Do you believe Jesus will come back in your lifetime? This is not picking a date or year I am just saying within your lifetime ( I believe that is within the rules if not feel free to close.

Well, for me 'believe' is actually the strong word, indicating something like certainty. Instead I think it looks like some buds/leaves on the tree are beginning, which is strongly suggestive, but not high-certainty like 'believe'. Still, regardless, anyone should always do as they should since no one knows when their own last day is either. The reason to know when the last days are happening (when they begin), is that so once some of the more difficult challenges come, one can simply realize He foretold them, and know to not be afraid, but to simply find their refuge in Him.

He will come as a thief in the night, that would incline me to believe it will be in any moment, whether in my lifetime or not. The uncertainty of it makes me believe it could happen today. Our Lord said to be prepared and ready for it.

"For behold, the Lord is coming out from his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity, and the earth will disclose the blood shed on it, and will no more cover its slain." - Isaiah 26:21

Hi dogs,

Well, I'm 63 and don't expect to get more than 10 more years out of this life and so I'm doubtful that Jesus will return as I live and breathe above the dirt in this life. My reasoning is that I believe that there are yet a few more prophetic signs to be fulfilled that don't seem to have started yet. The greatest being the great Tribulation. However, I do fully allow that it could all begin tomorrow, or within the next year, and Jesus could well return within the next 10 years.

God bless,
In Christ, ted

Absolutely not. Christ will return victorious with the whole world believing. the Great Commission will have been fulfilled.
