (meaning from the lands where they were buried) into the land of Israel. [13] And you shall know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves, and raise you from your graves, O my people. [14] And I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land; then you shall know that I, the LORD, have spoken
Thinking that the Lord will actually raise ancient Israel from their real graves, is a total mis-interpretation of this prophecy.
It is, as is easily discerned; a Spiritual renascence that is referred to, that we living people of God will receive in the last days. Just as Joel 2:27-29 prophesied and was experienced in a small way by the early Church. Acts 2:14-18
Note that both prophesies go on to describe the events preceding this outpouring of God's Spirit.

Hello Bab

I understand your point of view very well. I personally believe that Daniel 9 is finished and done before Jesus is even born.

This does present a problem though. Because if you are to say that the abomination in Daniel 8, 9 and 11 is that of Antioch II and it happened in 165ish BC Then what abomination is Jesus referring to spoken of by the prophet Daniel. Jesus said this almost 200 years after Antioch II. Now if you say it was Not in 165 BC but in 70 AD then you run into the real problem that all the events up to Verse 32 or 36 or 40 depending on your view in Daniel 11 have such uncanny fulfillment in reality that it led many great scholars to say the Book of Daniel was a fraud not written by Daniel at all but Written after 165 BC by members of the Maccabees

That leads us to another possibility and that is that Daniel 8, 9 and Daniel 11 are speaking about different events. IE Different Abominations. Plus we still have to deal with Daniel 7 and the change the Law and Times.

So let me start there what in your view is The Event where the Times and Law was Changed by the little horn of Daniel 7?

Why don't you actually read Ezekiel 37?
You would soon see that the House of Israel has not yet re-joined with the House of Judah. None of the Promised Blessings have been conferred yet.
Besides the fact of the Jews not being 'as many as the sands of the sea'.

But it does, because we Christians are the followers of Jesus; in whom all the Promises of God are and will be fulfilled. 2 Corinthians 1:20
Isn't it rather obvious that God will not pour out His Spirit and blessings upon anyone other that those who love Him and who accept the Salvation of Jesus?
Hi the promises of God speak of national Israel the 12 tribes getting a new heart and these promises are tied to the end times and make distinction between Jews and Gentiles. When Jesus comes many Jews will already be converted and certainly when He comes with His saints and the Mt of Olives splits in two and He melts His enemies they will know. It says in Zech 14 on that day when all this happens that the LORD is king over all the earth and that in that day the LORD is one. This is the Joseph moment when Jesus is revealed to them and the blindness is taken away. They are confessing Jesus is God when they make that statement. Isaiah 61 speaks of this day of vengeance of God and notes they will be mourning in Zion and He will give them the Spirit of gladness instead of mourning. If you consider Luke 1 which the Holy Spirit spoke through Zacharias when he named John you can see the things accomplished when the LORD returns if applied to national Israel.
“Blessed is the Lord God of Israel,
For He has visited and redeemed His people,
69 And has raised up a horn of salvation for us
In the house of His servant David,
70 As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets,
Who have been since the world began,
71 That we should be saved from our enemies
And from the hand of all who hate us,
72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers
And to remember His holy covenant,
73 The oath which He swore to our father Abraham:
74 To grant us that we,
Being delivered from the hand of our enemies,
Might serve Him without fear,
75 In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life
In my view this is accomplished at the 2nd coming when they are delivered from their enemies and they will worship and serve the LORD without fear and in holiness all their days. The holiness is as you said when they believe in Jesus. In Zech 14 you see exactly what is described in luke 1

What is the Power of the Holy people?
We are coheirs with Christ. Jesus is the King and the Bride is the Wife. Like a Queen or in this country a first lady. Under Clinton Hillary had power equal to Al Gore the Vice President.

144,000 or 12,000 from Each tribe represent God during the Tribulation period. The Church will not be here and the Bride will be with Jesus in Heaven. True believers (saints) well be martyred for their faith during that period.

Hi All

What is the Power of the Holy people?
Start with the day and month mentioned.

Honestly I get tired of these crazy interpretations of eschatology all over the place. It would almost seem that some people are deliberately trying to mislead others.

The valley of dry bones is describing the first resurrection that occurs at the second coming of Christ; the day of rapture.

It is that simple.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17,

"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever."

What it means is that during the reign of the beast, he will use his EU army in the middle east to occupy Jerusalem and Israel marshal law style.

Hi All

[7] The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream, raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven; and I heard him swear by him who lives for ever that it would be for a time, two times, and half a time; and that when the shattering of the power of the holy people comes to an end all these things would be accomplished.

What is the Power of the Holy people?

Guess I will jump into this fray. I see many people come up here with errorous interpreations.

First, we need to find out who are the holy people and what power did they received in the first place before that power given them is scattered.

Who are the holy people?

1 Peter 2:9-10 KJV
[9] But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
[10] Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

The holy people are chosen Elect to be part of God's Kingdom.

What is the power that they received?

Acts 1:8 KJV
[8] But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Revelation 11:3-4 KJV
[3] And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
[4] These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

The Christians are the Holy People, they are sanctified of the Lord, and this is the power that was GIVEN to them. Thus, this is the power that is scattered.

It is the power to SAVE souls. In the sense that we were given the power of the Holy Spirit, which saves, and through our witnessing of the Gospel of the Kingdom is extended throughout the world. We are the witnesses who have preached for the last 2,000 years, or symbolically, the 1,260 days. This is the New Testament Kingdom (Matthew 21:43) or Church age. The beginning of which, God gave His witnesses at Pentecost to receive this power to preach the gospel so that His church would be build while Satan was restrained at a bottomless pit. The witness of the world goes forth with THIS POWER for the 1,260 days.

Actually, this kingdom is something the Apostles did NOT really understand at first. That the Saints would actually reign on earth (spiritually) ambassadors of a spiritual kingdom situated above (Ephesians 2:6). Thus the kingdom of God they sought to come, had already come, and was not carnal or a worldly kingdom, but spiritual. It is revealed when we receive the power of the Spirit from on high, wherein we learn that is now being extended throughout the world through the preaching of the gospel of Christ (Luke 9:60). Even as the apostles asked, and it was revealed darkly, as though a glass which worth repeating:

Acts 1:6-8 KJV
[6] When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
[7] And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
[8] But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

For example, the kingdom is restored through the preaching of the Gospel. Because it is a SPIRITUAL KINGDOM. This is the establishment of the two witnesses of Revelation 11. This is the power that they were given. Consequently, this is the power of the holy people, that, AFTER the 1,260 days) is scattered. ONLY after ALL Israel are sealed, when the purpose of testimony/witnesses is finished, Revelation 7:1-4 and Revealtion 11:7-10!

Of course, I know that the problem is not in God's Word, but in man's penchant to deny anything in the word that contradicts their man-made traditions and beliefs.

Now the questions are, is this the end time? ABSOLUTELY! Is the time, times, and dividing a time when Satan is loosened out of the bottomless pit to scattered the power of Holy People? ABSOLUTELY! There a are many false prophets and christs in the church all over the world now that their doctrines have silenced the truthful testimony of the Saints. But will every Christian in the church "see" abominations in the church? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Only a small remnant will. And this is the rub! The "part" of God's truth that so many Christians find hard to grasp! Which is why they come up with so many convoluted schemes to deny what is written, and avenues and paths around God's Word. They want their will to be done, rather than God's.

I am sorry to say but it is happening today.

The power of the holy people being scattered is speaking of the gospel being preached in all the world. In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus states that all power is given unto him and that he is with you always, even unto the end of the world. 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. This power or preaching of the gospel is scattered throughout the world similar to when Jesus feed the 5,000 with only 5 loaves by breaking the loaves up into fragments.

All these things shall be finished when the scattering of the power has been accomplished. This is similar to Matthew 24:14 where the gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

The times, times, and a half or 42 months is the time period after the abomination of desolation.

The Abomination of Desolation:

In Daniel 12:11-12 the daily shall be taken away, that is the necessity to provide the daily sacrifices as outlined in Exodus 29:38-39 which was 2 lambs, 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening. The point at which this occurred is in John 1:29 where Jesus was declared to be the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. There are 1290 days until the abomination that maketh desolate is set up. The first sacrifice made after the veil of the temple was torn in two would be considered an abomination. In Matthew 27:51 along with the veil being torn there was an earthquake and the rocks rent. I think the altar used to make the sacrifices was broken down. In Matthew 24:15 the abomination is standing in the holy place, this is the altar being put back up again and sacrifices resumed. Blessed is he that waiteth and cometh to the 1335 days. This is Pentecost and is recorded in Acts 2. The difference between 1290 and 1335 is 45 days, it would have taken some time to put the temple back in order and resume the sacrifices after the veil was torn and the earthquake.

In Daniel 9:26-27 Messiah is cut off after 62 weeks or sevens. This implies that the event of the cross happens during the next seven. In the midst of the seven he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease. This is the veil being torn in two and the earthquake. I think this caused the sacrifices to physically cease for a short period of time. If the 70 sevens in Daniel 9:24 are continuous and there is not a parenthetical time period in between the 69th seven and the 70th seven then a problem arises. If the first 69 sevens are actual years and up to the 3 ½ mark of the last seven are actual years (the event of the cross) then why is Jerusalem destroyed in A.D.70 and not sooner?

The Olivet Discourse:

In Matthew 24:29 it states that the sun will be darkened, the moon shall not give light and the stars shall fall from heaven immediately after the tribulation of those days. Luke 21:24 has Gentiles treading down Jerusalem until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled, this happens before the event of the signs in the sun, moon, and stars. In Revelation 11:2 Gentiles tread the holy city under foot for 42 months. If the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D.70 is the event in Luke 21:20 and if this event would’ve happened at the same time as the abomination of desolation, then after the 42 months of the Gentiles treading down Jerusalem the signs in the sun, moon, and stars would come to pass. This would line up with the 70 sevens determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city in Daniel 9:24 and all the years could be viewed as actual, continuous years. We know these events didn’t happen this way.

Matthew 24 and Mark 13 both record the statement except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. Luke 21:22 states that these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. In Isaiah 53:10 which is speaking of Christ it states “when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days”. By implication if the days of vengeance are shortened then the days without vengeance will be prolonged. The statement that the days shall be shortened is not recorded in Luke and I think the days being prolonged have been incorporated into it. I think this is why the account in Luke doesn’t use the term “abomination of desolation” but says “when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies” and also includes Jerusalem being trodden down of the Gentiles.

2 Peter 3:8-9 (which in all likelihood was written before A.D.70) seems to address this very subject when it states “the Lord is not slack concerning his promise”. I think the “longsuffering to us-ward” is to be equated with the shortening of the days of vengeance and “not willing that any should perish” is to be equated with the sake of the elect. If we are currently in the last 3 ½ year period then there must also still be some type of tribulation. I think this tribulation is the fact that Israel is blind in part until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in (Romans 11:25). For a person can there ever be any other tribulation greater than not being able to comprehend, understand or believe the scriptures?

Matthew 24:34 states that this generation shall not pass, until all these things be fulfilled. In Matthew 1:17 there are 14 generations from Abraham to David, 14 from David to the exile to Babylon, and 14 from the exile to Babylon unto Christ. In Luke 1:32-33 Christ is given the throne of David and reigns forever. If the generations are viewed as time periods during certain individual’s lives and Christ lives and reigns forever then this statement can be referring to many human generations.

The power of the holy people being scattered is speaking of the gospel being preached in all the world.

Please note that Daniel 12:7 does not say that the people are shattered, but that their power is shattered. It is an end to the power of which Church was given for a great commission to do. The preaching of Gospel to the world for the purpose of SALVATION, but when the daily sacrifice (for salvation) is taken away and the abomination of desolation be set up, then that power is scattered or ended. Because it is a time of great tribulation when Satan is loosened form bottomless pit to attack God's witnesses in the church by silence their testimony and replace the Truth with his own doctirnes through the false prophets and christs. He is the one shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, Likewise:

Revelation 11:7-12 KJV
[7] And when they shall have finished their testimony (the power they received at Pentecost), the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

This is how Satan will be able to accomplish to scatter the power (testimony) of the Holy People. But only after all Elects have been sealed by God first, Revelation 7:1-4.

Alright, here is my hypothesis.

1000 years is as a day and a day is as 1000 years. (2 Pete 3:8)
time, times and 1/2 time = 3.5
3.5 is 3500 years?

42 months - I'd have to research it. Not sure if its literal to something specific (probably having something to do with the life of Christ) or not.

BC:
2167
Abraham is born, circumcised 2068 BC - he was 99 years old,
2067 Isaac is born. He is the representative "seed of promise".
1467 Burning bush incident - exactly 500 years after Isaac's birth; 1447 Year of actual exodus.
1007 King David begins reign - 1000 years later Christ is born
931 Solomon dies. People from the north, who do not wish to participate in pagan worship begin migrating south.
734 Assyrians began conquering lands. (1st incursion lasted 2 years) Some people from northern tribes continue to migrate south. (2 Kings 15:29)
722 Second Assyrian invasion.
721 Samaria falls. (2 Kings 17:3-6)
701 Assyrian incursion into Judah; Jerusalem withstands. (Isaiah 37)
605 Jerusalem falls to Babylon. (Daniel 1:1)
586 Remainder of Judah and Benjamin taken into Babylon. Those of the 10 northern tribes who did not migrate south by this point, had already either been assimilated into other parts of the empire, or put to death in battle.
538 Cyrus the Great's decree ends Babylonian captivity.
516 Temple completed Ezra's day. (2nd temple)
467 Commences the conquest of Persian Empire by the Greeks.
445 Nehemiah completes the wall.
67 Commences the conquest of Greece by Rome.
37 Herod the Great's reign starts.
27 Roman Empire is "incorporated" declaring Augustus "Emperor"
19 Herod begins reconstruction of temple (3rd temple)
9 Temple completed
8 Angel visits John's father in the temple.
1290 days from angel appearing to John's father - Herod kills babies in Bethlehem. Set's up "abomination of desolation". (Daniel 12)
7 Jesus Christ is born. (Feast of Tabernacles)
5 Magi come (likely fall of the year)
A comet also appears in this year. Comets were interpreted as "bad omens" by ancient astronomers.
2300 days from angel appearing to John's father - Jesus returns from Egypt. (Daniel 8:14 - The "sanctuary" (Christ) is "cleansed" (vindicated) of Herod trying to kill Him.)

4 Herod dies February of that year.

AD:
5 Jesus 12 years old in the temple.
29 John the Baptist begins preaching
A total solar eclipse also occurred this year. It correlated with the commencement of the "15th year reign of Tiberius Caesar" (Luke 3:1). in 30 AD the Romans minted a coin that had Tiberius "in eclipse" on the front and Herod's temple on the back.
Jesus is "driven into the wilderness of the Spirit" John is arrested.
32 John is beheaded.
This commences the 70 weeks of Daniel 9. There are 70 weeks between John's death and Pentecost. Pentecost is "the consummation". (Daniel 9:24-27) The Holy Ghost now cleaves Himself to the spirit of believers, now making them "new creature in Christ".
62 weeks from John's death commencement of "great tribulation". (The week the crucifixion takes place in.) After these 62 weeks is "Messiah cut off". (Daniel 9:26)
1 week is week of crucifixion

50 days from resurrection to Pentecost is 7 weeks.
This is the 70 weeks of Daniel 9.

33

Friday sundown - "6 days before the passover" (John 12:1) Mary anoints Jesus's feet.
This commences "the great tribulation". If it were to run its full week course, it would have ended at the end of the day of the crucifixion. (Daniel 9:27)
Jesus states that it would be "cut short or no flesh would be saved". (Matthew 24:22, Mark 13:20)
The "great tribulation" was "cut short" on the night of Passover when the angel of death came to Jesus. (Luke 22:43) The English says "strengthens" but the Greek means "show of strength before / against". This is the same angel in Exodus who comes through the land at midnight to slay the 1st born. (Exodus 12:29)
The angel of death consigns Jesus's soul to Sheol. This is where He "preached to spirits in prison". (1 Peter 3:19) Jesus does not physically die when this happens to Him on account of His Divine nature.
Sunday - Triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
Monday / Tuesday - Jesus preaches in temple.
Tuesday before Sundown - Satan cast out of heaven. (John 12:31, Revelation 12:9)
Tuesday night after sundown - (technically Wednesday) An anonymous woman pours oil over Jesus's head. He says she's done this for my burial. (Matthew 26:1-13)
This commences "3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the earth." (Matthew 12:38-42) Exactly 3 / 24 hour periods of time, Jesus is dead.
Wednesday - Jesus washes disciples feet, explains to them what will happen.
Thursday - Passover
Friday - Jesus arrested. "(Rooster) crows" at 3 AM. This is the change of the soldiers' watches. This was not a literal rooster crowing. It was a colloquial term used for a duel trumpet blast that called soldiers to watch. They'd blow a trumpet in one direction and 5 to 10 minutes later blow it in the other.
Jesus is taken to Pilate before dawn. "The preparation of the Passover" (John 19:14) was a term similar to our term "Christmas Eve". "Preparation of the Passover" was the "preparation day of the Sabbath" that fell in the Passover week. They were not preparing for the Passover. There was only one Passover and Jesus was not crucified on a Wednesday.
9 AM(ish) - Jesus is crucified.
"Father forgive them for they know not who it is they do this to." This was given in command form and came after the Centurion's command to his soldiers to commence the execution order. It was a style of "colloquial term" that those present would understand who it was directed at based on how it was said. It was directed at the soldiers. "Which none of the princes of this world knew; for if they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory" (1 Corinthians 2:8) This is one reason the Holy Ghost was not poured out until Pentecost. The Centurion and at least some of the soldiers would (or were) believers. If they'd been indwelled by the Holy Ghost, they would not have been able to perform their job.
Noon - Sun is darkened.
3 PM(ish) - Jesus dies. (Somewhere about this time the darkness leaves.)
Jesus tells one thief "Today you will be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:43)
Jesus knowing all things were accomplished.... "I thirst" (John 19:28)
"It is finished" (John 19:30)
Jesus Divine nature is rent from His human nature and this is actually what kills him.

Crucifixion site?

There is an earthquake and the Centurion and soldiers witness the veil of the temple being torn from the crucifixion site. (Matthew 27:54)
The temple faced east, so thus the only conclusion we can come to is that Jesus was crucified on the Mount of Olives. They would not have seen the veil torn if they were not east of the temple.

Sign of son of man in heaven?

Upon death; Jesus's soul is released from Sheol (Acts 2:31) and (it) along with His human spirit ascends to heaven to stand before the Father as "the lamb that was slain". (Revelation 5:12)
Along with Jesus appears in heaven a multitude that no man could count "from every kindred, tongue, tribe and nation" that "came out of great tribulation". (Revelation 7:14)
Jesus explained this would happen in Matthew 24:30 "sign of the son of man in heaven". (Note he's in heaven.) All the tribes of the earth mourn. This is something taking place (most noted) in the spiritual realm. Those who are left in Sheol mourn because they understand their condemnation is sealed and they will reap the wages of sin that they earned and be cast into the lake of fire on judgement day. This also goes for anyone who dies unregenerate subsequently. If they do not automatically ascend to heaven as "souls under the alter" they know they are condemned.
"Every kindred, tongue, tribe and nation". These are people who died on the Old Testament side of the cross. Those who do not have the written revelation of God have the witness of creation. (Romans 1) If they can be condemned for transgression of the law by the witness of creation, they can also be "justified by faith" with only the witness of creation.

Saturday
- Jesus's body rests on the sabbath. This sabbath was made for him. (Mark 2:27-28).
Sunday - Jesus rises from the dead (probably at 3 Am during change of the watch).
Christ begins his "millennial reign" when He rises from the dead. (Ephesians 1:20-21)

- Herod's temple destroyed by Rome.
At this point any genetic descendants of Abraham who were of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin, either converted to Christianity and left the area prior to the siege, or they were destroyed by the Roman army. The Romans renamed the area "Palestine".
484 - Last of Samaritans destroyed by the Byzantine empire. This is exactly 1000 years after the temple was completed in 518 BC. (Daniel 11:24)

1000 years in Revelation. That "thousand" is in the plural.

There are plenty of verses in the NT that talk about "the times". "times of the gentiles be fulfilled" (Luke 21:24), "times of refreshing" (Acts 3:19 & 21), "times and seasons" (1 Thess 5:1)

"Times" is used 27 times, but some of those are phrases like "forgive your brother 7 times". Paul received 39 stripes 5 times. Stuff like that.

But in cases where it's talking about a span of time, or the counting off of years as in relation to the duration of the New Testament era; it's always the word "times". (It's never singular.) Is that telling us something? I think it is.

Time, times and 1/2 time is used 3 places in the Bible:
Danial 7:25 - beast wears out the saints.
Daniel 12:7 - scattering power of the holy people.
Revelation 12:14 - woman in wilderness protected from Satan.

From 1467 BC (Moses and the burning bush) to 2033 AD is 3500 years. This is the time span of "corporate entities" of the people of God. ("Israel" and the "church" / which those who are eternally redeemed are the same "body of believers". The record of the written revelation of Scripture begins with Moses and is in existence till ..... the end.

So what is "scattering the power of the holy people"? It's the kingdom of Satan trying to prevent the word of God from going forth.

You seem very knowledgeable on this subject, I was wondering if you would be willing to elaborate on the abomination of desolation. In particular how do you view the 1335 days in Daniel 12:12? What event takes place that people are blessed when they wait and come to this day?

Simple: the IDF: Israeli Defense Forces
That is what they trust in.

First off the valley of Bones is the first resurrection not some man made gathering. You need to read and trust it clearly says God will bring them out of their graves

[14] And I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land; then you shall know that I, the LORD, have spoken, and

It really doesn't get any clearer that that............ and please do not try and say that it is a spiritual grave bla bla bla bla.... Accept Gods word and stop trying to twist it to fit a doctrine of men.

You are assuming that a time times and a half of times means literal days. There is ample evidence it could just as easily mean 1260 years just as the 42 months in Rev 13 could also mean 1260 years.

Do you really believe that these different ways of saying a time frame are just the Authors Whim.

There is a reason it does not say days because God wants us to understand it is a day for a year. Just as the Week in Daniel 9 are a day for a year.
Sorry, but the ample evidence is that it is 42 months to match the 1260 days and the time, times, and half of time. More evidence is that it is half of the 7 year period, from Daniel 9:27: the week divided in half. More evidence, it is the time of Jacob's trouble cut in half: Jacob had to work an extra 7 years for the woman he loved.

Hello Keras

Thinking that the Lord will actually raise ancient Israel from their real graves, is a total mis-interpretation of this prophecy.

I am sorry but you must be mistaken. I did not interpret anything. I simple trust God's words as they are written. The doctrine so many espouse that takes verses like this out of the literal to suit the doctrinal needs is interpretation........ not my literal reading.

Here is a Dictionary Definition for you to peruse

in·ter·pret
Dictionary result for interpret

I am taking it literally................. and you are interpreting the words.

Hope that helps you use the word "Interpret" correctly in the future.

The time frame is the last three and a half years before the coming of Christ and the first resurection.
From the time Israrl is given a host from the king of the north .An intetnational mlitary comprised of gentiles to occupy Jerusalem. It is at that time the sacrifice (conscription)of israels to thier king(goverment) is abolished till the time the abomination which causes desolation(nuke) is placed.

Note-Israels ally the king of the north only nukes jerusalem after it has been taken by the beast. He shall also nuke many middle eastern and north african countries which come against jerusalem.

The holy people you have highlighted are israelis who have been washed clean by Christ, and for three and a half years(same time frame jesus preached) they shall be persecuted throughout israel. Some imprisoned and some murderd for thier testimony of Christ.

Daniel 11:33 Those with insight will instruct many, though for a time they will fall by sword and flame or be captured or plundered.

Jesus gives these holy people in israel instructions in the gospel that they are to preach in every city in israel till he comes.

Matthew 10:23 When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next. Truly I tell you, you will not reach all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
