The Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion
The Founders based it upon Judeo Christian reasoning, especially as in regards to the scriptures, as they held to Christian principles and many saw either God as creator, or Jesus as the Lord!

And they went on to create a secular republic, rather than a Christian nation.

They may have desired it and were free to evangelize as individuals, but the government cannot officially recognize any one religion as the "best" religion.

Why not? There are a lot of flat earth people here as well as some that believe the Constitution is illegal and we are still under the Articles of Confederation.

The better question is where is support for religious liberty in the Bible?

What I would like to know is what Judeo Christian reasoning and Christian principles have to do with the U.S. government violating hundreds of legal treaties and forcibly removing entire tribes from their tribal land while slaughtering other tribes for their tribal land or with the Three-Fifths Clause or with the enslavement of black people that was legal in this country for 89 years or with this country spending 188 years of its 242 year history legally and systematically discriminating against minorities.

I'm curious to know how all of that supports the Declaration of "All men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" or how it all supports the belief that America was founded on freedom, liberty and justice for all or that America was founded on Judeo Christian principles and reasoning.

If the founding fathers held to Christian principles and many saw either God as creator, or Jesus as the Lord, then why did some of them say the following about Native Americans?

That is where we're all heading if we don't watch out. That's why Trump's most important mission from his fanbase is the court appointments, why they will tolerate any misbehavior from him as long as he keeps right-wing judges coming. If Ginsberg croaks before we get rid of him you can kiss the First Amendment good-bye.
