On a science forum, the bible is not really required to be supported. That is a given for those who know. Those who don't know...well, it is a given many of them do not want to know. Of those who do not know, and want to know, I can say that science is not going to help any more than asking an ant would help explain how to bake an apple pie.

Science is a tadpole that was born in and swims only in a shallow pond.

When people ask you for evidence, it behooves you to provide evidence, if you can. You never do.

Just another classic case of psychological projection. . . . attributing to others the fault in one's self. We all know, by now, Dad will continue to assert the scientists have not evidence in spite of evidence after evidence presented. He will assert has has proved his case when all he has done is stated it. There is no reasoning involved any more, it is all reflexive for him now.

That is false. Even casual reading of Kylie's posts shows no relationship between your claim and her actual thoughts on the matter.

Perhaps you are using bombastic rhetoric in one of your weak attempts to avoid fronting up with data supporting your own position. If that was not your aim then you are simply lying (in a weak attempt to avoid fronting up with data supporting your own position.)

Either way I believe you owe Kylie an apology. Restore some honour to your tattered reputation by offering that now.

My position is that science doesn't know. Yet science uses the present nature for models of the past. This is undeniable. So...prove there was such a nature in the past, or have your so called science remain exposed as just a beliefs. Beliefs are fine, even when as baseless as your own. What is not fie is pretending they are fact or knowledge. Those who try to do that are faced with a burden to support their claim.

Either way I believe you owe Kylie an apology. Restore some honour to your tattered reputation by offering that now.

The evidence for a different nature is not within science. You accept no other evidences. How would anyone reason with you? History and Scripture are accepted evidences for me. Looking at natural evidences also, a different past makes the best fit. All evidences support it. Nothing but baseless beliefs oppose it. So why would I toss out what God says the past was like for no reason?
